It's a bit dim here

Nobody has a "get out of jail free" card to cherry-pick who they want to stand up for. Not during Pride, nor ANY other month. "Nooo, but if you were in Palestine as a queer person they would kill youuuu, don't stand up for themmm", yeah okay, let me tell you something very funny about America, babe... The homophobic structures of a country do not erase all of the queer lives and experiences of its people.

Queer palestinians must be very proud of who they are, and every single palestinian - queer or straight, cis or not - have the right to be proud of their heritage, their families, their home, foods, language and culture. Your selective, pink-washed activism cannot take that away.

For queer people in Palestine to be respected by their own government and authorities, there must be, first and foremost, a free Palestine for them to live in. Proudly and peacefully.

For ALL queer people around the world - in Sudan, Congo, Ukraine... - to finally afford their liberty, there must be liberation from the greedy and murderous institutions that hold them down into misery and bloodshed.

Your favourite movie woesnt have to be tue greatest, most perfect, well directed movie ever created. What is the movie that you truly enjoy watching? That one you keep popping on every now and then because even if you watched it a thousand times, you'll never mind watching it just once more. Twice, maybe. Many times more.

I think some of us can't answer those questions because we want to strive for greatness, even in a mundane, PERSONAL question. We just don't make room for our personal likes, only the great stuff we have to share.

My story's named Domesday!

We're talking about a dimension where the characters live in, separated from humans. For the longest time, they did live alongside humans, but thing got a bit ugly after WW1, and thus started a reform in the dimension. Before the 1910s, it was mostly just nature-y, a few temples where they had some ceremonies, but they didn't live there full-time. With souring airs in the interwar period, they decided it was safer to at least have their dimension as a safe zone for them. After WW2 then, they decided it was better for them and for humans if they interacted as little as possible (the n4zis were trying out some experiments on some of them, and Earth was overall becoming a very unhealthy for them for a time). They had noticed it was too risky to interfere with human politics at that time.

They CAN still visit humans, but...Timely process. They need several permits, and they don't really need to have that hassle. Their dimension by now has their own shops, their own currency, they already had their traditions, their own religion even...So aside from politics and events in their assigned country (because, reminder: the characters are country-people, sorta like deities that represent each nation!!), they don't talk to humans very much anymore.

Their dimension has many names, for their many languages, of course! But a general name is Gaeathal. Now, I suck at scenery, I famously don't do backgrounds, so no, I don't have any art of the dimension. But...

Solarpunk-y. Well, it's named GAEAthal for a reason.

Gaea is for Pangaea. And THAT'S their goddess! Of course. Of course the country-people's goddess would be a supercontinent.

Pagaea is believed to have been the first of their kind, even before humans existed. They depict her in a humanoid form, but it's likely she was like a spirit of nature, just guarding Earth in its earlier days. But as the continents as we know them now began to break apart, she "died", but her spirit rested upon a point in the middle of nowhere on Earth, and Gaeathal was formed there. They believe she resides within a tree, at the centre of town, as its a VERY old tree, and has a magical sort of sap in it. They use that sap for loads of things!

But, sure, aside from their own religion, the characters usually also take on their humans' religion too! It's up to them, but back in the day, they were very committed to following it like their humans did. Distance turned that need a bit redundant now.

I'll finish it off there for now, but I have much to share! Like more things about their religion and traditions, special dates, their monetary system, even their own weird anatomy and medicine...Where do I begin, oh boy.

Elizabeth has a nephew, you know!!! This little blob of mischief is Erich, but he's a LOT more grown than shown here (although, of course, he's still his auntie's baby)
