Cracking open the bedroom door Rebekah turns towards Bellamy with something of an awkward and uncertain look in her eyes. A smile comes to her face and she sinks her teeth into her bottom lip while regarding him. He looks better than he did in his online photos, looks a lot better than the site advertised. Sheād done this for the upcoming holiday where she was going to visit her family and she certainly didnāt want to do it alone. Dodging all those questions, coming up with excuses - at least this way things would be easier. Clearing her throat she gestures him inside. ā This is the bedroom. ā they were already married as per the marriage certificate theyād signed the moment he walked through the door. She felt a little desperate then, a mail order husband, she honestly had to be kidding herself.
Ā well, he hadnāt thought it would work. but here he was standing in her house. his wife. according to court documents now. she wasnāt exactly what he had been expecting. she could get just about any guy to show up at her beck and call if she wanted. but he hasnāt exactly asked too many questions. he didnāt have any complaints when he saw her or coming here. not that he had intended on sticking around too long. after some clearing up after the deportation he had thought that he could be well on his merry way. but she went on about some vacation or something. and he had found himself agreeing. now leaning back against the door post he looks towards her.Ā āwhen are we leaving?ā he asks, cutting the awkward tour of her house short.Ā
@amongthcwreck ~ contād
The kick to his chair jolts him awake and a groan slips past his lips as he tries to regain full consciousness. Only his head is spinning and heās about ready to hurl up whatever the hell heād managed to keep down the night before. He hears someone else shuffling around and he knows it has to be Bell. Birthday weekends usually meant āget entirely shit facedā weekends and Nik enjoyed them. Only now Bell was - a ring? His brows furrow as he opens his eyes to his friend with a bit of confusion. ā What the bloody hell do you mean? ā he demands, glancing around the room to make sure that he wasnāt talking to someone else inside. ā Why the hell would I get you a ring for? ā But somehow inside he knew why.
he moves to stand up. a little shaky and heās still dizzy. the room smells like vomit. he wants to go puke again. but he feels more empty than anything. itās hot. heās still got his jacket on but his shirtās soaked through. and Nik is making the situation even more annoying than it has to be. by - well, probably by just existing. because vegas wasnāt supposed to be a shitty trip. but it looked like it was gearing up to be the worst trip of their lives. he kicks Nikās chair again to drive his point home.Ā āget up. weāre getting a divorce.ā
@amongthcwreck
It takes a moment for him to register where heās at because judging by Bellamyās awful GPS skills they could be halfway to Africa by now and neither of them would know. But eventually he recognizes it. His family mansion and a smile touches to the corners of his lips as he trails his gaze towards his friends.Ā ā This is how weāre celebrating my birthday?Ā ā he questions.Ā ā Only my father is home.Ā ā The rest of his family is off in New York, holiday shopping no doubt. But not his father. No, never him. He stays at home, takes advantage of the maids and revels in his awful humanity.Ā ā Which is precisely why you brought me here. ā
Nik had left home some years ago, treading the line between orphan and runaway. He had met Bellamy in New York, looking for a flatmate. Eventually they got on well enough to consider one another friends but now they were brothers. They had killed together. A couple girls to see how it felt. But there was something more that they needed - purpose. And if this was Bellās idea of purpose Nik was all in.
His smile widens as he gets out of the car, feeling for the knife in the inside pocket of his jacket. He makes his way towards the door, knocks, waits. The girl opens and when he doesnāt answer her questions his father comes to the door. Disheveled, interrupted in the middle of sex no doubt. A grin touches to his lips as he stops him from closing the door on him.Ā
ā Donāt miss your son, father?Ā ā he questions as he brushes his way inside and gestures Bellamy with him.Ā ā Donāt think this is much of a homecoming. Donāt you agree, Bell?Ā ā
the town seemed a bit dull in comparison to new york. he couldnāt blame nik for running away simply for that fact. but he knew his real reasons. so, he had got this idea. it hadnāt been too long ago that they had been talking about going fresh, starting new some where else. but in order to do that you had to kill your past off. take a dive into the dark and never look back. when youāre hurting, youāre burning. and everyone can see and smell you from miles away. when youāre burning youāre afraid. and when youāre afraid you can never let go.
so, heās driven him out to the source of all of nikās fear. mikael didnāt impose but he had a steel to his eyes. something that felt like an ice cold burn. and bell decides he hates the asshole already. if this wasnāt therapy for nik he would have just killed him himself. but he knew what this sort of therapy was like. he knew that it had to be nik.
his relationship with his mom hadnāt been like nikās and his dads. not at all. but it had been as volatile as it had been loving. and he had gotten tired of her yoyo dance between needing him around and her latest boyfriend. some days he swears he didnāt mean to kill her, some nights he swears her latest had just been collateral damage. either way it had given him the taste for killing. and from then on out his whole life had flipped over. it had changed.
so here he was hoping the same thing would happen for nik. kill the dad, kill the fear. and move on. they could do bigger and better things this way. he lets out a small laugh, shaking his head at what nikās dad says. because he canāt believe the bastard didnāt even care that this whole time he had been gone. he deserved to die. out of all the people that they killed he deserved it. it wasnāt just a cheap thrill or a feeling that they needed. he deserved it.
he takes a step forward, half way in the house. āi think thatās unfeeling. and rude. should let us in. how this goes down depends on that.ā

@amongthcwreck ~ because castor deserved better
ā Are you going to tell me what Iām doing here?Ā ā he questions. One moment heād been standing in the closed off wing of the DYAD hospital, the very wing where so many babies had been taken from their mothers. Heād been watching Coady attempt to find a cure for whatever strain was currently roaming the back of his mind. Where Ledaās bodies slowly withered his and his brotherās minds were slowly deteriorating. He wouldnāt survive this and maybe Klaus had accepted it as fact but he didnāt feel that ache of desperation any longer.
Where they were though looked like a kind of safe house. And Bellamy looked entirely out of sorts. Of course Klaus should trust him. They were after all trained under his regime, commanded under his authority and given strength because of him. He had been the one to tell them what they were, to make them conscious. Bellamy had been the one to first write down the first girl Klaus had been with, his hand shaky as he realized the consequence.Ā
THE FUTURE IS FEMALE. It had been the last thing that Klaus had heard before blackness had swallowed his consciousness. Now he felt somewhat drowsy and confused and overwhelmed and there was a touch of fear that sank bone deep. Bellamy wouldnāt hurt him. Where Coady had been the toxic mother Bellamy had stepped into the role of teaching father and Klaus had learned to depend on him no matter what.Ā
ā Iām supposed to be helping them find Leda.Ā ā because grouping them together as one project made the betrayal and desperation so much easier than it actually was.
Ā everyone was always looking for leda. everyone was always doing what they could to either tear down the project or make it thrive. he knew that both options were incredibly dangerous. and while he was in full support of what anyone did to take down these tests Leda had never been his problem. he knew that he wasnāt a good man. that he wasnāt cut out for saving people. he had walked in on project castor fully aware. knowing what it was.Ā
Ā it took some time but his mind had changed. he thought too much, saw too much. the castor boys had only been children when he had been brought on. but they had been treated like no better than animals. unlike leda, who were given families and homes castor were weaponized. trained to kill. soldiers.Ā
Ā he had tried in the very beginning to see them as such. to pretend like when he looked at these kids that they were nothing but a project. but the more time he spent with them, the more he was told to teach them there formed an attachment with all of them. each one of them hung onto him for one reason or another. and he felt it his duty to keep them safe. not to train them to kill as his superiors had told him.Ā
Ā and yet he had failed them all, hadnāt he? he had trained them to be good soldiers, strong, resilient. but now klaus was the last of the boys and that hurt. that was painful. each of them had died, lost their minds or killed in this endless war that the now aware leda clones had waged on their makers. he should hate them for his losses. he wanted to.Ā
Ā ādid they tell you what happens to you once leda is found?ā he asks, sitting across from him. theyāre safe here for now. but he knows that theyāll have to be on the move soon. there was never any hiding from them. but he could try. he knew how to disappear, he knew how to fight back. and he was determined to do exactly that. for Klaus sake, for his brothers sake.Ā āthey would have killed you.ā
@amongthcwreck
ā My brother is cross with me. ā she says with a small smile from where sheās sitting on one of the stools of the kitchen. The mansion had been Nikās idea, he had said that just because the earth was destroyed that didnāt mean they had to live in squalor. The mansion was lovely, not up to par with her own ideals of wealth but it would have to do. It had nice clothes, food and Bellamy seemed far better now that theyāve moved him from that dreary lab. She wonders whether she should tell him about the reason he had yet to be infected by the radiation, she supposes he feels better than he has in a long while, Nikās blood every morning tended to do that she supposes. Taking one of the strawberries into her mouth she faces him all the way and gestures towards the food that had been left for him beside her own. ā So heās gone to - I havenāt a clue as to what heās doing. But that just means you and I can find something else to do - or have a chat. Either Iām alright with. ā
Ā heās never really seen anything like this place before. itās big, spacious. different from the ark or anything else that heās been in since landing on the ground. she seems at ease in it. heās still getting used to it. like heās still getting used to the way he feels. which is a strange kind of good in spite of all the bad thatās happened. most nights he spends wondering if they made out alive, if theyāre okay under the ground. or wondering how he would repay Rebekah and her brother for what they did for him. whatever it was. but he was alive. they were alive. and everything felt new suddenly, strangely new. he watches her eat for a moment before looking down at the bowl before her. meeting her eyes with a small smile he gives a small shake of his head.Ā āseems like you guys are always in a fight.ā he says, but itās the way siblings are, arenāt they? after everything with his sister he figured he was used to it.Ā āwhole world out there. but thereās nothing Iād rather do less than go out there.ā heās been coping or trying to at the very least. heās not sure how good at it heās gotten. but he feels too many cracks.Ā

ā So let me get this right - your mates left you down here to fix a bloody satellite and before you could they took off without you? To fend for yourself in the middle of a nuclear explosion? Ā ā he says it as though heās reading some sort of summary even though he can clearly see that it effects Bellamy standing there in front of him. ā And you still want to find them? ā Ā thereā s a fuzzy picture of the stars on the screen beside Klaus which he glances at briefly before turning back to him. Bellamy is all healed now after heād found him laying there on the ground just before the bombs were set off. Of course Klaus had optioned to leave him but Rebekah with all of her ācan we keep himā Ā pleas made him stop and reconsider. So now after a bit of his blood and some rations in him he looked as new as the dusty world outside looked like night. ā I doubt theyāll hear you from here and besides - ā Turning back to Bellamy now he smiles at him. ā - I think youāre better off. ā
Ā they had saved his life, took him in, gave him some of their food. and now they were here. he wasnāt even sure how he was supposed to thank them. he had told them what happened when he was asked. but now what? he wasnāt sure he could make it out there. while he had survived the first wave it could have been dumb luck. regardless of his gratitude for his life he doesnāt think he really wants to be around here anymore. he wants to try and contact his friends, anyone. there has to be a radio here. and he knows that he canāt ask them another favor. but itās the only thing he wants.Ā ālook, I appreciate you and your sister helping me out, appreciate the advice, too. but I have to get in contact with someone I know.ā and he doesnāt want to take any chances with seeing if heāll make it another time out.Ā
@amongthcwreck
Days start with dreary fog. Itās as though the earth itself knows that someone young, someone so innocent had been taken, stolen of life itself. She constantly hears her mother crying, her father rages and the world itself seems to have stopped in its tracks. Sheās afraid that itāll remain this way forever, her family broken far more than it ever was. Niklaus had taken quite the beating the night before, choosing to sleep in the shed. She had checked on him, tended to his wounds where their mother would not. But then he had sent her home. Back to her husband, back to her child. She had nearly collapsed before she had even gotten all the way inside. Bellamy had been there to catch her, lifting her to sleep and told her to rest. Her sleep had been fitful, tossing and turning and before long Bellamy had given her something to drink. Perhaps something from Ayana to get her to sleep. Eventually she did, dreams laden with thoughts of the past, dreams marked with her brotherās mauled body and NIklausā screams. But now she was awake, shivering with the cold since she had been stripped down to her sleep shift, her eyes adjusting to the dim lighting in their home. Bellamy is awake and heās simply sitting by the hearth, a pensive look on his face. Her mother had sought a union for all her children but with the trouble regarding Tatiaās reputation in the village and Niklaus hardly being a prospect in their fatherās eyes this one was the only one that stuck. The union had been taken nearly two full years ago, a child being produced soon after. It feels like forever ago that she had first called him husband. Unlike the horror stories that she had heard from the other villagers Rebekah found he was something of a decent man in spite of his rough hands, joy over fighting and the look in his eyes when he was asked by her father to join him on raids. He would return and she found herself clinging more and more to him. She did not enjoy being alone. ā How long have I slept? ā she questions softly, not trusting her own voice. And then her eyes shift to her sleeping daughter. A little girl that Rebekah refused to let out of her sight. Next time it will be a boy is what he told her, watching as little Eiraās small hand curled around his finger. A pang of guilt shoots through her when she realizes she had not been watching her daughter when she had been asleep and so she slips off the bed and slowly moves towards her. ā How are you, my darling? ā she softly breathes out, soft caress to the side of the girlās cheek before glancing back at Bellamy over her shoulder. ā Did my mother or father come? ā she doubted it. They did require her presence in several days, is what her mother had told her.
quiet. everything had been quiet since her brotherās death. it seemed as if the whole world had fallen into a shade of gray. had fallen into the darkness that swam wild in rebekahās eyes. he wanted so badly to end the pain. but he doesnāt know where to start. he knows the feeling of lost. his mother had died when he was only a child. yet the pang of losing a sibling is nothing something he knew. he feels heavy, he feels hollowed. thereās a shade of gray over everything.
rebekah canāt sleep properly of late. so he tried to help her. she slept longer with it now. the baby though, misses her in the lull. and although he loves his daughter his hands are not made for nurturing. so when rebekah stirs he doesnāt insist that she go back to sleep. thereās only so long that the two can be away from each other. she loves eira somuch. and that made him love her all the more.
love. itās a strange concept, not a mystery altogether. but something to be awakened. she was beautiful, exceptionally so. and she was good around the household, with a pure love for their daughter. but there was so much more to it than the simple though, something he couldnāt describe. something quiet, like a sweet ache whenever he looked at her.
he reaches his hand out to lightly encircle her wrist, leaning a little towards her now. her mother had come here. she had been urgent, on edge. and it had ignited in worry in him. it wasnāt just grief alive in her eyes when she was asking about rebekah. she wanted her to know that things were already under way. whatever that meant.
āyour mother came. she seemed out of sorts.ā he says, his eyes lowering to the baby. āshe said things were almost complete.ā

he tried to tell himself that, no, she hadnāt just up and left. She hadnāt left a note saying she couldnāt deal with a baby and she hadnāt left a one year old baby girl in her crib without any instruction. He didnāt know what to think other than the fact that he didnāt want to tell himself it had actually happened. She would be back. This was her baby she wouldnāt just up and leave. He wasnāt alone without a single ounce of knowing what to do.
But as the hours ticked by, his little girl drinking her bottle and a dozen phone calls left unanswered, there was only one explanation. She was gone and for good too. She was done and Nik felt a drop in his capacity for feeling.
Finally now that night had whispered its veil across the afternoon sky there was a knock at the door. Scooping his daughter up into his arms he crossed the living room and pulled open the door. Bellamy was standing there on the other side. Best friend since they were in middle school, fellow alcoholic and the only bloke that Nik felt he could trust with something like this. The lack of surprise written across Bellās face made it seem as though it wasnāt a surprise at all.
There wasnāt anything said as he left the doorway for Bell to come on in before he dropped down on the couch Hope nestling immediately against his chest. ā I donāt know what to do. ā is what he finally says once the door clicks shut and Nikās eyes are drawn towards Bellamyās. ā I canāt do this. ā hell everyone would be hard pressed to take the girl from him but he refused to allow that to be an option. ā Please tell me youāve got something for me. ā Bellamy had experience with children, didnāt he?
Ā the phone call was late but not completely unexpected. given who Nik had decided to shack up with it was only Ā a matter of time before things went to shit. Nik sure knew how to pick them is what he always thought. he wasnāt going to tell him that he told him. that would be pretty damned screwed up. so he has to go over there when he asks. not that he really wants to. because Nik sounds like heās got something of a load on his back. and he swore heād help out.Ā
Ā when he gets there Nik looks worn down. a little on the anxious side. but heās cradlingĀ the kid like he wouldnāt let anyone take her from him. he knows that he loves his kid. of course he does. seems like it would be in his nature to really like him. but itās pretty obvious that Nik didnāt think so.Ā
Ā he moves inside and watches them for a moment. lets out a small laugh at what he said. he gives a small shake of his head. heās not even sure where to start. most of the things he did with Octavia had all been touch and go. sometimes he would watch his mom with her, especially on her good days. she had always been good with them, regardless of everything. and he learned. but Nikās asking him for advice and he doesnāt know what to say.Ā
Ā āwell, laying there with her saying you donāt know what to do isnāt going to do any good for either one of you. I could tell you that much.ā he says with a small shake of his head. he moves over to sit down on the coffee table across from the couch. he reaches his hand to touch the babyās hair a little before drawing back.Ā āsheās not dead. so I guess you get a point, right?ā

@amongthcwreck / @seesgood ~ because blorbeson is a thing
It didnāt take him long to take to this kind of life. A world where nothing mattered, where all he could see in Ā the forseeable horizon was miles upon miles of rolling waves and little else. There was no looking over his shoulder or no threats coming from every which way. there was just the peace that came with breathing, with looking up at the sky and feeling a sense of freedom as it swirled around him. He had never tasted actual freedom before and yet he felt it now. Locked up in the crash of the waters around them on this small little island. It lived in the drinks he took down with Bell once whatever work they had was finished. Freedom rested in the blue of her eyes and the smile he got from her every morning. Freedom was the lack of burdens on his shoulders and it felt perfect.
Not to say that there werenāt a million wounds. There were. Caroline had been taken, held for days and there was no way that scars didnāt get created in that amount of time no matter how many times she said she was alright. He didnāt want to press because he knew what trauma looked like, he knew what it was like to hold in years upon years of scars only to have them burst at the seams and take over your entire inside. She would open up when she wanted to. She would take his hands and tell him everything when she was okay again.
Then there was himself and Bell, theyād killed for the first time then. Of course there had been reason enough. She had been taken and wasnāt being released. They couldnāt leave her there, couldnāt leave her fate in the hands of those that said that they would protect her. Where their contact kept he information rolling he and Bell made sure she came back to them safe. Because what were they without her but two disjointed pieces attempting to find a sort of balance in the echo of overwhelming bad decisions and their idea of good ones. With her they burned bright and that was what mattered. She was what mattered.
Taking another breath Klaus tosses the rock heād been holding into the shoreline before he continued off towards their small house. Windows opened everywhere, scent of the beach whispering through every inch of the place and the smell of whatever breakfast was being cooked up inside. ā Cooking without me? ā he announces, amusement lingering in his eyes as he takes up one of the bottles of alcohol from off the counter to fill himself a drink. ā Should I be worried? ā he usually took care of that but for now it was easy enough being alive, good enough being able to look between the two of them after heād downed his drink and feel that touch of relative peace. ā Please tell me thereās a plan for tonight if not thereās a chance I might get bloody bored and neither of you enjoy me when Iām bored. ā
she pretends the nightmares donāt bother her. and they let her get away with it, for the most part. because no matter how badly she sleeps at night, sheās always smiling by morning. dragging whichever one of them frowns less on her excursion of the day. she drags bell to teach her how to surf, klaus to show her how to paint, other mornings itās just walking on the beach or wading in the water. a quiet life, peaceful. weird, considering everything they left behind. but things are different now. settled, but unsettled all at once. sheās seen them kill, seen how their eyes change when their finger squeezes against a trigger, throws a torch at a man covered in gasoline. she pretends it doesnāt bother her. knowing they had to do it for her. knowing theyād do it again. knowing sheās bringing about the ruin of not just one, but two great men.Ā
today, itās cooking. and bellamy is the victim. she wakes up before him, rolls over until sheās nearly lying on top of him, chin resting on his chest as she smiles, brushing away a mussed lock of hair from his forehead. waits until he rouses enough to entertain her. sheās pretty sure he knows his fate the second he opens his eyes to see her grinning. that grin. the one thatās too bright for too early in the morning. she demands pancakes, and bacon and eggs and almost pushes for chocolate chips ā but decides big burly war men arenāt one for chocolate chip pancakes. by the time klaus comes back from whatever it is that klaus does when he makes himself scarce ā sheās sitting with her legs dangling off the edge of the counter, always smiling, watching with interest as the pancake batter slowly rises.Ā
her smile brightens, the same way it always does when both of them are around. it dims slightly when she watches him down the alcohol, and a second after he swallows, sheās slipping off the counter. plucking the bottle from his hand and twirling slightly away to set it back where it came from. she stops back next to bellamy, leaning back against the counter.Ā āi like you when youāre sober.ā she teases. thatās her newest distraction. a failed endeavor to get them to quit drinking. smoking. reminding them that that stuff kills. like they donāt already know. like they havenāt already made an entire business out of it. sheāll fail, she wants to fail, but it doesnāt matter much. just so long as it keeps her mind off things.Ā āi was thinking dancing,ā she suggests brightly, glancing between the two of them with a smile.Ā āor shopping?ā she reaches forward, tugging teasingly at the sleeve of the shirt bellās wearing, ignoring the fact that sheās wearing one she stole from his section of the closet as well.Ā āor scuba diving classes? i saw an ad for scuba diving classes.ā ā- @amongthcwreckā
things were different now. or at least they were supposed to be different, werenāt they? things were supposed to be good, with all that bad shit behind them. they were supposed to be happy. they were supposed to be okay. and it seemed, for the most part, like things were actually working out for them. he wanted to be hopeful. but he was bad when it came to optimism. he did his best to try at it. seemed like he relied on caroline when it came to that. and she relied on them for what? to keep her protected, safe at all costs. failed there. but things are getting better. itās like a mantra he tells himself every morning because sheās there. sheās actually there. they survived it.
so, he doesnāt talk about it. better to stay silent than to bring all of that back to life. they were making something for themselves here. their own little world. and he wanted to hold onto that. nik was always one to build, to create. he admired him for that. wanted to be able to do something that grand. but his hands hadnāt ever been made for building. after the military he felt like he had hit a rut. it was nik who had pulled him out of that, got him in on the business. his best friend, his brother. he always had his back. and he always had his. if it hadnāt been for nik he didnāt think heād make it this long. if it hadnāt been for nik he didnāt think that caroline would have ever gotten saved. he owed his life to him. and he would spend the rest of his life making sure he knew that his loyalty would always be to him first.
this morning, no, this place is supposed to be about pressing restart and doing what they can to make the most of their life together. so far, he wants to say itās been good. caroline looks happy, alight in the ways she hadnāt been directly after everything that had happened. but heās not entirely sure. heās stayed silent on the subject, always digging for distractions. like breakfast this morning or turning her attention to something thatād make her smile. giving into her this morning had been just that, keeping her happy, her mind as far away from it as possible.
he would have asked nik to pour him one had she not taken it from his hand. they all had their ways of coping. he tended to favor nikās. drinking made you forget, loosened the tension. but now sheās talking about doing something. and thatās the distraction thatās needed. how long can they live off of those? heās not sure. but he guesses they will eventually find out. āi hate dancing. nik spends too much money. and what if we got lost in the ocean. those are terrible ideas.ā but heās laughing already, half way through it. plating up the rest of the food. he turns to look at nik. āas long as itās not all three. i canāt handle all three.ā

He can remember every detail of the last night heād been in New Orleans. The fear, the rising worry that his life had thus ended. His father had fallen upon the city and now he knew that Marcel had conjured the plan in order to take the city for himself. The betrayal had been sharp, twisting like a blade at the center of his chest. His son, his ward, his right hand man - none of it had mattered because Marcel had seen fit to usurp him and with Mikael no less. Klaus would return to his city, he would take back his crown and he would rule again. But he needed more power. He needed to prove that he was the one that should be followed.
He needed his hybrids. He needed to break this bloody curse.
Finding Bellamy on the terrace of their sprawling villa here in Venice he clears his throat to break the silence even though he knew Bellamy sensed him coming. ā Sheāll be here tomorrow night. ā he tells him. The witch that Klaus had found would help break the curse, they had the doppelganger downstairs, alive, and screaming to be let out. ā You will have what I promised you. You believe that, donāt you? ā
tomorrow night. and he wondered how long after that it would take for him to give him what he had promised. becoming a hybrid. it seemed unreal, it seemed like some sort of dream that wasnāt ever going to happen. but here it is. here it is waiting for him. and heās on edge. he trusts klaus. which is a strange feeling. he so rarely trusts anyone. but who else was there? who else was there for him to put any faith into? he had gone to new orleans to see the myth of the klaus mikaelson and he had gotten more than he had expected.Ā
he looks at him now for a long moment, eyeing him. klaus mikaelson didnāt know what it was to be a wolf, he hadnāt ever really lived completely as he was meant to be. but here he is willing to be that it was going to be better than what he already had. anything would be better than being ruled by the full moon, would it not? even having that part of himself be what his kind were sworn to hate. klaus could bring a calming sense of symmetry.Ā
āI believe in you, klaus.ā he says it quietly with a small nod of his head. and he hopes thatās what he wants to hear.

It takes a moment for her to realize she isnāt alone and when she does she isnāt expecting him. Of course things between Bellamy and herself were touch and go. One minute she felt like sinking her fangs into his neck and the next she wanted to bury herself against him to escape every single feeling thatās been bleeding her dry. Guilt. Anger. Betrayal. All of it was apart of her, inside of her. Marcel had betrayed her and now she was alone and harboring a secret that might unravel everything theyād built here.
Venice had become a home, not quite New Orleans, but a home nonetheless. While Nik was meeting with his witch Rebekah suspects he ordered Bellamy to keep an eye on her. Sighing she brings her drink to her lips, stain of red on the rim before her eyes find his darker one. ā Itās a full moon soon. ā she tells him as though he didnāt already know. ā Does it make you want to rip someone apart because I could do with a bit of a hunt. ā
Ā everything took a strange turn when he had joined two originals on some sort of adventure. he hadnāt been sure where it would take him. he wouldnāt have guessed italy. he wouldnāt have guessed that he would be standing right here waiting for klaus mikaelsonās curse to be broken. and after that? what then? the possibilities were endless. and he felt a sudden surge of something inside of him. a need to stick around and find out what exactly it was that was promised him.Ā
Ā a full moon. no more turning. klaus had something something about that. and that urged him forward, made him a little needy for it. he had been forced to transition since he was 13 years old. one last full moon if they were right about it. one last. but who knows if klaus would keep his word? he gives rebekah a glance. sheās right, it does. it burns wild through him, that need to tear into something. to taste flesh and blood, to cause destruction and to rip apart.Ā āwe can go out.ā he says it quietly, looking at his uneven grip on the glass in his hand.Ā āshould start now. you wouldnāt to be there when it starts to come out.ā
