I’ve been rewatching Malcolm in the Middle and can I just say what a great relationship Hal and Lois have, especially for a family sitcom? They actually love and support each other instead of constantly whining about or mocking the other. An example: when Lois takes dance classes, she thinks she’s doing great, and then she sees video evidence that proves that she is TERRIBLE. Most sitcom husbands would take the opportunity to say something snide, but Hal says unironically that he had no idea Lois was such a beautiful dancer. Or when they were fighting about another potential baby on the way, they got through it by telling each other things that they loved about the other. In conclusion, I love this show
