Guess who finally started watching a playthrough of v3 and finished the first trial

This might be one of the dumbest things I've ever made (and that's saying something)

I am just so impressed by how organically and efficiently the monster world is set up and explained, and how everything makes sense. (Although we don’t really know how the whole scream to energy thing works but it doesn’t really matter) In their world there’s an energy crisis because children aren’t scared as easily since they’re desensitized by modern media, and the monsters can’t collect as many screams because of that. There are headlines about Monsters, Inc. as a company leading to power outages in the news, so as a PR move/ effort to get more employees, they put out the commercial we see at the beginning of the movie. The new trainees for the company don’t really know what they’re doing and need a lot of help, likely because Monsters, Inc. is in a mad dash to hire new employees and have more monsters scaring to collect more screams. It’s all just such an amazing way to give exposition to the audience without making it seem forced. Everything that’s explained has a reason for being included other than just the audience’s benefit. I really love this movie so much and I would genuinely use it as an example of efficient scriptwriting in a film class.

This might be my favorite exchange of the new series. There’s just something so strangely comforting and real about it that keeps bringing me back I love it
