🌙 — "you again." evan didn't know why she was feeling.. off. her head, her senses were all off. but something about this woman pinged in her mind.

✨ → "believe me... if i could be anywhere else right now, i would be." the former heretic admitted. "not because of you obviously - i just wish we were meeting under better circumstances... better conditions at the very least."

🌙 — "Who are you supposed to be? And I don't mean the costume." Evan knew trouble when she saw it, and this one reeked of power. The wolf didn't like unforeseen variables, and wasn't about to let this one blindside her.

✨ → "Well, the answer was going to be Anne Boleyn, but I see you're looking for a more personal answer." the heretic remarked, looking at the wolf curiously. "All you need to know is I'm here to have a good time and enjoy my anniversary."

As much as Kol wanted to see his brother suffer for his transgressions and horrible actions towards him and his other siblings, the last thing he wanted was Niklaus dead. Even after everything he had suffered under the older's hand, he didn't want to see him permanently dead. He'd never voice it out loud, but he loved his brother. He just needed him to learn a lesson. "No problem at all, love. I can describe them to you and give you a bit of my blood to make the spell stronger. They are tied to us after all." He couldn't help but chuckle at the question. "Trust me, they're going to want this just as much as I do. Just as much as we do." He grinned and pecked her forehead lovingly. "Thanks, pet. I do have good ideas from time to time."

✨ → just as he always had, kol mikaelson finds a way to remind her why she'd dedicated nearly a century to him - even if he deprived her of the opportunity to exact the revenge she'd been dreaming of for months. at the end of it all it came down to one simple thing - she would rather have him in her life than klaus' undead heart in her hands. "always. you always have good ideas." she gingerly corrected following the peck. "and you, your siblings, and myself are going to have the last laugh at the end of it all."

"The only one that's going to regret anything in about five seconds is you." Henrik rarely felt the urge to resort to violence or threats; but he was a Mikaelson at the end of the day. They all had their quirks, and being prone to violence when pushed to it was definitely a trait they all shared - although some were more susceptible to that trait than others. "I don't know who you are, or who you think you are for that matter," he began, taking a step forward, "but it'd do you well if you minded who you were speaking with. I'm not hear to play these little mind games with you - I'm here to speak with my brother. A brother whom I haven't seen for quite some time. So unless you want your last living memory to be seeing your beating heart in my hand, I suggest you tell me where Kol is."

✨ → "i assure you, you'll be regretting it far more than me." the threat is a stark contrast to the civility thus far, but it's the next statement that catches her more off guard. "brother?" there was klaus of course - this man certainly wasn't him. there was also elijah - though he lacked the infamous decorum. finn, though he looked too young for that and she doubted any of the siblings had finally bothered to undagger him after all this time. the youngest of the bunch... well, he'd been gone before anything else. that left more questions than answers, and given the infamous original vampire tempers, she couldn't take the risk with kol out of the house. stepping back into the home as he stepped forward, a million thoughts ran through her mind, countless scenarios and options, but she leaned into the one she'd learned before she had vampirism to hide behind - cloaking. "invisque."

"well, that's a witch for you. ever the treehugger." he smiles as he ventures closer, albeit offering her a wider berth than he'd grant most others as he loops around her little makeshift ritual. a healthy respect for witches and the power they wield, in that way, has certainly never hurt him. "at the very least, i'm good company, you can rest assured of that." and unwelcome company, but klaus has never minded moving in where he's far from wanted. even from a short distance away, he studies interconnecting lines of the map lying beneath her candles—smeared blood preventing him from making much sense of it. he beams; amused. impressed. "what is it your spell is looking for? perhaps i can help."

watching as her good company closed in and examined her handiwork, the heretic found herself even more grateful for the foresight to conceal the original vampires blood she stored away as well as the destruction of her progress. nothing to implicate her in a conspiracy against him, and nothing damning. "i'm sure it's nothing that would be of any interest of good company such as yourself - a family heirloom lost for many years. and when life gives you lemons... you try to make lemonade." an ironic choice or phrase considering life nor nature had given her magic, and yet still there she sat. "and what is the big bad wolf doing out in the middle of the night? looking for red riding hood or the huntsman?"

"No, I need to talk to Kol." Henrik was a little miffed by her move to avoid his question as to who she was. It was obvious that he had the right house - she would have denied having knowledge his brother's existence altogether if he was at the wrong front door. "If you want to help, you could tell me where he is.. And who you are." He pushed the topic a little more forcefully, his hand resting on the doorframe of the entryway. Henrik didn't like to push people to do as he asked, but he needed to see the other vampire. "If you're worried about his safety, then I'm the last one you need to be hiding him from."

"i am not kol's keeper, i don't know where he is at this very moment, and i believe you knocked on my door demanding answers, and yet you've yet to offer a name yourself." the heretic reminded as she shuffled in her walkway, eye glued to the hand on the doorframe as she emphasized the fact that his brazen tone was not welcome there, and her patience was running thin. the last time kol mikaelson had gone to talk to someone he trusted he ended up daggered in a casket from nearly eighty years, and she wasn't about to invite trouble inside of her home. "unless you have a good reason for darkening my doorstep, and demanding my name, i suggest you leave before you come to regret it."

"And I'd burn the world to a crisp for you, Andromeda Cho." There wasn't a trace of a lie in his words, honesty and truth ranging through every syllable that he spoke. He meant it - Kol would turn the world upside down and back again just to make the heretic smile. And he'd do it without a second thought. His hand rested on the small of her back, gently rubbing up and down in a caring motion as a small smile spread across his face at the feeling of her lips against his cheek. "First thing's first, love - we track down those bloody daggers of his. And I need you to figure out a way to use his greatest weapon against him. I think it's time that we give Niklaus a taste of his own medicine, wouldn't you agree?"

her bliss continues as he suggests his alternative revenge on his brother - while not quite as satisfying as ensuring that the hybrid never so much as held an ill thought toward his brother, the idea of rewarding the mikaelson with his own dagger had it's own thrill. "if you can explain them to me well enough i could use a locator spell and then we'll at least know where they are. from there we can make a plan, and see it through. do you think your siblings would be agreeable or is this your own personal revenge?" a starting point, as for the rest of his conundrum, she'd think on it. "for the record, i think it's a brilliant plan."

"Kol, I -" Henrik stopped short when he realized who had opened the door wasn't in fact his older brother, but an unfamiliar face. He'd spent the better part of the day tracking him down to a modest house in Mystic Falls - one that he had obviously compelled himself in acquiring. Why, he wasn't sure. Although he had a feeling it was because of the woman staring back at him. "I'm sorry, I was just looking for Kol.. Who are you?"

✨ → andromeda cho felt no particular affection for mystic falls. it was terribly boring and uninteresting, but after nearly eighty-eight years apart, she would have stayed in a swamp if it meant she and kol could be together. it wasn't to say that she didn't appreciate the effort kol had gone to to secure them somewhere to call home - for now. it was homey, the sort of place she liked, and she was enjoying looking around the place, making silent plans when she heard someone at the door. answering it, she wasn't prepared to hear kol's name said, nor for someone to know that this was where they could find him. fighting the urge to slam the door in his face, she instead avoided the question. " no apologies necessary, though i'm afraid you've wasted a trip, i'm the only one here - is there anything else i could help you with?"

when she turns around, he smiles, perfectly shameless. "i mean, i'm you in a different font, but ... smite away, if it makes you feel better." he rakes his gaze over her, mind going a hundred different directions at once in search of threads to pull for answers, answers. "but first, hi, i'm kai parker. what's your name and do you believe that sharing is caring re: whatever powerful ritual is happening in here?"

it would have been easy enough to force him out with his explanation, especially with his ties to her oppresors, and yet. "if you can keep a handle on things, there's enough to go around."

at first, her only response is a laugh in the dark. then klaus steps out of the treeline, a roll of his shoulders helping him pull his jacket back on and finish dressing—luckily enough for this girl, he'd just returned from a wolf's hunt and wasn't still feeling the predatory effects of hunger. "calm yourself, little witch. it's only the big bad wolf, nothing to be alarmed about." his gaze cuts over the candles arranged before her, the map. interesting. "what are you up to all on your own out here?"

for all her murderous intentions, she stares at the man as he looks across her set up, taking it all in as he questions her, referring to her as little witch. from anyone else it would have been insulting, getting beneath her skin and inspiring a more drastic form of action. yet, in the name of respecting kol's wishes, she remains quiet, and reserved. "performing a spell - i find it easiest to commune with nature when i'm surrounded by it. with all the talk of animal attacks and mysterious disappearances no one tends to give me any grief." none of it is a lie, it makes it easier. "i just wasn't expecting company."
