Let's close down all but one gun shop in every state and make him travel hundreds of miles, take time off work, and stay overnight in a strange town to get a gun. Make him walk through a gauntlet of people holding photos of loved ones who were shot to death, with people shouting at him that he's a murderer, begging him not to buy a gun.
It make more sense to do this with young men and guns than with women and healthcare, right? I mean, no woman getting an abortion has killed a room full of people in seconds.

The man will most likely not follow. I have done this one 2 times and can be very helpful.
If you are unsure she needs help, you can pass her a note saying something like “hey, I noticed this man beside you is making you uncomfortable. If you’d like help, fake a sneeze right now and I will come up to you and pretend we are friends.” This is a long note, but its an example. Be discrete. If she follows along, proceed with the previous tip. This is helpful when you’re in a crowded train and you notice harassment.

Just saw a video explaining why putting a key between each finger is more likely to hurt you than them (the keys will just get pushed back into your knuckles). A better way to hold them is to get your longest key and just clench your hand around it, like you’re making a fist. That’ll give you a lot more force and means you can use them in more scenarios (if someone grabs you from behind, you can use the key this way)
If you are being followed, go to somewhere with high security like a jewellery store or a bar, if you can, and say what’s happening (the jewellery store and bar are best shots because they’re the most likely ones to believe you, the bar for obvious reasons and the jewellery store because there’s not likely to be a huge presence of toxic masculinity so you’ll be believed)

I was 13 when I noticed this man was approaching me at bus station. If was few minutes before my bus arrived. Small town, empty station. It was after dark and I was alone. 13 years old. He was more than 60 I guess.
I saw some people suddenly appearing from around the corner and I started walking towards them. I heard man behind me go ‘you bitch’. When he saw I was heading towards those people, he stopped following me. I waited for my bus at the nearest bus stop, where I walked, it was only like 500.
Always listen to your instincts and head towards group of people. Kidnappers wont risk witnesses.
Also, if you can, punch the eyes, nose, or jaw when trying to get away from someone. Eyes blind, nose disorients, and where the head goes, the body follows and the jaw is a perfect place for that.

A victim told HuffPost that the agitated driver careened into protesters on purpose in downtown Cedar Rapids. At least one person was hospitalized.
A truck driver careened into a group of demonstrators in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Friday as they crossed the street during an otherwise peaceful protest of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
The unidentified male driver of a Ford truck rammed into several protesters — all of them women — at the tail end of a procession, rolling over one woman’s ankle and sending her to the hospital, witnesses said.
“He tried to murder them,” said a local journalist and witness to the attack, Lyz Lenz. “These women see him coming and a bunch of people put their hands out to stop him. And he just keeps going.”
Multiple witnesses, including one of the victims, described the scene in interviews with HuffPost: The male driver was waiting behind several cars at a red light downtown as a throng of protesters crossed the street.
He became “impatient,” as several witnesses said, and hit the gas, maneuvering around several cars to ram protesters.
Video taken by Linn County Supervisor Stacey Walker shows several women standing in front of the truck with their arms outstretched, trying to get the driver to stop. But the driver keeps pushing forward and bowls them over, injuring several of them…
City Councilwoman Ashley Vanorny confirmed that Cedar Rapids police had been called and were investigating.
They reportedly interviewed the driver Friday night but no arrests were made.
Several witnesses argued that the attack was motivated by anger over the protest, which was just one of many that flared up across the nation after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood on Friday.
Molly Monk, a witness, told HuffPost that the man didn’t give any audible indication that he was anti-abortion, “but he did go out of his way to hit protesters in the street who had very visible, very clear signs that they were pro-choice…”
In the last 43 years, anti-abortion activists have committed at least 11 murders, 26 attempted murders, 956 known threats of harm or death, 614 stalking incidents and four kidnappings, according to the National Abortion Federation. The supposedly “pro-life” movement has bombed 42 abortion clinics, set fire to 194 and made 667 bomb threats.

I’ve been having a hard time dealing with the news of yesterday.
If you don’t know. The Supreme Court over turned roe vs wade, removing the federal coverage and right of abortion in the United States. This gives the power back to individual states which I believe as of now 13 have added trigger laws that will ban abortion in those states almost immediately.
I live in Canada, and my heart and soul ache for America right now.
My friends and loved ones down there and every citizen capable of bearing children my heart goes to you. This news is tragic.
This blog has never been a political one but human rights are not political and so I ask you kindly that if yesterdays news brought you joy, to unfollow and remove yourself from this blog.
