[ It seemed Maelys was almost over-confident in her own abilities; the meeting place for new recruits had no guards what-so-ever. It was only her, sitting down at a table in what seemed to be their hideout, crossing her legs, and gesturing for her visitor to sit. A self-assured smile adorned her face before she spoke. ]

[If he was being honest, Bunny wasn’t entirely sure he was all for this idea just yet. He had only been looking around for jobs, and while this certainly had him curious...it didn’t seem like all that great an idea. But hey, checking it out couldn’t hurt.]

Coffee then. 

[Alex hands Bunny the cup of what is apparently coffee, surprisingly ok with Bunny’s vague reply. They rustle around in the basket once again, and pull out a separate container, presumable hot water for tea. He makes the tea. I don’t want to write that out. After sipping on it, he looks up at Bunny again and smiles.]

[After all, the other did seem to be relatively observant. Most of the time, anyway. Maybe not quite as much as Bunny himself, but hey. Not a lot of people were.]

What did you bring with you? Hm?

Honestly. I’m not 100% sure why I like spending time with you so much. You’re absolutely beautiful honestly, but that’s not everything. Every time I talk to you, you say things I wouldn’t expect. And you listen, to everything I say.. Except for sometimes when large quantities of food are involved, but I mean. That makes sense. 

[Alex pours something out of a thermos into a little mug, and tries to make his feelings into words that made more sense.]

I guess, I just really enjoy being around you, hearing your voice and what you have to say, and I just wanna keep being able to do that, to do those things, and be near to you.

[Bunny’s...not really sure how to respond to that. So he doesn’t really say much, as is relatively characteristic of him. In all honesty, Alex almost unnerved him a little bit...he couldn’t quite get a proper understanding of them. They were confusing, to say the least.]

Coffee.

I’d be surprised if it was. With a severe mutation like that, it’d be a surprise if it survived. Though if it did, it could have been the Adam or Eve to a newly evolved species. Hm. That’d be interesting.
