Incite has been planned since season one. They just havenât been mentioned by name. William has referenced what they do, however:

Essentially, Incite will collect data on you, and then they will use said data to recommend anything from music, to food, to jobs, to the people you date. It takes a lot of the meaning out of life, because youâre just hooked into this⌠game (one that Caleb seems to insist is rigged) and William saw potential in the park, to get away from all of that, within the park. At this point, the park is more real than the âreal worldâ and William says so:
William: âRemember, youâre the one who said this is the only world that matters, and you were right. So I took your advice and I bought this world.â
Dolores: âThis world doesnât belong to you.â
William: âOh, but it does. By a majority share. And business is booming. And you want to know why? Hmm? Because this place feels more real than the real world. Except it isnât because you canât really fight back and the guests canât really lose, which means all of this is a lie. But we can make it true. Donât you want that, Dolores?â
