“You’re about as cooperative a patient,” she grunted, threading her needle. “But given that you’re lacking in scales and unlikely to bite my head off, I think I can handle it.”

“I could bite,” he purred. Shirayuki focused on her stitching, feeling her cheeks heat in spite of herself.

Summary:

Obsessed with teaching his victims the value of life, a deranged, sadistic serial killer known to the public as the Jigsaw killer abducts the morally wayward. Once captured, they must face impossible choices in a horrific game of survival. The victims must fight to win their lives back or die trying.

The latest victims of Jigsaw’s games awaken: two strangers named Mikaela Shindou and Yuuichirou Amane. While chained on opposite corners of a filthy bathroom, neither knows how they came to this awful predicament, nor what might await them.

But the dead man lying on the floor between them in a pool of his own blood might be a clue.
