I no longer have energy or time for temporary people or forced conversations.

Just know that when I was typing “I’m fine” I was crying but I didn’t want you to worry. Just know that when I screwed up, I was just trying to hard to be perfect. Just know that when I blocked you out, It was because I cared so much I was scared. Just know that when I smiled at you quickly, I was faking it so you wouldn’t have to deal with me. Just know that every time I rambled, I was just wanted to say “I love you”. Just know that when I decided to leave you, I felt you needed better.

I guess my problem is that I’m afraid of being rejected so I reject everyone instead.

I would rather hurt myself than be hurt by someone else, and so I took up this practice with a sense of purpose and without remorse.

It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary.

No one should ever have to feel the way you made me feel that day.
