        ‘ oh NO ! ‘   she signs, turning to martha as if looking for REPRIEVE. she taps her lip, humming her horrid thoughts.   ‘ if  I had to, hanschen I guess. he’s crass sometimes, but georg can be creepy, ‘  she GIGGLES, an honest friendly love for them both, yet, not quite so much that she can’t poke some not-so-untrue fun at them on her own time.

          she purses her lips, nodding empathetically as she quickly signs her reply, . ‘ right? like, he’s a nice guy, but sometimes he just gives me kinda weird vibes. ’ cocking her head to the side, she furrows her brows in thought. ‘ so is hanschen, though. honestly, i don’t know who i’d pick. probably hanschen, but you never know what’s going to happen with him. ’

        the  little battery clock she’d brought glows 11:47pm, she’s laying on her side, facing out of her own bunk enough to sign with martha and anna. her fits of giggles seem only to increase as the night rolls on filled with all the childish games & camp traditions.    ‘ okay, anna, would you RATHER — kiss melchior or hanschen? ‘

          oh, god. anna bites her lip in thought, fingers tapping gently on her chin.  “ah—” she speaks out loud, the sound of her voice breaking the silence startling her for a moment. she shrugs it off, focusing her attention back on the question. ‘ melchior, i guess? he is rather handsome, don’t you think? ’
