I feel like we need to talk more about how fucking boring depression can be. I pick up a book and can’t read more than a few sentences, a chapter if I’m lucky, before I can’t focus. I knit two rows of something and then can’t continue. I scroll through all the different options of shows I haven’t watched without clicking on any of them. I hop from app to app looking for content that will spark literally any single emotion. It’s not even 10am and I already feel like I’m just waiting until it’s time to go back to bed.

my phone has been dead for a day (charger broke, new one coming soon) and i'm now realizing how much you need your phone to use social media even if you're on desktop. i'm currently unable to sign into at least two websites because their ONLY verification methods involve your phone--either your phone number for a text or interacting with a mobile app in some way. ridiculous

#it makes me so unreasonably violent when I have to sign into a website and the only option is to send a code to my phone I don't keep on me #just had this moment 15 minutes ago where i got an email. that led me to the website. to verify my email. with a code. sent to my email.#i verified the code. and it told me to log in. from the page i just verified. i logged in with my email and password. cannot sign in withou #NEW CODE SENT TO YOUR PHONE

The idea of Mario and Peach having any kind of relationship beyond the occasional kiss on the nose and "mama mia" is like viscerally incomprehensible to me

Not like in a prude way I just can't conceive of Mario experiencing... urges. He's a character outside the scope of that. I'm not saying he's asexual either cause positioning him on the allo/ace spectrum implies that it's a dimension of his character that at least exists, that he has at some point noticed it. I think he just jumps.
