I've been a fan of this guy since 2004, so that's saying something.

Then saw it was AI generated.

I have seen too much of this that, while it hasn't affected me yet, I hope to shine some light on it.

If you are going to post a fan art that is not your own, PLEASE CREDIT THE ORIGINAL ARTIST.

I'm part of one Facebook group that is Sandman related, and one person keeps posting art without crediting. I see they crop out (or find work already cropped) the signature entirely out.

I am making it my duty whenever I catch it, I call them out with: Who is the artist? Please include their name so they can get some credit.

This isn't what I would call "Karen Behavior", it's called being a decent person who credits the rightful person who spent their own time, energy, and money on a specific gift they want to share.

I do see it's specifically with artwork, but there's plenty out there for other media as well!

There is a reason why I put my signatures where they are. It's harder to crop it out in it’s entirety or alter it without it looking weird.

Don't be that jerk posting without proper credit.

Can I just say that I ADORE the way you portray Morpheus! I am simply in love with your art of him and was wondering if you'd be willing to do a comission for me?

There is so little art of my OTP Dream x Lucienne out there that I am willing to pay for a glimpse of them portrayed as a couple.

Dream crouches down elegantly. He’s all limbs, in his skinny jeans and oversized dinosaur-print cardigan.

I really love how @softest-punk writes all these modern AUs. They get me every time. And every time, I get inspired.
