Life update

This past week I broke up with my boyfriend. Unfortunately it was not a good situation. His anger issues had me too scared to tell him so I had to ghost him.

In hindsight I’m looking back and seeing so many red flags that I blatantly ignored because I was so in love. The biggest being he found me too annoying when I just wanted him to spend time with me and hold my hand. And yet I’m sitting here thinking maybe it wasn’t that bad, I’m just overreacting and I dumped him over nothing. I know in my heart I made the right decision, given that my family and all my friends agree this was the right thing to do, they’d seen first hand how depressed I was getting. I still love him and want to go back so badly. This is going to be a long process to get over this I think.

So, I watched the new season of dragon prince and I'm gonna be honest... It felt pretty lackluster to me.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like this was the weakest season of the show. It was just... off. The pacing felt weird, a lot of the jokes didn't really land for me and I was definitely expecting something more after a three year wait. There certainly were good scenes and fun moments and character interactions but as a whole it just didn't quite do it for me.

I understand that this new season is more of an introduction into a new arc of the story and they are setting new things up, but I feel like they did a much better job in season 1 than they did here.

Sure hope that season 5 will be better
