Mulan has a special place in my heart, I was a little wild in my childhood, and seemingly more messy than both of my brothers combined. I was also horse crazy so I instantly fell in love with Khan. Mulan is such a great story and one that showed me the potential there is within me no matter how anyone else sees me. Back in a pre covid world I managed to nab a dream job with the help of @jackywinter and create a mural for a Karaoke room. My inspiration was the excellent and ancient ‘keyboard cat’ meme. This is where I live right now #stayhome #covid #selfisolation My recovery from pneumonia has been peppered with lots of intense feelings, sadness and anger being the main two. My heart breaks daily for the world and I am in awe of all the health workers as well as those that are keeping all our essential services running. My son asked me “what is the sad when I see my friend on the phone’ .. . I then explained what ‘missing’ means while crying. I’m missing family and friends and community but they are still there and I hope we all make it through this safe and well.
