The balls of your feet have been aching since you started your shift but in the last hour, the ache has morphed into a burn. Pins and needles are shooting up your spine as you stretch over your patient's stitches.
"Scissors," you call out, a millisecond later the tool you asked for is placed into your gloved hand, the blades of the tool glinting under your headlamp. Finishing your last corner stitch, the tension in your arms and shoulders finally release with the breath that you let out. You thank your team for their work and ask for one of the residents on the case to update the family. Normally, this is a task you like to take care of but with how today went, all you want is the comfort of your bed.
Tossing your scrubs in the designated bin, you opt to forego a shower in fear that you'll fall sleep and bear the humiliation of a fellow attending finding you. As you make your way out of the double doors, you swipe to your conversation with your boyfriend, Seungcheol. The last time you texted was 8 hours ago, right before you were supposed to go home.
Got pulled into emergency surgery :(( Might be a while, don't wait up. Sorry I couldn't welcome you home.
S'okay baby, the guys all wanna grab drinks dinner anyways.
At least I'll wake up to your gorgeous face tomorrow.
You know I look like a zombie in the morning…
Have fun with the boys! Drink water when you get home!
Seungcheol had just wrapped a tour and was on his way home. Today was supposed to be an easy day — rounds, 2 consultations, and a laminectomy. All of that you could do in your sleep. But then one of your consultations turned into a terminal diagnosis and your minimally invasive laminectomy converted to open back surgery. Even with those two hiccups, you were still set to get home before he was. As you were about to leave, the head nurse of your unit called out that an emergency surgery was coming up in the next ten.
You're about to wave him off and tell him that it should be for the on-call surgeon, but he cut you off telling you that Dr. Na was already in another surgery. And that's how you ended up treating a GSW to the neck that leaves you unable to celebrate your boyfriend's homecoming.
You send him a quick message saying you'd be home in the next 20 to see if he was still up. Sighing, your thumb hovers over the call icon. He's likely already asleep —either jetlagged, drunk, or both. Choosing not to bother him, your phone gets shoved into your back pocket and you fish your car keys out of your bag. Entering the third floor of the parking garage, you click the unlock button, but you don't hear the familiar beep of your car.
A frown makes it's way on your face before you click the button again, believing that you must have imagined not hearing your car. But when you press it again, there's still no sound. Looking up, you don't see your car in it's normal spot.
"Fucking great," you mutter out.
Who the fuck steal's a doctor's car?! (Lots of people probably, you're a world class surgeon). Wildly annoyed, you fish your phone out your pocket to call a taxi, you'll be damned if you wake up your boyfriend to come get you. Realizing the spotty service you have in the garage, you make your way out to the street to hail for a ride home. Exiting the garage, you're expecting an empty street, but what greets you is your very handsome, very famous boyfriend leaning against his cherry red sports car.
He's wearing a mask, but nothing can hide the smile in his eyes when he makes eye contact with you.
"Cheol? W-what are you—" He cuts you off when he wraps you in a hug and lifts you off your feet. Whispering iterations of "I missed you" and "I love you" as he peppers kisses all over your face. Urging him to let you down, you ask what he's doing here.
"Picking you up silly! Oh!" He turns around and steps back to grab something from the car and he returns with a bouquet of deep red roses.
"I know these aren't your favorite flowers, but this was what I could find this late." You take them hesistantly and thank him. Another gentle peck and he gently guides you towards the car, his hand on the small of your back as he opens the car door for you. While you wait for him to go around to the driver's side, your mind is racing a mile a minute. You're still trying to figure out what to do about your car, you've barely recovered from work, and you're in absolute shock that your boyfriend decided to come and pick you up.
When he finally gets into the car, he immediately senses the alarm bells in your head. Gently placing his hand on your cheek, he turns your fave towards him.
"What's goin' on in that pretty lil head of yours?"
"Cheol, I'm really happy to see you, I really am…" Your pause isn't for dramatic effect, it's to try and unscramble the word soup that is floating where your brain should be.
"But?"
You spill into how exhausting work had become and your words are coming out of your mouth faster than your brain can process. Before you know it, you're freaking out about the fact that you think your car was either stolen or towed. He has to squeeze your shoulders to remind you to breathe.
"Your car is fine love, don't worry about it," he says as he rubs circles into your very tense, very raised shoulders.
"How can you say that?! You don't know that! Cheol I can't think str—"
"Baby, your car is fine. And I know because I took it home."
You look at Cheol like he had grown two heads. He sighs dejectedly and revs the car to life, the vibrations making you jump a bit. You're not quite sure by what your boyfriend means but before you can ask another question, he places a kiss to your cheek and tells you to wait for when you get home. Sure enough, when you get home your car is sitting in the driveway, looking just how it did when you parked it in the hospital's garage earlier in the day.
Seungcheol is basically guiding you out of the car and into your shared home. As he opens the door, he looks at you sheepishly.
"This was supposed to be a surprise but I can feel the frantic energy off you and that is the last thing you need," he warmly whispers against your ear. You peer into your apartment and it's covered in rose petals and bags as far as the eye can see. Guiding you inside, like he has been the entire time, your breath is caught in your throat.
"Cheol…" He shushes you by turning you to him and placing a kiss on your lips.
"I know. You're gonna say this is too much, unfortunately for you I don't believe in such a thing," he says as he jerks his head towards the plethora of gifts that litter your living room. He spins you back around towards the gifts and encourages you to start opening. Knowing that he's just as stubborn as you are, you comply. As you move towards them, he begins explaining how this situation even came about.
He confesses that he'd been planning this since the time you came to one of the stops of the tour. Luck seemed to go his way when their flight back into South Korea got in earlier than expected. It showed up for him again when he remembered that there was a spare key to your car inside his and once that fact came to light, he had Mingyu drive him over to the hospital. Jokingly he says that had you not been pulled in every direction during work, this plan likely would not have worked.
With each gift you open, you are finding it harder and harder to keep the tears in your eyes at bay. Although you aren't the biggest fan of your boyfriend spending exorbitant amounts of money on you, you have to give him credit. He always spoils you with things that you always want. Even things that you've only ever mentioned in passing. You point this out when you're unwrapping one of the boxes and you recognize the branded wrapping paper.
"Choi Seungcheol, you didn't!" You gasp as you pull out the limited edition bracelet from under the paper. You try to wrap your mind around the fact that you had only talked about this bracelet once and it was to whine about the fact that you had missed the deadline to pre-order it before it sold out. He pinches your side softly for using his full name but kisses your shoulder after you tell him how much you love it.
"And that's exactly why I'll spend every cent on you. The way your smile feels is a high I'll chase to the ends of the earth."

Synopsis- At three in the morning, the world feels a little quieter. For you, it’s the only time you can escape the exhaustion of your job and the expectations that come with the day. For him, it’s the only time he gets to exist without being watched.
Word Count- 3k
Playlist- Plastic Palm Trees(Tate McRae)
The world was a bitch.
A bitch that poked, nagged, and worked new hires to the point where they could collapse from pure exhaustion.
It was around 2:40 AM when you finally looked up from your computer, only to be met with the sight of an office that was completely deserted and almost pitch black. Everyone had gone home hours ago, but for some ungodly reason, you—the new hire of only two weeks—had been left with the workload of three managers and a deadline that could honestly be considered workplace harassment.
You leaned back in your chair, letting your muscles finally relax after hours of being forced into the same uncomfortable position. Even then, they continued to scream in protest from the sheer physical strain they had been under.
Slowly, you stood from your desk and dragged yourself toward the break room, remembering the lunch you had brought with you that morning. A lunch you had packed with the foolish thought that you would actually have time to eat at some point during the day.
Your stomach ached with hunger, but even it seemed too exhausted to complain anymore.
Something else that should be mentioned was that the majority of your office—despite working for a high-end company that paid fairly well—were somehow the biggest group of cheapskates to ever grace an office building.
Which, of course, included the mysterious disappearance of anything remotely edible if you left it unattended.
And unfortunately, by the time that thought crossed your mind, it was already too late.
Your lunch was gone.
Along with whatever small amount of sanity you had left.
“Oh my god… this is it. This is where I die,” you whispered dramatically to yourself as you made your way back to your desk, grabbing your things and preparing to finally leave in a fit of anger.
The amount of rage running through your bloodstream was almost impressive. You were so annoyed that you barely even registered where your feet were taking you until you found yourself standing outside a convenience store at 3 AM, a few blocks away from your apartment.
The bright artificial lights of the store burned your tired eyes, almost as if they were mocking you.
You couldn’t even remember why you had come here in the first place.
Seriously, you should be at home sleeping. Resting. Recovering before waking up and doing the exact same thing all over again—only to get ignored when you asked if anyone knew where the stapler was.
You covered your face with your hands and let out a long, defeated sigh.
“What am I doing with my life?” you questioned out loud, staring at the glowing store in front of you.
You stared at the convenience store for a few more seconds, debating whether going inside was even worth it. The rational part of your brain reminded you that you had work in a few hours and that standing outside a convenience store at three in the morning while having an existential crisis probably wasn’t the healthiest use of your already limited sleep schedule.
But the louder part of your brain—the one that had just worked a fourteen-hour shift, survived purely on caffeine, and lost the only thing keeping it alive —won.
With a tired sigh, you pushed open the glass doors.
The small bell above the entrance chimed, and the warmth from inside immediately hit you. It wasn’t anything special, but after spending hours under the cold, lifeless office lights, the soft glow of the convenience store almost felt comforting. It was simple. Quiet. Normal. Something your day had been missing.
You dragged yourself toward the instant noodles, staring blankly at the options in front of you like choosing between different flavors was somehow the most difficult decision you had ever faced.
“You look like you’re about to fight the ramen section.”
The sudden voice made you freeze.
You turned around to see a guy standing a few feet away, a drink in one hand and a small look of amusement on his face. He had a hoodie pulled over his head, covering most of his face, but you could still see the tired expression in his eyes.
You blinked.
“Sorry?”
He gestured toward the shelves.
“You’ve been staring at those noodles for like five minutes.”
You glanced back at the noodles.
Then back at him.
Then back at the noodles again.
“Wow.”
You placed a hand over your chest dramatically.
“Not only am I sleep deprived, but now I’m being judged by a stranger at a convenience store.”
The corner of his mouth lifted slightly.
“I didn’t say anything about judging.”
“Your eyes did.”
“My eyes?”
“Yes.”
He looked genuinely confused.
“That’s impressive.”
You narrowed your eyes at him.
“Are you making fun of me?”
“Maybe a little.”
For some reason, that made you laugh.
A real laugh.
The first one you’d had all day.
The guy looked slightly surprised, like he hadn’t expected to actually get one out of you. Maybe he wasn’t used to people laughing at his jokes, or maybe he just didn’t expect someone as exhausted as you to still have the energy to.
After a moment, his expression softened.
“You okay though?”
The question caught you off guard.
Not because someone asked.
Because nobody had.
Not your coworkers. Not your manager. Not even yourself.
You opened your mouth, ready to give the automatic response. The easy one everyone used when they didn’t want to explain how they were really feeling.
I’m fine.
But for some reason, under the bright lights of a random convenience store at three in the morning, you couldn’t bring yourself to lie.
“No.”
Your voice came out quieter than expected.
“No, actually. I’m really not.”
His expression changed slightly, becoming softer.
You immediately looked away, suddenly embarrassed.
“Sorry. I don’t know why I said that. I don’t usually trauma dump on random strangers.”
“You didn’t.”
He shrugged casually.
“Sometimes it’s easier to tell someone you’ll never see again.”
You looked back at him.
“Are you speaking from experience?”
There was a pause.
Then he nodded.
“Maybe.”
The two of you stood there in comfortable silence, and somehow, for the first time all day, the silence didn’t feel heavy.
It felt peaceful.
A few minutes later, you found yourself sitting outside the store with a cup of ramen between your hands, the steam slowly disappearing into the cold night air. You didn’t even remember agreeing to sit with him. It just happened naturally, like the universe had decided you both needed a moment away from everything else.
“So,” he said, leaning back slightly. “Do you always come here at three in the morning?”
You looked at him.
“Are you asking because you’re judging me?”
“No.”
“Because you’re here too.”
That made him laugh softly.
“Fair.”
You smiled slightly.
“I guess we’re both losers who can’t sleep.”
He looked down at his drink.
“Maybe.”
The two of you didn’t exchange much personal information that night. Not names. Not jobs. Not anything that could make things complicated.
Just small things.
Favourite snacks.
Songs you hated.
Things that annoyed you.
Random thoughts that only made sense at three in the morning.
And somehow, it was enough.
When you finally stood up to leave, you realized you felt lighter.
Not fixed.
Just lighter.
The guy watched as you grabbed your bag.
“See you tomorrow?”
The question slipped out before he could stop it.
You smiled.
“Are you saying you want to see me again?”
He immediately looked away.
“No.”
A small pause.
“Maybe.”
You laughed.
“See you tomorrow.”
And you did.
Every night.
-
It became a routine.
Three in the morning.
The same convenience store.
The same little table outside.
The same two people pretending they weren’t waiting for each other.
You learned little things about him.
That he liked quiet places.
That he worked late.
That he loved music.
That he hated talking about himself.
You never asked too much.
And he never offered.
It was strange.
You had known him for months, but you didn’t even know his full name. You didn’t know what he actually did, why his schedule was always so unpredictable, or why he sometimes disappeared for days without explanation.
You just knew that when three in the morning came around, you looked forward to seeing him.
Until one night, you waited.
And waited.
The clock on your phone changed from 3:15 to 3:30.
Then 4:00.
The convenience store lights stayed on, glowing the same way they always did. The doors opened and closed. People came and went.
But he never walked through them.
You told yourself he was probably busy.
Or tired.
Or maybe something had come up.
So you came back the next night.
And the next.
And the next.
Each time convincing yourself it would be different. That eventually he would show up with that same tired expression and a drink in his hand, acting like he hadn’t made you worry.
But he didn’t.
The seat across from you stayed empty.
Slowly, you stopped looking at the door every time the bell rang.
You stopped checking the time.
You stopped buying two drinks.
Until one day, you realized you had finally stopped waiting.
And somehow, that hurt more than you expected.
-
The first thing he noticed was the silence.
Not the peaceful kind, but the kind that felt heavy. The kind that only existed after everyone had left the studio and the only sound filling the room was the quiet hum of the computers still running. He stared at the screen in front of him, the same eight lines of lyrics sitting unfinished for the past hour while the melody played softly through his headphones. It was good, at least he thought it was, but something about it felt incomplete. Like there was a missing piece he couldn’t find.
He leaned back in his chair, rubbing his tired eyes as he looked around the empty studio.
Everyone else had gone home hours ago. The other members had tried convincing him to leave too, telling him he was going to sleep in the studio again and that it wasn’t healthy. He remembered laughing it off, pretending it didn’t bother him, but the truth was that sometimes he didn’t even realize how late he stayed until everyone else was gone.
Everyone knew he worked late because he cared about music. They knew he pushed himself because he wanted everything to be perfect. They knew the version of him that stood on stage under bright lights and performed in front of thousands of people.
But knowing someone and understanding someone were two completely different things. Sometimes, after the lights turned off and the cheers faded, he was just tired. Not physically, but in a way that sleep couldn’t fix.
His eyes returned to the lyrics on his screen, and he almost laughed when he realized what he had been writing. A love song. He hadn’t even noticed it at first. He had started with a simple idea—a late night, a quiet place, someone who made the world feel less overwhelming—and somehow it had turned into something else entirely.
He eventually closed his laptop and grabbed his things, deciding that staying any longer wouldn’t help. His phone buzzed beside him with another reminder about tomorrow’s schedule, another recording, another meeting, another thing he needed to do. His life was planned down to the minute, and sometimes he wondered if there was any part of it that belonged only to him.
Instead of going straight home, his feet carried him somewhere else.
A convenience store.
Three in the morning.
He didn’t know why he came there. Maybe it was because it was the only place still awake with him. Maybe because nobody looked at him twice. Here, he wasn’t an idol, a producer, or someone people expected things from. He was just a tired guy buying a drink in a store that was too bright for the middle of the night.
The bell above the door rang as he entered, and that was when he saw you.
You were standing in front of the instant noodles, staring at the shelves with the most exhausted expression he had ever seen. It looked like you were having a serious argument with them, and for some reason, it made him smile.
Before he could stop himself, he spoke.
“You look like you’re about to fight the ramen section.”
You turned around, clearly caught off guard. “Sorry?”
He pointed toward the shelves. “You’ve been staring at them for a while.”
Your expression immediately changed. “You were watching me?”
He froze slightly.
“Wow,” you said, placing a hand over your chest dramatically. “Not only am I having the worst day of my life, but now I’m being judged by a stranger at a convenience store.”
He stared at you for a second before laughing quietly. He didn’t expect you to be funny. He didn’t expect you to make him laugh at all.
“I wasn’t judging.”
“Your eyes were.”
“My eyes?”
“Yes.”
He tilted his head, genuinely confused. “That’s impressive.”
“Are you making fun of me?”
“Maybe a little.”
He expected you to be offended, but instead you laughed. And something about that sound stayed with him.
Later, when the two of you sat outside the store eating ramen, he realized something strange. He didn’t feel completely exhausted anymore. The stress was still there, the schedules and expectations still existed, but for a little while, they felt far away.
You didn’t ask him questions he didn’t want to answer. You didn’t ask about his life or why he was awake at three in the morning. You just talked. About your awful day, your missing lunch, your coworkers, and all the little things that somehow felt important in the quiet of the night.
When you finally stood up to leave, he found himself asking without thinking, “See you tomorrow?”
The words slipped out before he could stop them.
You looked back at him with a small smile. “Are you saying you want to see me again?”
He looked away, suddenly embarrassed.
“No.”
A pause.
“Maybe.”
You laughed.
And then you left.
But the next night, he went back.
And you were there.
-
It became a habit.
Three in the morning. The same convenience store. The same little table outside. The same person waiting for him.
The girl from the convenience store.
He never understood how someone he barely knew could become such an important part of his life. You didn’t know about his schedules. You didn’t know why he sometimes disappeared for days. You didn’t know why his phone constantly went off or why he looked so tired.
You just knew him.
And somehow, that was the part that scared him.
Everyone else loved the version of him he showed them, the version that performed and smiled and always seemed to have everything together. But you liked the person he was when nobody was watching.
He started writing more after meeting you. At first, he told himself it was because he needed inspiration. Because he was a songwriter. Because music was what he did.
But eventually, he had to admit that every song somehow became about you.
The warmth of the convenience store lights at three in the morning. The sound of your laugh. The way you complained about everything but still smiled. The way you seemed less tired when you were with him.
He even started remembering small things, like your favourite drink and the snack you always bought.
And the worst part?
He liked it.
-
Then the announcement came.
Tour.
Months of schedules, different cities, different countries. Everyone congratulated him. Everyone was excited, and he was too. He loved performing. He loved music. But there was one thought he couldn’t get rid of.
You.
He sat in the studio after everyone had left again, but this time he wasn’t writing. He was thinking back to the last thing you said to him the night before.
“See you tomorrow night?”
His chest tightened.
He should tell you.
He knew that.
He should explain that he wasn’t just someone who worked late, that his life was more complicated than what you saw at three in the morning. But every time he tried, he didn’t know how.
How could he explain that the person you knew was only one part of him?
He told himself he would tell you the next night.
Then the next.
Until suddenly, there was no next night.
The day of the flight came too quickly. Everything moved at once—staff, members, luggage, schedules, cameras. Before he knew it, he was gone.
The first night away, he expected to miss the convenience store.
He didn’t expect it to feel like something was missing from him.
He looked at the time.
3:00 AM.
His first instinct was to grab his hoodie and leave. Find somewhere quiet. Go back to the place where everything felt normal.
But he couldn’t.
He was thousands of miles away.
And you were probably sitting at that little table.
Waiting.
The thought made his stomach twist.
He opened his phone and searched for your name, only to realize something painful.
He never asked for your number.
He knew your favourite snack. He knew your coffee order. He knew the name of the coworker who annoyed you most.
But he didn’t know how to reach you.
He had written songs about someone whose life he didn’t even have access to.
So he waited.
Thinking he would see you again.
Thinking he would explain.
Thinking there was still time.
Until he came home.
And when he finally returned to that convenience store…
The seat across from him was empty.

a/n: a little drabble i planned a while ago that i only got to writing now. belated happy hoshi day! thank you to my baby @mellowgyu for helping me finalise the banner, i love you. this is not proofread.
Soonyoung was in one of his moods— when he gets overly sensitive and practices to the point of exhaustion—and everyone in the room could feel his wrath. No one ever understood what causes the sudden spike of irritation in him and nobody has ever tried to find out because not only are they terrified of angry Hoshi, but these "moods" also make him more dedicated towards his performances. He always crushes the stage when in this state, but today, as the staff watch him repeatedly practice the choreography for his upcoming performance at the HxW concert, they start to worry for his health. Woozi, watching his friend dissociate as he overworks himself to what would most likely be bedrest in a hospital, decides he's seen enough and calls the one person he knows can calm him down, you.
By the time Hoshi is done with the Spider choreography for the nth time, the door opens and you walk in. Soonyoung doesn't see you yet, too busy wallowing in his own world of emotions that are ranging between anger, annoyance, fear and anxiety. He gestures for the music to be played again, taking his position on the pole, upside down as he gets ready to do it all over again. You see him close his eyes, taking a breather before he starts dancing to the song, you catch Jihoon's eyes and he gestures for everyone to leave, giving you both some privacy. Everyone except for you and Soonyoung have left the room, quietly to not alert the very obviously anxious man. The speaker hums through the silence in the room, the familiar melody echoing off the walls making Soonyoung's body move as if on autopilot.
His eyes are still closed as he starts to dance, you walk towards him, but he's completely lost in the sway of his arms and the beats of the music that rings through the air. It's the Hoshi you've seen on stage but this one is tired and fragile, your heart aches for him. When you reach him, you drop down to his level, coming face to face with your very much exhausted yet stubborn boyfriend who still doesn't realise what's happening. You stare at his face, the way he looks relaxed but to your accustomed eyes, the exhaustion is obvious. He looks beautiful, seemingly calm yet raging beneath that tough exterior, just like a tiger as he claims. You shake your head, fighting a smile as your mouth twitches, thinking about what you're about to do. It's when he's about to lift himself up that you move, your lips slotting against his in a kiss, an upside down kiss, and Soonyoung freezes, recognizing the warmth of your touch but confused about how and when you got here.
You take adavantage of his frozen state and bite his lip, making him whine as he feels you smile against him. Giving him another peck to soothe the sting, you pull back to see his face. His lips are still parted as he slowly opens his eyes, looking flustered with the tips of his ears reddened. Soonyoung tries to process everything that just happened, his fingers coming up to touch his lips, like he can't believe what you did. The action has you giggling, a sound that snaps him back to the present, his head tilting as he takes in the sight of you standing in front of him, smiling so beautifully that he forgets everything else. He realises he's smiling too— he has been since he felt you kiss him—he can't help it, it's an automatic reaction to you.
Propping himself upright since he was still hanging upside down, he gets off the pole and immediately goes to take you into his arms. "When did you get here baby?" Hearing his question, you narrow your eyes playfully and tsk, "You didn't notice me even when I walked over to you. That preoccupied, huh?"
You see the instant guilt on his face, softening as you realise he was a lot more stressed than you thought. "Hosh, look at me." Looking into his eyes, you ask him, "What's wrong? I've never seen you this distressed before." You see a smile appear on his face but it doesn't reach his eyes, "It's nothing baby, I just want to make sure I practice enough." Not believing a single word that came out of his smiling mouth, you continue to look into his eyes. Seeing the deadpan expression on your face, Soonyoung sighs, giving in. Honestly, he doesn't know why he bothered to lie in the first place when he knows you could easily see through the lie behind the practiced answer.
"I just feel like I need to make sure everything is perfect for the concert. It's our last one before enlisting, so I guess it just made me scared? I just-It's hitting me that I won't be on stage for a while after this so I want to make this as memorable as possible."
Listening to your boyfriend speak of his concerns, you understand where he's coming from. For as long as you've known Soonyoung, he's always shining on the stage—he thrives when he performs—so to have to leave that behind for a couple years must be a very complicated feeling that he has been dealing with since they announced this tour. However, you know that him overworking himself like this is not the answer.
"I understand that Soonie, but practicing like this will put your health at risk. It's more harm than good, so please rest properly and you can continue again, okay?"
He knows you're right, he knows Jihoon must have called you after seeing him do the same thing over and over again. He smiles to himself, thinking that he really is lucky to have his members. Yet, he still cannot bring himself to stop practicing like you tell him to. It's like his mind refuses to listen to his aching body, itching to start the music again.
Watching the conflict on his face, you reach out to grab his face with both hands, forcing him to look at you. You get his attention for a second before his mind wanders again, you heart aching for him as you realise this is much harder for him than he expected it to be, you do the on thing you can think of.
Soonyoung feels you kiss him again and he's shocked for a second before he reciprocates, not wasting time as he pulls you closer, not letting you get away this time. His hand moves to the back of your head, deepening the kiss and making you gasp when he bites you just like you did a few minutes ago.
When you part, both of you are panting from the intensity of the kiss and Soonyoung looks at you like he's finally snapped out of his thoughts surrounding the never ending practice. He breaks the silence first, "I'm sorry baby." A confused sound leaves you as you tilt your head, "For what?"
"You're trying to comfort me and make me understand that I need to stop doing this for my own good but my stubborn ass didn't listen."
Endeared, you assure him, "You're listening now, that's all that matters."
Soonyoung swears he's the luckiest man alive for having you in his life and he's thankful to the universe for bringing him to you. He calls your name softly, "Thank you, baby. God knows I love you so much." Chuckling, you pull him back into a tight embrace, "I love you, too."
He feels his knees weaken as if it's his first time hearing you say it—like he could melt into the ground at the sound of your voice telling him you love him—he doesn't think he will ever get used to that feeling.
He feels you pull away, and you're looking at him as you speak firmly, "Soonyoung, I know you're scared about leaving, I know you're scared about what the future will hold by the time you get back, but I want you to remember that no matter what, I'm not going anywhere. So are the members and your fans. Well, most of them anyway. The fans, I mean. Cheol will drag them back if any of the members try to leave." You hear him chuckle at that, knowing his leader will do exactly that. "I know it's terrifying to leave everything behind but it's not forever, we're all here for you. Always."
While your words don't make his concerns disappear, he does feel much more confident in facing the future, with you by his side. He then sees the love in your eyes and it makes him forget everything he was worried about, there's nothing more beautiful in his eyes. As long as you stay with him, he knows he'll be happy.
He moves to places sweet kisses against your eyelids and forehead before pulling you into another hug. You cuddle into his chest as you understand this is his way of saying he knows, and that he's thankful for you.
The moment is broken when the door opens and Jihoon walks in. He pauses when he sees the sight in front of him, the two of you snug in each other's arms. He smiles, "Good, you smacked some sense into him, I was starting to get worried since you were taking too long. I'll get going then. See you tomorrow, don't be so pissy tomorrow." He says, looking at Soonyoung before he turns and walks back out the door.
Laughing, you turn to look at your boyfriend who's rolling his eyes with a fond smile. "So, you wanna go get dinner?" He nods, about to ask what you want to eat when you beat him to it, "Kimchi-jjigae?" The smile on his face is wide enough to make his cheeks hurt, "Of course baby, let's go."
As you walk out the building and get into the car, Soonyoung finally remembers how you had kissed him when he was still on the pole trying to dance. Turning to look at you, he asks, "Baby, what made you think of kissing me while I was upside down?"
You grin at his question, mischief visible in your eyes, "You were too occupied with the stress that you weren't reacting to anything. So, I had to get creative."
Hearing your answer, Soonyoung laughs, "Well, you're welcome to do that any time, baby." Laughing with him now, you drive to your favorite restaurant to get dinner, happy that you managed to ease your boyfriend of his worries.
AHHHHH THE SHOW WITH MINGHAO AND A KID SO CUTEEE yeah it's a propaganda to increase korea's birth rate, well guess what its working for me, let me go there rn

[ Opening now the treasure box of all boohyunz moments that makes my mind go circles! ]
[ Some of these are so damn obvious that at this point we’re all really just waiting for that damn announcement 😏]
[ And the fact that half of these are from welive??? Yeah, these two are getting really comfortable that it’s not even a secret at this point 😏😏😏 ]
[ Let’s start now! ]
[ Moment #1 — 20241110 Jihyun’s Book Club Weverse Live ]
The live started in the simplest way possible. Opposite from the glamorous and shining image of her on stage just a few hours ago, Jihyun is now currently sitting on the chair in her hotel room, comfortably dressed in matching pyjamas that are clearly oversized for her.
Her phone was positioned against the desk lamp in front of her, slightly tilted, just enough to capture her upper body, while still showing the book she was about to read as well as book tabs and highlighters she brought with her.
Meanwhile, the background fully shows the interior of the hotel room, signifying that the door was parallel to where her phone was currently positioned at.
[ At this point, nothing is really suspicious,,, y’all just have to wait and see LOLL ]
The live started peacefully. It was noticeable that Jihyun just washed up because her hair was up in a bun, some strands were still wet, and her skin was glistening because of the light.
“Carat-deul~ Hello,” Jihyun greeted softly as she waved toward the camera. “Did everyone eat already?”
[ Our sweetest girl, really 😭😭 ]
She laughed softly as the comments were immediately flooded with compliments.
“Really? Did you guys have fun?” she asked, leaning closer towards the screen as she scrolled through the comments. “I’m relieved then.”
She then spent a couple of minutes casually chatting with fans, thanking them for attending the concert since it was the very last stop for the US tour.
Jihyun was continuously reading the comments, when suddenly, a specific one seemed to get her attention, causing her to pout.
“Honestly..” she said in a soft voice like she was hesitating whether to say it or not. “Ah.. I don’t know if I should say this… I feel like a lot of you will be upset at the company again if I mention it..”
She paused for a while, resting her chin on her palm thoughtfully.
“To be honest, I was a little disappointed that we still didn’t get to go to other countries that carats have requested for this tour.”
[ PLEDIS ARE YOU HEARING THIS !!!! ]
“I really wanted to go to Canada and perform, but I guess it’s not the time yet… And Europe too” She added with a bittersweet smile.
[ Now my baby is sad and its all Pledis’ fault ☹️ ]
Jihyun finally moved slightly away from the camera as she fixed her seating position and straightened her back.
She exhaled first before continuing, “But we’ll work harder, so that carats won’t feel too sad, okay?”, smiling brightly this time.
After greeting and checking on everyone, Jihyun finally explained the reason why she decided to turn on the live show that night.
“Actually,” she started, as she adjusted the sleeves of her pyjamas and finally grabbed the book in front of her.
“The reason why I turned on tonight’s live show is because I wanted to do a reading session with you guys.” She then grabbed her phone from where it was propped on, and switched the camera to show what was on her desk.
“I thought it would be a great way to relax since today was the last day for our US tour.” She added, as she returned her phone to its original position.
Jihyun then proceeded to introduce the book she was going to read, and shared that she was so close to finishing it but couldn’t because of the tight schedule.
She also shared that the book was so good that she literally binged read almost all of it for two days, and that she thought it would be really nice to see carats’ reaction to her reaction of the ending since it was a popular book.
The live was going on for about 30 minutes now, and Jihyun had her headphones on as she was listening to the audiobook while reading at the same time. She talks here and there whenever the story gets to the exciting part, sharing her reaction to the fans, while carats were either reacting to the book with her, or simply just flooding the comment section with compliments of emojis.
[ The last few moments before the storm ]
[ Remember this peaceful atmosphere because it’s about to get chaotic ]
While listening to the audiobook, Jihyun was now currently annotating the book, even switching the color of her pens here and there depending on the mood she was feeling.
She was so into it that she didn’t notice someone was entering the room.
The live continued, and Carats watching the live heard the sound of the door opening. Everyone was already flooding the comments with questions, asking who entered the room, but since Jihyun was so busy at what she was doing, she didn’t notice at all.
[ GIRLLLL i was so scared for her during this because what if it was a sasaeng likee?? 😭😭 ]
The live went quiet for a few seconds, with just the sound of Jihyun’s pen and the flipping of the page being heard, when the sound of the footsteps approached closer.
[ CHAT WAS LOSING IT NOW ATP ]
“Who is it???”
“WHO?????”
“GIRLL how good is that book how come she haven’t noticed someone entered her room 😭😭😭”
“Who’s member is it???”
Everyone was already panicking in the comment section, asking and informing Jihyun that someone had entered the room, when suddenly, they finally heard who it was.
“Aegi-yah,” The viewers heard Seungkwan said from behind the camera. But since Jihyun was so into what she was doing, she still haven’t noticed him up until now.
[ I LEGIT CRASHED OUT WHEN I HEARD HIM CALL HER LIKE???? ]
[ also,, not i-carats being clueless up until this point while k-carats are legit losing it in the comment section 😭😭 ]
“모냐 방금??????? 방금 애기라고 했나??????” (Wait what was that just now??????? Did he just say ‘baby’??????)
“헐 승관이다ㅏㅏㅏㅏㅏ!!!!!” (OMG IT’S SEUNGKWANNNNNNN!!!!!)
“미친 방금 뭐냐????????? “ (HOLY SH– what was that just now?????????)
“아니 잠깐만 나만 들은 거 아니지????? “ (Wait hold on, I wasn’t the only one who heard it, right?????)
“애기야?????????? 지금 애기야라고 한거임????????” (Baby?????????? Did he just say ‘baby’????????)
“승관아 해명해봐” (Seungkwan-ah, explain yourself)
[ i swear, the moment i heard seungkwan i immediately came to X for translation LOLLL ]
After a while, the comment section was finally flooded by comment from international fans.
“WAIT WHAT DID HE JUST CALL HER???”
“Guys i dont speak korean WHAT IS HAPPENING 😭😭😭”
“ GIIIRL APPARENTLY KWANNIE JUST CALLED HER BABY????”
“ how come she hasn't noticed it yet,,,, GIRL WE’RE GOING CRAZY HERE????”
“ bro didn’t even hesitate??? Does seungkwan know she’s currently on live??? 😭😭”
After a few seconds of her not responding, Seungkwan decided to go closer to her, and call her attention again.
“Jihyun-ie?” he said in a softer tone as he tilted his head, trying to meet her gaze. “Come, let’s go and eat now.” But when Jihyun still hasn’t responded, this made Seungkwan resort to his last option.
[ THIS IS WHAT FINALLY MADE ME LOSE IT GUYS OH GOD ]
He extended his hand and held her chin, making her finally look at him. The moment Jihyun felt his hand touch her, and when her gaze finally met his, her eyes widened in a panic.
She immediately removed the headphones she was wearing. “What? Since when were you here?” She asked, clearly startled.
Seungkwan then explained that he’s been there for a while already, calling her so that they could have dinner together.
Jihyun’s facial expression finally calmed down for a little bit, but still couldn’t help but to laugh nervously at what was happening.
“Did you come here knowing I was doing live?” She asked, smiling at him.
For about two seconds, there was complete silence. The fans couldn’t see Seungkwan at this point. The only thing they could see was his arm resting on her shoulder.
That was when Jihyun’s smile started fading, and was replaced by a shocked and nervous expression again.
Then finally, carats heard a gasp from Seungkwan.
“What??” He whispered with a low voice from behind the camera. “You were on live?!”
[ YOU CAN CLEARLY HEAR HIS PANIC KDFJKSEHDRHWE 😭 Poor kwannie 😭😭 ]
Jihyun’s gaze switched between Seungkwan and her phone camera. The fans can clearly tell that this wasn’t planned at all, and the two were as surprised as they were.
Afterwards, the fans heard a very muffled whispering from behind the camera. Seems like Seungkwan was explaining to Jihyun in detail what happened earlier the moment he went inside the hotel room.
Jihyun’s pupil was shaking in nervousness, and her eyes, which was already big, doubled in size again. Her lips pressed tightly together before her hand immediately flew up to cover her mouth in shock.
After Seungkwan was done explaining, Jihyun immediately turned her gaze towards her phone, and immediately turned off the live broadcast.
[ NOW istg if some of yall still think we’re just delulu, i would like you to think again ]
[ this live was deleted by pledis btw 😏😏😏😏 ]
[ Moment #2: 다시 11.55 LIVE and a Very Grumpy Kang Jihyun ]
Their Yokusoku Fanmeeting in Japan just officially ended, and Seungkwan, Mingyu, Shua, and Vernon decided to start a live broadcast right after eating dinner and washing up.
This live was already their second broadcast using Mingyu’s weverse account since the first one was set in portrait mode. And since Vernon unexpectedly joined, they had to switch it to landscape mode in order for them to fit in the screen.
The live show has been running for a good 30 minutes already, with them mostly reading carats comments and starting a new discussion based on it.
“Hi, Mr. Thomas!” Shua said, reading it from the comments. Seungkwan immediately turned his head towards him as Shua gave him the phone and pointed out the comment.
Seungkwan laughed slightly before looking back at the camera. “Thomas is a banned word now. I’m going to report you.” He said in a teasing way.
The other three immediately laughed. “Because, even other carats don't like it too.” He added.
[ YEA guys please lets stop that thomas thing 😾 its getting really annoying ]
Seungkwan then immediately reminded the fans to not be mad at those who mentioned Thomas because it might be just because they didn’t know he didn’t want to be called that anymore.
[ MY SWEET BOO 🥺🥺🥺 ]
“For the 11th Anniversary, I guess they didn’t want us to suffer that much,” Seungkwan explained to the members, seeing that most suggestions for the character they should dress up to aren’t as heavy as the halloween live they did before.
Mingyu, who was continuously looking at the comments on his phone, answered, “I think they know that dressing as the cool characters is a lot better.”
“Right? Because, honestly, when will we be able to do something like this ever again?”
Shua, who was sharing the phone with Mingyu, looked up suddenly, reminded by something. “I actually sent Jihyunie a recommendation the other day. I saw a few comments recommending that character to her and I thought it would suit her so much so I had to make sure she picked that one.” He said, laughing towards the end.
“Really? Who is it? What character was it?” Mingyu asked curiously as he looked at Shua beside him. To avoid any spoilers, Shua leaned towards Mingyu and whispered it into his ear.
“AHHH! Wow, yah! That would seriously suit her so much!” He immediately said after hearing who it was, laughing slightly.
“Ahhh,,, So it was you, Hyung, who suggested it to her.” Seungkwan said, his eyes widening in realization while pointing at Shua.
“No, because I think that was the other night?” he said, tilting his head, as if thinking if his memory was right, “She was suddenly trying the makeup for it when i got h— in the middle of the night,”
[ WHEN YOU WHAT???? WHEN YOU WHAT??? ]
[ The bbohyunz living together allegations might actually be true its making me lose my mind 😭 ]
“How was it tho? Because Jihyunie is really good at doing her own makeup, right??” Vernon asked.
“It looks… really dark. But I like it. At first, I thought it was quite weird, because it kinda looks like a corpse–”
“Isn’t that what that character is known for though?,” Mingyu asked, cutting Seungkwan mid sentence as he looked towards Shua.
The live broadcast then continued smoothly, as the four members interacted with carats continuously. At some point, someone even asked why the members weren’t sleeping yet since it was getting quite late already.
The members were currently talking about Seungkwan’s Boo Youmi transformation when a carat asked if he had taken a bunch of pictures as Boo Youmi. Seungkwan then shared that he did took a lot of photos but he missed the timing to post them; to which Mingyu answered that he can now post them since a lot of fans are waiting for it.
They were having a good chat when suddenly, they heard the door beep, signifying that someone had tapped in their keycard. The members immediately turned their heads towards the hotel room door, visibly startled by the sudden sound.
“Who are you?” Mingyu exclaimed, trying to ask the person trying to enter the room.
Seungkwan then leaned forward slightly, attempting to figure out who it was. “Are you a member?”
From beyond the camera, beside where the members were seated, the fans heard a heavy footstep enter the room. When the door closed again, the shock from the members' faces were now mixed with a faint smile.
Then suddenly, a very sleepy and raspy voice was heard from beyond the camera.
“Why is everyone so loud…? I could hear you guys from my room…”
Away from the camera, Jihyun entered the room wearing an oversized pyjama set with her hair dishevelled, looking like she genuinely just woke up a few seconds ago before barging into the room.
The members immediately bursted into laughter at the sight of her.
Meanwhile, Jihyun was literally squinting from the brightness, as if fighting her sleepiness. Then, without hesitation, she mumbled quietly with her raspy voice, “Oppa… Are you not going to sleep yet?”
This made the four stop mid laughter, but decided not to react as if to not raise suspicion. Seungkwan, who was in the far right seat, reached for Jihyun and pulled her to the side.
That was the last scene the fans saw right before the other members looked at each other and just smiled to themselves and immediately threw a topic to talk about.
But from behind the camera, they heard the two mumbling something quietly before leaving the room. However, since the other members were already talking, the broadcast wasn’t able to pick up the sound properly.
[ no because technically she calls ALL the older members “oppa” but why did seungkwan immediately stand up like he KNEW she was specifically looking for HIM 😭 ]
[ ALSO??? YALL,,, THEY’RE ROOMMATES ??? ]
[ Moment #3: Nana Tour Wake Up Mission ]
[ This one for real kinda confirms my theory that Boohyunz are normally roommates during tours ]
[ The holy clips that started it all for me honestly ✨ ]
After planning on how to surprise the members with Cheol, Na PD is now headed towards the room where the members who were still currently awake are.
“I’m so nervous right now that my hands are shaking,” he said as he continued walking, shoving his hands in his pocket.
Him, as well as the camera crew that was following him, finally turned into the hallway where the members’ rooms were located, when they immediately bumped into Seungkwan.
Na PD’s body camera shows a quite drunk Seungkwan with this very disheveled curly hair, about to go into his hotel room.
Upon seeing Na PD, Seungkwan’s eyes immediately widened. “What? What is this?” He said in panic, while Na PD immediately motioned him to come over.
“Why are you outside? Weren’t you drinking with the members?”
For a moment, Seungkwan just looked between Na PD and the crew in panic, as if he got caught doing something, while also being shocked as to why they were there.
“No… No.. I–”
[ LMAO him looking so nervous is making this more obvious i swear 😭😭 ]
The video then immediately cuts to the part where the members who were drinking together decide who to wake up first. At first, they planned on waking Dokyeom first, when Chan suddenly blurted out, “Or, maybe we should wake up Jihyun first? She also didn’t join the company dinner earlier too..”
“Oh right! Jihyun was so sick today she had to leave the stage during the encore earlier..” Cheol explained.
The others immediately agreed, with the reason that if they woke her up last, with all the members present in her room, they would probably get an earful from her.
Once all the members were already in front of her door, Cheol was about to tap in the master key card, when Na PD suddenly asked, “Wait, isn’t this Seungkwan’s room?”
The members looked around themselves with a slight smile because of his question. Meanwhile, it made Seungkwan immediately laugh slightly as he explained to the members, “Ahhh… It’s because this is where I ran into PD-nim earlier.”
The original video then immediately cuts to where all of them are—the members present as well as Na PD, enters the room, leaving the question unanswered if the room was actually Seungkwan’s or if Jihyun and him share the room together.
[ YEAH they’re either roommates & kwannie was about to rest already when he bumped into na pd ]
[ OR he was about to check on Jihyun because she’s sick ]
[ 😼😼😼😼 ]
[ Mooment #4: 260401 Boostella ]
[ This is where the BooHyunz living together rumors started !!! ]
[ Mind you this is 4 months after SK confirmed that BooHan doesn live together anymore 🥹 ]
At first the live started as a voice-only broadcast. It started pretty late, at 12:54PM and Seungkwan had already washed up and was lying in bed when he turned it on.
During the first few minutes. He first asked how the fans are doing, while also sharing that they had a practice today, so he decided to turn on the broadcast right after washing up.
“After practice, I ordered some food at home and ate.” He said in a low and calm voice.
“I ate dakgangjeong for the first time in a while and it was really good.”
[ I NEED MORE OF HIS LOW VOICE OH GOD ]
At around the 15 minute mark, Seungkwan finally decided to actually turn on the camera, revealing the very dark room since he didn’t have any lights on.
“Hold on, it’s too dark..” He said while reaching for the lampshade on his bed side table. “This doesn’t look right, wait a minute..”
“How should I do this?”
Seungkwan then stood up for a second to open the lights, but seeing that it was too bright he just opted for the lampshade that was beside him, creating a very warm mood.
Right after that, the comments were now going wild seeing the sight of him in bed all cozy while wearing a very loose set of pajamas.
[ BBOHYUNZ AND THEIR OBSESSION WITH MATCHING PAJAMA SET >>>>> ]
The live then continued smoothly for the next thirty minutes as Seungkwan chatted with carats regarding the upcoming encore concert and DxS fancon as he played various songs from his phone. Occasionally, he would also talk about artists he likes, share a memory attached to a certain song, or laugh at the comments that caught his attention.
At one point, a song that he used to frequently listen to years ago started playing.
“Oh! This song…” Seungkwan said as soon as the intro started playing. A smile immediately appeared on his face as he leaned against the headboard. “ I used to listen to this a lot back then. Seriously, I was obsessed with it.”
He laughed slightly before continuing. “I think there was a time where I listened to it almost everyday. Even now, whenever it comes on, I still know the lyrics and all.”
Seungkwan then continued talking about it, when suddenly, the faint sound of running water echoed throughout his bedroom. It was so subtle that the fans present on the live weren’t even sure if they had heard it correctly. But Seungkwan definitely did.
He stopped talking for a brief second. His eyes widened slightly as he shifted his gaze from somewhere beyond the camera,
[ watch his face carefully here 😭 ]
[ THAT IS THE FACE OF SOMEONE WHO JUST REALIZED SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT ]
Almost immediately afterward, Seungkwan turned back his gaze towards the camera and started speaking like nothing happened.
“Anyway…” he said while laughing awkwardly. “Yeah, I think that’s why I really liked that song so much..”
The transition was so abrupt that it made the situation more suspicious. Making the fans more curious in the comment section than ever.
[ At this point, someone was even teasing him that his apartment is haunted 😭 ]
“What was that???”
“Eh??? What is happening??”
“Yall I think I just heard his shower suddenly turn on???”
“Either his place is haunted or—- 😏😏”
As expected, Seungkwan’s eyes naturally drifted towards the comment section. Seeing how everyone was now talking about what happened, he tried to look for another topic to talk about to quickly divert the situation.
But seeing how the comments still haven’t shifted, he decided to just address it.
Seungkwan shifted his position, preparing to go out of bed. “Carat-deul.” he said, trying to sound casual. “Wait for a moment, okay? I’ll just just check something.”
He then stood up and disappeared from the frame, leaving the viewers staring at the empty bed.
[ my new zoom background loll ]
The fans can hear his footsteps fading away as he go further as well as the sound of the door closing, signifying that he either went outside of his bedroom or just went to the en-suite bathroom.
Almost at least a minute or two has passed when suddenly, the sound of the running water finally stopped.
The fans heard the door again, and the sound of his slippers dragging across the floor.
When Seungkwan finally returned to the frame, he was now wearing a very mischievous smile on his face. He then went back to his lying position earlier as he continued the broadcast.
He let out a sigh while laughing slightly. “Ah, really.. That was..”
Before he was able to complete his sentence, his gaze immediately noticed the comments asking what just happened. His hand immediately reached his phone, as he scrolled through the comment section.
“Kwan-ah, what was that just now?” He read aloud one of the comments.
Before answering the question, he first resumed playing a song on his other phone to make a grasp of the situation. His gaze then turned to the camera again and let out a short laugh before answering. “It was nothing. I showered earlier and it seems like I forgot to close the faucet properly.”
[ THE SMIRK????? BOO SEUNGKWAN??? ]
[ EVEN CARATWT WAS NOT BUYING THAT EXCUSE I SWEAR LOLL ]
[ your honor, my client is innocent but unfortunately he is very BAD at lying 😭 ]
[ Moment #5: Carat-Log: The Wallpaper Incident ]
[ also known as the day jihyun almost exposed herself HAHAHAHA ]
This moment actually didn’t come from a livestream or any official schedule,
It was from a completely random vlog uploaded by two carats sharing their experience preparing and joining a seventeen fansign event.
According to the vlog, the two traveled to Korea for Seventeen’s fansign event the following day. Earlier that afternoon, they spent several hours shopping for some gifts to bring to the members. And since they were both Jihyun biased, they specifically prepared a separate gift bag for her filled with various Miffy items since they know how much she liked the character.
After finishing shopping, they decided to have some dinner before going back to their hotel.
The restaurant they chose was a popular spot now among carats since it was known that the group dined there often, with their signatures displayed on the wall.
The two were conversing when one of them suddenly froze in the middle of speaking. The camera then shifted towards the opposite direction before quietly zooming in.
Someone just walked in, and even the two couldn’t believe it themselves.
Jihyun just came into the restaurant accompanied by her manager. ‘It was like everything was shining and sparkling around her’, the caption from the vlog said.
[ imagine seeing your bias in the middle of eating dinner 😭 ]
[ i literally would’ve lost my mind ]
The two immediately lowered their voices and turned the camera towards themselves, trying their best to act normal.
According to the vlog, they had absolutely no intention of disturbing her. They didn’t want to make her uncomfortable, especially since she was clearly off schedule and was just simply trying to enjoy a meal by herself.
So despite internally losing their minds, they decided to not make a fuss about it. Or at least that was their plan. But, it was as if destiny wasn’t on their side because Jihyun was seated on the table beside theirs.
‘A literal princess is sitting right beside us, everyone 🥹’ the caption said.
A few minutes after being seated, Jihyun suddenly looked in their direction. The two immediately panicked, worried that they were caught staring. But, instead of looking uncomfortable, Jihyun smiled brightly towards them as she bowed slightly to greet the two.
It was noticeable the she glanced towards the bags sitting beside them. She smiled slightly seeing the photocard and keyring of her hanging in it.
A few moments later, Jihyun stood up, on the way to somewhere when she unexpectedly stopped at their table first. The two carats looked up immediately.
Then, before they could even say anything, Jihyun greeted them first.
“Hello~” She said warmly as she bowed slightly. “Enjoy your meal~” She added before she continued walking.
[ she greeted them first since they were too shy to do it first 🥹🥹 ]
Despite the unexpected encounter, the two carats still tried their best to continue their dinner normally.
According to the vlog, most of their remaining meal consisted of them whispering excitedly to each other while repeatedly reminding themselves to act normal.
[ THEY WERE STRONGER THAN ME ]
Meanwhile, the paper bag containing Jihyun’s gift remained sitting beside their table.
Originally, they planned on bringing it to the fansign the following day. That was the entire reason they had spent the afternoon shopping in the first place. But since Jihyun was just sitting only a few tables away from them, the two began debating whether they should give it to her now.
On one hand, they really didn’t want to bother her. But then again, what were the chances of accidentally running into her again?
Eventually, they decided to gather whatever courage they had left and approached her before leaving. The vlog showed the camera shaking as they stood from their table and made their way towards where Jihyun was seated.
According to the uploader, they were so nervous that they forgot what they originally planned to say.
When they finally reached her table, Jihyun immediately looked up and recognized them. Her expression softened before greeting the, “Oh! Hello again~”
The two bowed politely before one of them carefully held out the paper bag. “We were actually planning to give these to you tomorrow during the fansign,” the fan laughed nervously, “But since we unexpectedly met you today, we thought we could give it to you now.”
For a brief moment, Jihyun looked genuinely surprised. She carefully accepted the give with both hands as she thanked the both of them.
Then, the moment she peeked inside, her entire face immediately lit up.
“Oh my gosh you guys! Thank you for this~” She looked through the items one by one before shaking her head in disbelief. “This is so cute, thank you so much.”
[ she really is such a sweet person oh gosh 🥺🥺🥺 ]
Then, unexpectedly, Jihyun suddenly placed the gift down beside her.
“Wait for a while,” she said as she began searching her bag for something. A few seconds later, she pulled out a marker and said, “Do you guys have anything you want me to sign?”
[ SHE LITERALLY OFFERED FIRST OH GAAHH ]
The two froze before panicking as they looked for a piece of paper or anything she could sign.
After signing and chatting with them for a little bit, the conversation finally began winding down. The two were preparing to leave when Jihyun’s eyes suddenly landed on the camera on the table.
“Oh? Are you guys filming a vlog?” She said as she tilted her head curiously.
The fans nodded immediately. Sharing that they were recording their Korea trip, especially since they were attending the fansign.
Jihyun’s eyes widened slightly as she nodded. “Really?” She then pointed towards the camera and asked, “Do you want me to appear for a little bit?”
For a solid three seconds, neither of the carats responded, as if they had fully malfunctioned. “Really?!” one of them finally blurted out.
Jihyun immediately laughed before nodding. “Of course~”
The two immediately agreed enthusiastically as they went and grabbed the camera from the table. Jihyun also stood up from her seat, before asking her manager to wait for a while.
A few moments later, the camera switched into a selfie mode, showing the two and Jihyun in a clearer shot.
The two carats immediately moved closer together while Jihyun stood beside them, leaning slightly toward the camera so that everyone could fit comfortably in the shot.
“Hello, everyone~ This is Jihyun~” She greeted cheerfully while waving towards the camera.
The two fans beside her looked equally excited and overwhelmed. The atmosphere was warm and surprisingly natural.
However, the moment Jihyun raised her hand and waved towards the camera, she completely forgot that she was still holding her phone in the same hand, making it lit up almost immediately, accidentally revealing her lockscreen wallpaper.
[ MISS MAAM WHY YOUR WALLPAPER IS A SLEEPING KWANNIE?????? JSJLKDJJWEK ]
[ MIND YOU THIS IS AN UNRELEASED PIC ]
“Oh! Eonnie, is that Seungkwan on your wallpaper?” one of them asked calmly.
“Hmm?” Jihyun asked, tilting her head, curious as to how they knew. She then looked at the same hand she waved with, and realized that her phone might have lit up earlier. She then looked up with a really flustered look.
It was as if she was frozen for a second as her eyes blinked really fast. “Ah.. I only put it there because I wanted to tease him. Because he really hates it whenever I use it.” She quickly said, laughing slightly, almost awkwardly.
According to the vlog, Jihyun shared that she had taken it herself while Seungkwan was sleeping, thought it was hilarious, and was using it occasionally whenever she wanted to annoy him.
[ honestly?? GIRL nothing was hilarious in the photo,, it was actually so domestic like?????? ]

[ Moment #6: NanaBNB: Chef Seungkwan ]
[ i swear i didnt notice this during the time of release until someone sent it to me as a supporting evidence of bboohyunz living together agenda after the boostella live LOLL 😭😭 ]
It all started when Seungkwan got picked as the cook for that day, together with Shua, Vernon, and Hoshi.
Last night, the Nana BNB staff asked all of them what they wanted for dinner, to which the members replied with their own preferences. The cook was then chosen through a game of roulette.
Shua was preparing the ingredients they needed for Hoshi’s Deep-fried dish with rice, when he heard Seungkwan sighing beside him.
Shua was walking towards the pantry when he ran into Seungkwan and heard him let out a deep sigh. “I’m not confident at this…” Seungkwan let out while pouting as he hid his hands in the pocket of his hoodie.
Shua stopped mid action and immediately turned his gaze on Seungkwan. “Why? You can just do it! There’s no reason for you to feel that way~” He said, assuring him that he can do it.
Meanwhile, the other members who weren’t chosen for the task, are now having their own free time. Some were resting in their own respective rooms, some were playing on the Go Stop on the dining seat, while others chose to help with the cooking even though they didn’t have to.
Seungkwan and Shua are now peeling the shrimp together. And since it takes quite some time, the two were debating whether they should peel all of it or just exactly thirteen pieces.
“They’ll taste better with more shrimps. Fried shrimp is the best. You know it feels good when the food is tasty!” Shua said, keeping his gaze at the shrimp he was peeling. “The feeling of accomplishment when they enjoy eating them.”
Seungkwan just hummed in agreement. “But, I haven’t had that feeling yet.. Because I haven’t tried cooking ever.” He answered without much confidence in his voice.
Shua laughed slightly at his answer. “Don’t you cook at home at all?”
“No. Not really..”
“That’s interesting.. Knowing that your mom is really good at cooking,” Shua said in amusement as he looked at Seungkwan. “Your mother’s food is great.”
“Exactly..” Seungkwan replied.
Shua stopped at what he was doing for a while to stretch for a bit, when he suddenly mentioned, “Jihyunie too.. Jihyun is really good at cooking.”
[ WHATS WITH THE SUDDEN MENTION KSJSJSJSJJSJS ]
[ nanabnb was filmed 2025,, but then again, we dont actually know when did boohan moo ed out of their dorm so 🤭🤭 ]
Seungkwan stopped mid-action as their eyes met. Both of them widened their eyes in realization, stunned smiles tugging at their lips as they processed what Joshua had just let slip.
“But, in return,” Seungkwan explained as he continued peeling the shrimps on his bowl, “I do all the dishes and stuff.”
[ IS THIS LOWKEY A CONFIRMATION OR THATS JUST ME? JSJSJJS ]
Seungkwan then sighed again before wondering aloud, “Ha.. Why is it that I am not interested in cooking at all?”
[ Final Verdict ]
After spending way too many hours editing this video, compiling every moment I had in my memo, rewatching the clips frame by frame, and sharing a lot of theories with my friends enough to qualify me for a detective license, I have come to the conclusion that:
Jihyun and Kwannie really do share something special with each other. It cannot be denied that they are each other’s comfort.
Did any of these moments actually prove anything? — No.
BUT
Did they somehow make everything look suspicious? — YES. Definitely, yes.
However, at the end of the day, this video is simply a compilation of fun moments that fans have enjoyed talking about over the years. None of us really knows what happens behind the scenes, and everything discussed in this video should be treated as speculations and light hearted fan observations only.
Whether you see these moments as friendship, coincidence, soulmate behavior, or simply two people who share a single brain cell, one thing is certain: The amount of happiness these two bring to other people whenever they’re together is genuinely special.
And maybe that's the reason why a lot of people love revisiting these moments again and again.
Not because we’re trying to prove something, but because watching them interact with each other is simply fun.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go stare my wall and rethink my life choices after making this video.
Thank you for watching!
(and please remember, if seungkwan ever sees this compilation… yea.. I was never here)

BooSeokTeaz: the fact that seungkwan calls her baby so naturally is whats killing me. Thta did NOT sound like he was saying it for the first time either 😭😭 also the fact that pledis deleted that live after just makes it 10x more suspicious
Yoonzvt: coming back here just to let everyone know,,, apparently kwannie sleeps without his shirt on these days… yea… #deluluresponsibly #ihavenothingappropriatetosay
Horanghae4Life: my favorite genre of bboohyunz moments is when they just casually expose themselves and immediately tried to cover it up with the worst excuses known to mankind lolll
0406MingyuLuv: not the legendary shower incident 😭😭

A/n:- It's inspired by this reel. i legit have to complete so many wips, I am going insane. But ofc i had leave all that and write this.
The cursor blinked at her like a heartbeat.
I am getting married in 2 hours. if you want to change something… some love.
She had typed it. Deleted it. Typed it again. Stared at the screen until her eyes burned and the letters blurred into meaningless shapes. And then, before she could talk herself out of it for the hundredth time that morning, she pressed send.
The message floated up into the blue bubble and she felt the air leave her lungs.
The dress was suffocating her.
White lace, delicate pearls hand-sewn along the bodice, a train that pooled on the floor like melting snow. Her mother had cried when she tried it on for the first time. She had cried too — though she told herself it was happy tears. A bride's tears.
But the truth?
She had been crying for a year.
For him.
For Boo Seungkwan.
For the way they ended — not with a fight that cleared the air, but with a slow, rotting silence that started when she said "I need some time" and he nodded, hurt flickering across his face before he masked it with that practiced smile. The one he used on stage. The smile that said everything is fine when it absolutely wasn't.
And she let him walk away.
She let the days turn into weeks, the weeks into months, the months into a year where the only proof that they had ever existed was the ache in her chest and the saved voicemails she listened to in the dark of her bedroom, phone pressed against her ear like she could somehow reach through time and space and touch his voice.
"Hey, it's me. I know you said you need space, and I'm trying to respect that, I really am. But I — look, I just wanted to say I hope you're eating. Okay? That's all. I hope you're eating and sleeping and taking care of yourself. Bye."
"Hey. Me again. I, uh. I saw your Instagram story. You looked happy. That's good. That's… that's really good. I'm glad. Call me if you ever want to. No pressure. Ever. Bye."
"Hey. It's Seungkwan. It's been six months. I don't even know if you have the same number anymore. But I just… I wanted to say I miss you. I miss you so much it's stupid. I'm in Japan right now and there's this café that makes the strawberry cake you used to love and I sat there for an hour like an idiot just thinking about you. Okay. That's it. I love you. I never stopped. Bye."
She had listened to that last one so many times the recording was worn thin, the audio crackling at the edges like an old vinyl record.
I love you. I never stopped.
And now here she was. Getting married. In two hours.
To someone else.
Someone kind. Someone stable. Someone who looked at her with steady eyes and steady hands and a steady heart that had never once made her feel like she was falling apart.
Someone who wasn't Seungkwan.
The morning had been a blur of chaos and tradition.
Her mother arrived at six with coffee and tears and a dress bag that held more fabric than a small tent. Her maid of honor — her best friend since college, a girl named Yuna who had watched the entire Seungkwan saga unfold in real time — had spent an hour doing her makeup while muttering "don't cry don't cry don't cry" under her breath like a mantra.
Then the photographer came. Then the florist. Then her aunt who pinched her cheeks and said "you look so thin, are you eating?"
And through all of it, her phone sat face-up on the vanity table, screen dark, waiting.
She had texted him at 9:47 AM.
At 9:48 AM, it said Delivered.
At 9:52 AM, it said Read.
Her heart had stopped.
She watched those two words appear beneath her message like a door cracking open. She imagined him sitting wherever he was — maybe in his dorm, maybe in a practice room, maybe in a café — picking up his phone, seeing her name, reading her words.
I am getting married in 2 hours. if you want to change something… some love.
She imagined his face. The way his eyebrows would pull together. The way his lips would part slightly. The way his hand would tremble just a little as he held the phone.
And then she waited.
One minute.
Five.
Ten.
Thirty.
Her phone never buzzed.
Her mother called her name from downstairs. The car was here. It was time.
She picked up her phone one last time. Opened their chat. Stared at the single blue bubble sitting there, lonely and unanswered.
Maybe he's on his way, she thought. Maybe he's driving right now, speeding through traffic, desperate to stop me. Maybe he'll burst through the church doors at the last second, breathless and beautiful, and say my name like a prayer.
She slipped the phone into her clutch and walked out the door.
The ceremony was beautiful.
White flowers everywhere. Candlelight. Her groom waiting at the altar with tears in his eyes. Her mother sobbing in the front row. Everything a wedding was supposed to be.
She walked down the aisle in a haze, her heels clicking against the marble floor, her bouquet trembling in her hands. She looked at the doors at the back of the church. Once. Twice. Three times.
They never opened.
She said "I do."
She kissed her husband.
She became someone else's wife.
And somewhere in the back of her mind, a tiny voice whispered: He read it. He knows. Why didn't he come?
She never got an answer.
A year later, she found herself walking through a cemetery.
It wasn't planned. She wasn't visiting anyone. Her husband was away on a business trip — three days in Tokyo, meetings and dinners and late nights she was grateful to miss. She had taken the long way home from work, her car drifting down streets she'd never noticed before, until she found herself parked at the gates of an old cemetery tucked behind a row of oak trees.
Their branches tangled overhead like forgotten promises, casting long shadows across the headstones.
She told herself she was just stretching her legs. The drive had been long. The air was crisp and cool. A walk would clear her head.
She stepped through the iron gates.
The cemetery was old. Some of the headstones dated back to the 1800s, their engravings worn smooth by time and weather. Others were newer, polished granite with fresh flowers placed in front of them — roses, lilies, chrysanthemums. Loved ones remembered.
She wandered aimlessly, her hands tucked into the pockets of her coat, her breath misting in the cold air. She read names as she passed. Kim. Park. Choi. Lee. Strangers whose stories she would never know.
She almost turned back.
But something made her keep walking.
Deeper into the cemetery, past the well-tended plots, past the newer graves with their colorful flowers and handwritten notes. Toward the back, where the hedges grew thick and wild, where the grass was longer and the headstones were fewer.
And there, almost completely hidden behind a cluster of overgrown hedges, she found a grave.
It was alone.
No other graves near it. No flowers. No notes. Just a simple headstone, clean and plain, with none of the elaborate carvings or engravings that decorated the others.
She almost didn't look at the name.
But her eyes drifted down anyway.
And the world stopped.
Boo
Her breath caught.
Boo Seungkwan
No.
Her knees buckled. She grabbed onto the headstone to steady herself, her palm pressing flat against the cold granite as if she could warm it back to life. As if she could reach through the stone and touch him.
No. No, this isn't real. This can't be real.
Her eyes raced down the engraving.
Beloved son, brother, and friend
You left too soon
Below that, the cause of death.
Motorcycle accident.
And below that, the date.
October 14.
Her wedding day.
The world tilted violently. She fell to her knees, her hands gripping the edges of the headstone, her forehead pressing against the cold surface. The tears came before she could stop them — hot and fast and uncontrollable, streaming down her face and dripping onto the grass.
He had read her text.
He had gotten on his motorcycle.
He had been rushing to her.
He was coming to stop the wedding.
She didn't know if he was going to burst through the church doors. She didn't know if he was going to beg her not to go through with it. She didn't know if he was going to tell her he loved her one last time or just stand there with that stupid, beautiful smile and say "I'm here. I'm sorry it took me so long."
She would never know.
Because he never made it.
He had died on the road somewhere, his motorcycle twisted and broken, his phone probably still open to her message. Dying with her words on his screen.
I am getting married in 2 hours. if you want to change something… some love.
He must have been in such a hurry.
He must have been so desperate to reach her.
He died trying to get to me.
The sob that tore out of her was raw and animal, a sound she didn't recognize as her own. She curled into herself, her body shaking, her hands still pressed against his name as if she could hold onto him.
Seungkwan. You fool. You beautiful, reckless fool.
Why did you try to come?
Why did you love me so much that you died for it?
She stayed there until the sun went down.
The cemetery caretaker found her hours later, still kneeling in front of the grave, her voice hoarse from crying, her fingers numb from the cold. He helped her to her feet, asked if she needed him to call someone.
She shook her head.
She couldn't speak.
Because the only person she wanted to call was buried six feet under the ground, and he wasn't coming back.
She went back the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that.
She brought flowers — the strawberry-pink roses he used to buy her from that little shop near his dorm. She brought his favorite strawberry cake too, the one from the café in Japan he had mentioned in his voicemail. She sat cross-legged on the grass and ate it while she talked to him.
"I'm sorry I didn't reply to your voicemails."
"I'm sorry I said I needed space."
"I'm sorry I didn't call you back."
"I'm sorry I got married."
"I'm sorry you died trying to stop me."
The wind rustled through the oak trees above her, and she pretended it was him answering.
She never told her husband where she went. She never explained the tears she cried in the shower, or the way she flinched whenever someone mentioned motorcycles, or the strawberry cake she kept buying even though she never finished a single slice.
Some grief was too big for words.
Some love was too big for this world.
And somewhere, in a place she couldn't reach, she hoped Boo Seungkwan knew that she had loved him too.
