Hey everyone!

Obviously I don’t need to tell you that my posting has been... spotty.

Really it started getting spotty halfway through the active season of the blog, but lately it’s been pretty abysmal, and I figured I’d just give everyone an update on why that is and the direction of the blog from here.

Firstly, the original spottiness and what you could call the impetus of my posting problems. I’m not going to elaborate much more beyond saying that I felt like I had a story full of potential, but through last-minute choices and nerves... it got away from me. I didn’t feel like I was saying what I wanted to anymore, and it discouraged me from continuing.

Secondly, lately I’ve simply been focused on other things, both real-world and fandom based. I don’t use social media much at all anymore, so both this tumblr and my personal art account have been pretty bare. 

Finally, the direction I’d like to take this blog- no more linear story. It’s become too convoluted and silly for my taste, so I’m going to scrap it altogether. This blog is going to be dedicated to drawings, sketches, and story bits of Black as well as my other Irken characters. Any questions or asks about/for Black are still highly encouraged because they will help me to develop him further- we just aren’t going to do a storyline anymore. I’ll post snippets here and there for everyone to enjoy, and probably reveal some of his backstory that I’ve been trying and failing to hint at in the blog. 

With that all out of the way, I want to thank you all for sticking with me for these many inactive months! I could not be where I am now without this blog, or without you.
