“How?” The word was breathy, a ghost of an utterance. His eyes darted about, mind working to assess the situation. “I would prefer to kill as few as possible, perhaps none at all, if it can be helped. And if we must kill, it must be done silently.” All it would take was one dying cry to set them swarming towards the two. “Then there comes the matter of not being seen.” Here, he looked towards the other. Oh, Arygos was a strategist, yes– but every good strategist conferred with the others involved.

“How did you get to be soaked in the rain, Nebamun? ”

“And if they ever find out about that man eating thing you took, and they certainly will, both our houses will be docked points, or worse, you’ll be expelled and I suspended!”, with a loud groan he paused in his scrubbing. “You need to get rid of it. Carrying it around with you will only get you caught and keeping it in the dorms is out of the question. I mean how are you even feeding it??”

Gregory listened to Fareed’s ranting with half an ear. All was said already and it appeared his friend was not going to give up the tirade any time soon. A silky shift of scales rippled under his robes and a head popped out of his loose collar with a hiss. “Salazar said don’t call him an ‘it.’ “ The brush is tossed in a bucket of water. “He hunts in the Forbidden Forest.” 

He watches as his friend tosses the brush into the bucket, “Oh no you don’t we’ve still got the toilets and the sinks to do.”

The Pureblood wizard made a face of disgust as his gaze went to the toilets. “I have never cleaned one in my life and I’m not going to start now. The floors were bad enough.” Gregory dragged the bucket of water to the sinks. “I’ll clean these though.”
