No one was to blame for what happened… It was all a matter of missed connections, bad timing, blundering in the dark. We were always in the right place at the wrong time, the wrong place at the right time, always just missing each other, always just a few inches from figuring the whole thing out. That’s what the story boils down to, I think. A series of lost chances. All the pieces were there from the beginning, but no one knew how to put them together.

i still find myself thinking about you at night. during the middle of the day. whenever i find time and even when i’m busy. it’s strange, don’t you think? you hurt me so much but i still fond over every little thing about you. if only you knew what i’m still going through because of you. you weren’t even mine but god, i wish you were.

For the rest of my life I will be forced to watch you love others in the way I want to be loved. For the rest of my life I will have to sit back and wonder how I will ever get over you. For the rest of my life I will have to continue knowing you don’t love me, because I can’t make you love me.
