I lovvveee him <3 but he does have a long way to go in terms of acting. I don’t think he has signed any projects.. he is more of a director than an actor anyway. He directs commercials, corporate ads, music videos etc.. he is always sharing them on his page in case you want to check them out lol but yeah, acting is pretty much secondary since he prioritizes direction.. a project has to be really special for him to take it up. I would love to see him on screen again though!

fawad considers Akbari Asghari his career best performance - this was before his bollywood debut - do you agree?
Sure! I think he was great in all of his dramas, I personally never doubted his acting abilities but I understand why he considers Akbari Asghari his best performance; AA and even Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan show just how versatile he can be and it’s sad that after these dramas, his comic side never got explored. He kind of got stuck in the clueless husband category; don’t get me wrong, I think he was brilliant in ZGH and Humsafar. He humanized his characters with a lot of nuance and gave them a lot more substance than they might initially have on paper but I think even Fawad would agree that the heart of these dramas are it’s female characters. Even today, ZGH is remembered for Kashaf’s struggle, her diaries and growth.. she is still considered one of the most relatable characters to the modern woman.. I would go as far and say Fawad was really the “eye candy” in these shows lol in retrospect, Fawad got out just at the right time.. that was also the time when things started going downhill for Pakistani dramas and continue to do so, sadly.
