I feel like religious primary schools shouldn't exist or at least not be as common.

Im not hating on religions by the way! This is just my opinion!
Like, i dont have any trauma or anything from going to one but my earlier years of development where influenced a lot because of all the religious lessons we'd have to sit through.
I thought believing in Christianity was something everyone did and didnt learn otherwise until around year 4.
Then around year 6 was when i started to realise that i dont believe in jesus.
Now i dont believe in religion at all, sure i believe there's a god or something watching us, but not an all knowing being.
Not to mention how i didnt learn that liking the same gender was different until year 5. (Cause yk I grew up with my mother and her gf and thought it was normal✌️🥹)
I still do go to a catholic school by the way.
I do think having religious highschools make more sense because of how youre finding yourself and your own beliefs you know?
My school even let us go on an excursion to other religious groups' churches last year (i know they have different names i just dont know them off the top of my head).
Plus, they arent afraid of talking to us about our sexualities! The teachers even listen if you ask to go by a different name. (Some of them even have ally flag pins on their lanyards!)
If your family is very religious then of course its a different story entirely. But then again thats what services are for! You can take your children in your own time to learn about your family's beliefs! Even teach them yourself if you have too.
Its just the fact that for me it didnt make sense. Since my mother isnt religious, neither is her gf or my dad and his wife. And I was sent to a catholic school without being baptised too. (Still aint baptised and never will be)

At the con I went to, I had bought pins of all the beast cookies and had them on my hoodie.
Whilst wearing them i went to a stall that had a caine key chain I liked so when I went to pay, the woman running it pointed out my pins and asked if I wanted to buy an ancient sticker pack she had.
I folded immediately.
