Honestly, I’ve never seen this pallor of depression and unhappiness in the community in all the 6 years I’ve been into BJDs. Companies closing left right centre, even Volks —where everything started — isn’t doing well. People afraid of buying secondhand, of sharing information, of helping each other.

I actually own a soom recast and once I found out he was recast I never took a picture of him or took him out of the house and feel really terrible for owning him. not to mention that I paid what a real one would cost and got a bootleg. I am pretty much out of the hobby now and I feel like just owning him makes all of my other dolls suspect and like I can't sell them now.
