Girls Day at the Park

With the weather being lovely and warm, Patzy and the neighbor, Anna-Maria Bloomberg, decided to visit the local summer festival at the park. It had been going on for a couple of days, but Callum had been too busy to take Patzy, so she decided to invite Anna-Marie out for a bit of fun in the sun.

Lately the two of them has been spending a lot of time together, getting closer and closer. Whenever Callum is out for work, Patzy usually invites her over for a movie or an yoga session. Most days the meet up and it’s safe to say, that Anna-Maria has become Patzy’s new BFF.

Yay! I’ve finally managed to queue a couple of posts up, so expect a few days with regular uploads ❤️

who is she? I know! This is sooo out of character for me 😂

I’ll try and keep up the queue, now that I’ve actually managed to make one. But plz forgive me if I can’t. I’ll do my best but can’t promise, that life won’t get in the way again. I still feel bad for letting you guys down and neglecting my tumblr. But I can’t keep beating myself up over it - Let this be a new new start. Start a fresh and find joy in TS3 again.

Patzy’s lack of advancement at her job has been messing with her lately. She has been feeling rather anxious and out of sorts. Her mood has been all over the place and she beginning to question herself and her abilities. Luckily Callum managed to calm her worries down and make is so her bad thoughts don’t manifest too often. But Patzy still feels bothered by it, which is why she has taken up yoga lately - hoping it will give her a little more mental stability.

Both Patzy and Callum can’t get enough of his little fluffy face. Patzy usually fills her blog with cute cat pictures of Cookie, much to her followers delight.  And every day, after work, Callum rushes to cuddle and play with his baby boy. Patzy is even beginning to get a little jealous of the cat, so she has demanded that Callum has to give her smooches before he is allowed to dote on Cookie.

Back at It Again!

Lets check in with our youngsters in SimMeopolis. Last we saw them they were partying up and living their best life, all while trying to advance in their careers.

Romance and Ruins

The weekend arrived and McKenna couldn’t contain herself, she was so excited. She had been planning the date all week. First they would take a stroll around the Monte Vista, where they would enjoy the different views and each others company. They would grab a light lunch at the bistro and end the night with a dip in the local pool. She wondered what she should wear but ended up choosing the same cute top and skirt she usually wore. This might be a date, but it was a casual one and the outfit would have to be something she easily could change out off when they reached the pool. Besides, Tom had complimented her in that outfit, so she knew he liked it.  

Is This Real?

McKenna couldn’t believe what had happened yesterday. Her heart skipped a beat every time she thought of the kiss. 

After the kiss they had remained embracing each other, watching the stars. McKenna had leaned her head against Tom’s broad shoulder, it was like she fit perfectly. Like their bodies was a two piece puzzle, that had finally been assembled. Tom kissed her hair and she snuggled further into his embrace. 

Afterwards Tom had driven her home, but had refused to stay over that night. McKenna had been a little disappointed as she wanted them to stay together for a little bit longer. But she likewise knew they wouldn’t be able to keep their hands off of each other, not after their passionate kiss. The same thought had struck Tom, that was why he had decided to go home after dropping McKenna off. McKenna was pure and traditional and he respected that. Until the time was right and they had truly committed to each other, he planned on not giving into the burning desire. He wanted everything to be perfect for McKenna. She should never again feel used or abused like she had with Eduardo. Tom would make sure that never happened again and if taking things slow was what he had to do - he would.

Life returned back to normal. To be honest McKenna was a bit frustrated. She and Tom spend almost every day together but beside the occasional petting and kissing, everything was like it had always been. 

Most days she would work or play her guitar at the park for tips while waiting for Tom. The two of them would meet up and Tom usually cooked them dinner before they settled down in the couch, snuggling to a movie. 

Starlight Kiss

The air was cold and refreshing, when McKenna and Tom stepped outside from the Karaoke-bar. The small space, many guest and heat from the spotlights and stage, had made the temperature inside quite hot.  McKenna however wasn’t freezing at all. The many drinks, she had enjoyed during the evening, was making her feel rather numb to the breeze and she could still feel the heat from Toms hand pulsation up her arm and spreading throughout her whole body. It amazed her how responsive her body was to every little touch Tom gave.

McKenna took a deep breath of fresh air and sighed in content. She leaned back and watched the night sky for a bit, all the stars were sparkling like fairylights. For a moment she just stood there, happy as can be.

Tom was standing beside her, but unlike her, he wasn’t looking at the stars. He was staring at McKenna in awe. She was beautiful, her eyes were sparkling in the moonlight and her sad expression had finally disappeared. He unknowingly moved closer and grabbed her waist. He pulled her into a hug and smiled as McKenna send him a wondering look.

“Be mine” Tom said and tightened his grip around McKenna, “Be mine and mine alone, Topolina”.

McKenna stared amazed at Tom. She was hearing his words, but they weren’t really registering. All she could do was to stand there in his arms completely gobsmacked. Tom sighed and chuckled a bit as McKenna’s eyes began to fill up with tears. “Topolina, mi amore” He whispered into her ear before he planted a light kiss on her lips. It was so sweet and soft at first, that McKenna couldn’t fully register what was happening. It was like a dream. Before McKenna could respond properly, Tom had turned the kiss into a dip kiss and all McKenna could do was give in to the desire, which had been ignited deep within her. She clung onto Tom, fully emerged in their shared passion and time stood still for a moment.

Karaoke

Tom picked McKenna up at the agreed time. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him in his formal getup. He was even more handsome than usually. Tom send her a cheeky smile and off they went to the karaoke bar. At first McKenna was a little bit nervous and shy. It had been ages since she had sung without her guitar and for some reason she felt a little uneasy without it. But the uneasiness quickly went away once Tom returned from the bar with a tray filled with different kinds of drinks. A couple sips of liquid courage and McKenna transformed into a popstar.

Tom and McKenna sang till their voices become hoarse. It was freeing and fun. McKenna could feel herself become more and more confident. She smiled at Tom, who was trying and failing in hitting the high notes of their duet. McKenna laughed and quickly took a gulp of her drink.  “I think we need some air after the song” She giggled as Tom finished his part of the song. He nodded eagerly and together they ended the song, closed the concert and bowed before the rest of the barguests. 

Theo’s Day

The pampering went on all morning, first a nice bath followed by a massage and cuddles. Breakfast was served and gobbled up and now it was time for a nice stroll to the park. McKenna loved seeing Theo so happy, he had a cute little pep in his step whenever he had been bathed and snuggled. She still couldn’t believe how lucky she had been to find his little guy. He was made for her! And to think somebody had thrown him out into the cold - McKenna’s heart hurt. Thank God, she had found him when she did or he would have frozen to death.

All of a sudden her mobile rang. McKenna picked it up, it was Tom. His voice sounded dark and manly as he greeted her and McKenna’s heart skipped a beat. “Topolina! What are you doing tonight?” He asked and she had take a deep breath in order to calm herself a little before answering. “Not much. why are you asking?” “Well... put on your best dress Bella, tonight I’m taking you out for some drinks and karaoke”. Tom sounded excited on the phone and McKenna smiled as she bend down to pet Theo, who was wondering why they had stopped in the middle of their walk. “Can’t wait” She responded, “When are you picking me up?”. “Be ready at eight pm, Topolina, and make sure you’ve eaten ‘cause tonight we’re letting our hair down!” McKenna couldn’t help but giggle. they said their goodbye and all the way home she hummed cheerfully. 

Back to Normal Routines

The next couple of days went by without a hitch. McKenna had been a little nervous about meeting Eduardo at work, but he apparently had taken some unpaid time off, which meant McKenna could breath easy for a little bit. She was not ready to face him yet. 

Tom had been a sweetheart and true friend, everyday he calls her or physically checks up on her. Why she ever tried to distance herself from him, was a mystery to her at the moment. He gave her so much renewed energy and a surplus of mental resources. Just seeing his handsome mug could make her whole day and she was becoming more and more dependent on it.

All together things was about to return to a somewhat normal routine again. at least when it came to work and her emotionally complicated relationship with Tom. She needed to figure out what to do with the romantic feelings, that was beginning to grow stronger and stronger. 

Theo had likewise been an angel lately. He had behaved so sweetly and listened to her every command. McKenna had decided to spoil him as a way of saying thank you. But as the budget was tight, she had to DIY a lot of things - such as a spa day. An old tub and a little extra bubbles would have to suffice this time. Theo didn’t seem to mind the low cost version of his pampering. 

Gelato and the Town’s Square

Lunch went smoothly, McKenna enjoyed a delicious pizza topped with fresh basil, pesto and mozzarella, while Tom got some kind of pasta dish with mushrooms and cream sauce. The day had been wonderful, just what McKenna had needed. She had been able to relax and Eduardo had never even popped up in her mind. Probably because she had been too busy admiring Tom’s figure in the sun.

“So... how about we stop for some gelato on our way home?” Tom asked and McKenna agreed. You could never be to stuffed for gelato - apparently you develop an extra stomach for gelato, pizza and Tiramisu once you live in Italy. For a moment she missed her Mom and Dad, It had been too long since she last had seen them or spoken to them. She made a mental memo: Call home. 

Lunch Date

After relaxing at the beach for a couple of hours, hunger was beginning to set in. Tom’s pancakes from this morning could only last so long.

“Wanna grab a bite to eat?” Tom asked while McKenna was grabbing her strawberry sundress from her beach-bag and slowly beginning to gather her things. “Sure, I’m famished. We should have packed some snacks” she replied and together they packed up the rest of their stuff and headed for Tom’s car.  “Dang... I think, I’ve gotten a little sun burned” Tom mumbled while putting the things in the trunk. “You should have reminded me Topolina! Now I won’t be able sleep in my pajamas tonight, it’ll hurt too much” He giggled, smiled and winked at McKenna, who immediately became red in the face as she remembered her daydream about her rubbing sunblock on him. She quickly entered the car trying to hide her blushing mug. Tom just laughed and closed the trunk.  

Relaxation

Morning

I’m so sorry, that it’s been about 2 weeks since my last post. Just when I decide to do better and become more regular with my posts, life becomes a roller-coaster. First off, I’ve managed to land a job - Woop woop - and will be starting the first of December. Which is both exciting and a little scary at the same time, like most new lifechanging events. Oh... and my kitchen renovations have been dragging out, and it’s so annoying being almost at the finish line but still so far away. But if the new time plan hold up, it’ll be done by this week and my home will once again be a real home and not a construction site.

Tom had ended up staying over that night. He had slept on the couch as to not disturb McKenna. She had looked so peaceful as she slept and he was afraid to wake her. She had offered him the spot next to her, before she fell asleep, but he felt it best to sleep on the couch.

McKenna woke up to the smell of pancakes and coffee. She shook her head and looked at clock. Oh no! She was late for work. McKenna jumped up of bed and almost fell over Theo, who was bringing the newspaper. “Sorry, Bud! But I’m really late for work” McKenna ruffled Theos ears and headed towards the bathroom. She quickly washed herself and made herself presentable. McKenna rushed downstairs and almost fell down the last step, as Tom’s voiced surprised her.  “Ah!... Topolina, come enjoy breakfast. Did you sleep well?” McKenna smiled, “Thanks, Tom, but I’m really late for work and I can’t afford loosing my job”. Tom smiled back and shook his head. “No Topolina, I called your workplace and arranged for you to get the next couple of days off. I might have invented a dear old aunt, who suddenly passed away and you needing to go help your family with funeral plans”. McKenna was shocked. “You didn’t!” She exclaimed shocked but couldn’t help but smile to herself.  “Oh yes I did” Tom responded, “Now come eat your pancakes. I’ve got big plans for us today”.
