Thor isn’t sure what his daughter means by that, but he just nods his head. He decides to track down Daniel later to ask him what this bdsm is. If it was a boys conversation then he’s already concerned, mind wandering as to what it could mean. “I shall ask young Daniel then! I hope he will be delighted to tell me all about this bdsm.” He says with a smile, and drops the subject as he places a hand on his hip. “Nonsense we will have plenty to discuss. Especially since she has not seen you all in so long. I have saved many worlds, which one should we discuss?”

Blake didn’t know what to think as he saw how everyone around him was acting. He heard talks of people losing their powers and others gaining so first thing he did was test if he was affected. Snapping his fingers he was able to create a small current so it didn’t seem like he was different. He went up to the first person he saw to know more about what was going on, “Hey listen, you wouldn’t happen to know what’s going on right?”

“I know I wasn’t ready to start classes but somebody releasing an airborne gas is not the way to deal with it…..”Rhi said,scrunching her nose as she looked around.”Are you okay or feeling sick? I feel normalish.”She checked around but nothing looked super bad yet. 

“this does seem a rather excessive way in which to avoid the start of term.” eleni knew, of course, that the rain cloud above her head and the loss of her strength ( along with the rest of what was happening at the school ) wasn’t the result of a frustrated student. but still. it’d be easier to deal with if it was. “i’ve been worse, rhiannon.” she cast a glance up to the small, perfectly formed cloud above her, catching raindrops in her eyelashes and blinking, furiously, to rid herself of them before she could turn her gaze back to her half-sister. “normalish? is the -ish good or bad?”

“I trust your judgment.” Thor says as he feels that if his daughter doesn’t think he would want to know then he probably doesn’t. He can’t help but to wonder what it is though, but he’s not going to pry. If he’s meant to learn about it then eventually he will. What he does know is that there are some subjects you aren’t supposed to have with your children. “Yeah? It would be lovely to see her. I know she would be happy to see you too. I can extend the invitation to her, and you to your siblings. We can have this planned so quickly, I am proud of us.”

Whenever Thor looks at Eleni of course there’s pride in his eyes. He’ll always be proud when he sees how much she has grown up, accomplished, and continues to put her mind to. She was brilliant, and he smiles as they talk. “Explain what now?” He asks when she doesn’t explain what it is, but perhaps it wasn’t something she wished to share with him. Which wouldn’t upset him, he was sure there’s a reason for it. The conversation shifts though, and he focuses on that instead. “Oh I do love that. The four of us can get together for dinner. What about that? Maybe I can get convince my mother to come as well.”

In all honesty, Daniel had grown to regret his decision to report his upstairs neighbors- what he had assumed would be a simple problem, was turning out to be anything but. And worst of all, he could see that it was causing Eleni a lot of unnecessary stress. “Thanks,” he responded, offering up a small smile as he furrowed his eyebrows together. “I’ve got a pair of noise canceling headphones that should do the trick,” he answered with a small laugh, in an effort to reassure his sister that he’d be fine. “But- I’ve got to a say that under any other circumstances, a sleep over would be wonderful,” he added with a laugh. He meant it too, he relished any chance he got to spend time with his sister. 

                   it’s a smirk hidden behind raised glass - inconspicuous clear liquid almost spilling out of lipstick smudged rim.          the first movement out of the thin lidded, tight lipped look she always sports. maybe it’s to keep other people at bay, but more accurately it’s just her resting face / which is the default hung over face.                she pulls the shades higher up over her eyes / she’s squinting because of the light - it’s a borderline glare as a defence against the sun - only slightly remedied by the shades.    except, with the shades, she looks way more like she was covering up a hang over. which would be accurate, but it just doesn’t stick with her aesthetic.

             ‘ uhuh, that’s a lot of mental and verbal gymnastics to tell me you don’t think i look that mean.’   her laugh comes out as a snort.   ‘ honesty is the best policy.   tell me. do i look like i want to kill that boy screeching down the hall ? ‘ because, she actually does.      

“fish are just so kissable,” came his almost defensive response – really playing up the whole seafood kissing aspect. “have you seen their lips?” oh, how he almost wanted her to argue. one question about how crabs are nothing like fish, lacking in any and all lip-esque parts, it would send him into a fit. “at the end of the day, she,“ his imaginary ex-girl, “left me for a crab, so customs should be least of our worries.”

There wasn’t a single day that went by where Thor doesn’t miss his children, and he does try to spend as much time with all of them that he can. Diana was an amazing mother, there was no doubting that, he was always in awe of that woman. “Well good because that just means you will get more hugs then.” He answers with his same sappy grin on his face. Perhaps the two of them would be cheesy according what the midgardians would say, but Thor had never cared much for what others think. “I do think I will stick to my usual words. Those ones are now banned from my vocabulary unless it is somehow important.” He nods at that, chuckling also. “We do not want Daniel to die.”

“are you? are you really?” he questioned with narrowed eyes. “because that does not read like sorry, eleni,” he added, mentioning to the woman’s face with a circling gesture of his finger. his demeanor cracked not long after, though, a smile taking over. “that’s just rude. that sort of thing is our livelihood. we need it,” he complained playfully. “what can i say? this time i can’t fight logic. a truly sad day.”

“Hey man, I didn’t name the ghost,” he counters, almost whines. He knows Steve isn’t the scariest name, but hey, it wasn’t his original ghost story, now was it? Sure, he could embellish, change it up, but he’d be afraid of messing it up, really.

“Now, where was I?” Xavier pauses, gathers his thoughts for a moment. “That’s when the ouija board spelt out the spirit’s name: S… T…. E…V….E. Steve? But that was the older man who had died months ago,’ they all thought,” Xavier continues, voice dropping to match the atmosphere around the bonfire.

“whoever did name him didn’t try NEARLY hard enough to be scary.” she didn’t feel nearly as sorry as she should have, for interrupting. some things just HAD to be said, and she wouldn’t have been able to focus properly if she hadn’t pointed out how far from intimidating the name was. now she’d done so - smile huge - she leant forward a little with her elbows resting atop her knees, paying a little more attention than she had been to the story, even going so far as to play along ( even if she wasn’t as sold as she should’ve been on it ), “and then what happened? they all died, right?" or, well... she TRIED to play along. eleni hadn’t gotten it down, yet.

“You could say that,” Xavier agrees, rolling his shoulders to release the tension building in them. In reality, he hadn’t been able to sleep at all, uncommonly wound up and tense. Failing all else, one solution remained: Change, and tire himself out. But the Wolf hadn’t tired, instead tearing through the trees, hunting and reveling in his freedom. Xavier had awoken more exhausted than he’d begun, and now he wanted nothing more than a fix of coffee. “Sleep wasn’t my friend last night. But coffee, ah, coffee will always be there for me.”

“just one of those nights, or...?” she didn’t want to pry - even if she already sort of was. but it was eleni’s nature to try and help, or at least make it known that she was there to, and if he had a noisy neighbour or broken air conditioning, she felt it was her responsibility to try and aid him. hell - if she knew the truth of the situation, she probably STILL would have tried to help him out. “i can’t condone your idea, but, i’ll gladly grab you a cup from the vendor if you’d like?”
