Their time of odd peace had been cut short again by the appearance of someone. Normally, Mami wouldn’t have cared one way or another – but when it just happened this one was up all on her face about taking Mitakihara and what not, she was brought back to the same days where she had the same ruckus with their variant of Kyoko. Of course, she was gone and now they had to deal with this other alternate that was already making an annoying entrance.
She had talked with Sayaka after that conflicting encounter later. The timetraveler herself didn’t have to state with words that she would watch for now to measure what kind of solution should be applied to this situation. Mami didn’t say anything on it, somewhere in the anger she understood. She didn’t hold anything against Sayaka for it though this was the same kind of thing that got them on conflicting sides a long time ago.
But those days were gone. She was only extremely annoyed, and worried for Madoka too.
She heard the knock of the door immediately, setting down the warm cup of tea she had prepared to relax. “Coming.” She called out before getting up. Caution laced her movement as she slowly unlocked and opened the door in the case that Sakura Kyoko had decided to come over and give her a little surprise.

“Of course, Kaname-san. Make yourself at home as per usual, alright?” She stepped aside and gave a faint smile. “Would you like tea while we talk? You got here right at the perfect time for it, I made some for myself only a few minutes ago.”
Despite the warmth of her friend and mentor’s call, Madoka hesitates as the lock starts sliding open. Slowly...much too slowly, almost as though Mami was hesitant to see her visitor. For a moment, the thought that Mami may not even want to see her right now crosses her mind -- she had been furious yesterday, so maybe she just wanted to take some time to herself to calm down and relax an--
Ah. The door’s already open, and she can see the tension leaving the blonde’s jaw, taking a small breath of her own. Mami had been dreading a visit from someone else.
That girl...? ...Did they know each other before...?
“I-I, ah... Okay.” Blinking at the offer, she bows, just a little, before gingerly stepping into the apartment, taking her shoes off immediately and putting her fingertips together.
“Some tea sounds really good right now...i-if you don’t mind. It looks like I got here just at the right time, then...?”
