In this study, you will be asked to read an information sheet and provide informed consent. Then, you will be asked to complete some demographic questions, including age, gender and occupation. After the completion of this section, you will be presented with five vignettes corresponding to each of five mental health disorders (Schizophrenia, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Sexual Sadism Disorder, Trichotillomania, Alcohol Addiction Disorder). For each vignette, you will be asked to rate how controllable you perceive each disorder to be, as well as the effectiveness of two types of intervention (pharmacotherapy, art therapy). Finally, you will be debriefed and invited to ask any questions that you have. Note: This study will include descriptions and vignettes based on the aforementioned mental health disorders.
