                  ”Appearances can be deceiving; I’ve seen horrors beyond my years.

Twenty. Twenty years- almost, at any rate. Madness kept me company for over a decade, though I can’t say it was ever a welcome guest.”

   A quiet hum, the sound of boots clacking gently against the worn floor; she rocks back and forth on her heels, almost a mockery of her braver self. Almost a poor imitation of what she isn’t.

   She was young indeed. Twenty years old, though her eyes would say she was much older. The side effects of madness, Daniel presumed. His own upbringing, while unpleasant, wasn't entirely too bad he figured. He got to go to Oxford after all and had the chance to be educated. It was the events afterwards when Madness greeted him... And it stuck around until today.

   Her name was quite familiar though. Liddell. She was someone's daughter, he thought to himself.

                                    ❝Liddell, you say?❞

                He bit his lip, pondering at the name,                 knowing he's known someone by the                 name of Liddell.

❝A drink... excellent choice, Ms. Amber.❞

            Wow, well that was stupid of you, Daniel.             What else you're going to spew out, huh?             This was the only job open and it would be             a poor decision to screw it up.
