The amount of transphobes that just don't know anything about swords or fencing is fucking killing me. Firstly, alot of fencing competitions are gender neutral. Secondly even if someone who did have a massive strength advantage entered a fencing competition that still wouldn't help them too much because a duel with swords is very rarely decided on strength. It doesn't matter how strong you are, if your opponent hits you that's a point for them. Fencing is won entirely by fucking knowing how to fence, shockingly.
Also, anybody commenting "Why is her hair greasy. She needs to wash her hair" needs to step outside the house like atleast once in their life. Girl just won a fencing competition and she was wearing one of these 👇 the whole time

I love the thought that after containing the taumeoba spread on his ship and realizing that Rocky has the same problem only worse, Grace calculates his possible trajectory to rocky, washes up, sits down and thinks. He can go home or he can die. He can save earth and doom his best friend and his best friend's planet, or he can maybe save earth (he can't be sure that the beetles work) and definitely save rocky and his planet.

For anyone who's still around and wants to be educated, "narcissism" is a personality disorder, which is a fancy way of saying that it's a way of existing, which has real disadvantages, but which has also been effectively criminalized by the medicarceral system. If you hate narcissists, you are complicit in the ongoing social processes which deny them bodily autonomy, human connection, and basic dignity.
Narcissism/being narcissistic/having NPD is not a moral failing. Treating narcissistic people like shit is.
If you don't have NPD it's actually more important you reblog this. It's been really great seeing a lot of people with NPD react to this really positively, but I need everyone who does not have NPD to enforce this for their own blogs too.
-NPD has one of the highest suicide rates of any mood related disorder; slightly less impulsivity based attempts than BPD, but NPD sufferers are more likely to succeed in their attempts.
-NPD, like most cluster B disorders, is generally traumagenic, meaning it usually develops as a means of coping with childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect.
-"Narc abuse" is pop psychology with no real basis in reality. NPD sufferers are infinitely more likely to be abused than become abusers, and are typically more prone to self destructive than anything.
-If your parents sucked shit, it's because they *chose* to treat you like shit, not because they had a magic version of NPD that makes them a Bad Person. sorry you had to find out this way.
-Random people online with NPD aren't your parents and it's really creepy to project your trauma onto them.

Wait wait wait I realised this may not be common knowledge so I want to share it. If you're making something and you want to make sure it is visually accessible contrast-wise, take an image of it and reduce the saturation to zero then stand back to the distance someone would realistically view it.
I should be very clear that this is not an exact replica of how someone with colourblindness of any type or other visual symptoms would see this -- this is just a hack to help a person with normal vision figure out contrast. I have VSS and my other diagnoses affect my eye muscles so having multiple types of contrast (e.g., colour as well as lightness or colour as well as texture) is really important even though my vision is relatively normal by optometrist standards.
One of the funniest things about Mormonism is that I’m sure Joseph Smith never believed any of the bullshit he said. There are some religions and cults where you have faith the original prophet actually thought they were talking to angels or believed the set of principles they laid out for their followers were for the greater good. Joseph Smith was a dumbass but like PT Barnum he realized a sucker was born every day and he was one step above the average 1830s sucker. He went from making people pay him to look at a rock in a top hat and ‘locate buried treasure’ to receiving lost bits of scripture, through the rock and top hat method. His wife caught him cheating and he said an angel visited him and told him men should be allowed multiple wives and not obeying that would send her to hell. I’m fairly convinced that dude was an atheist. He was on that hustler grindset. Brigham Young might have actually believed some of the shit he said but I don’t think Joseph Smith genuinely had faith in Mormonism or gave a fuck about humanity in the slightest.
