been going back through your hetalia art because im obsessed with your portrayl of pruita. im not the biggest fan of pruita (def dont hate it, just never seek it out really), but im so happy you make italy smart and emotive. one of my FAVOURITE pieces of yours is the one with gil giving him the dagger. i dont know how to describe my feelings for it, but its so beautiful and the expressions are phenomenal
aside from pruita however, im wondering why you give arthur an eyepatch? i really like this hc and may adopt it myself (if thats alright) im just curious as to why you do it ?
It's been so long since I draw pruita but I'm glad you like my portrayal of them!
About Arthur's eyepatch. From lore reason, he lost his eye to a blitzkrieg. This gives him and his 'sons' (Alfred, Matthew) reason for vengeance. Another reason is bc I think he looks cool with an eyepatch, it gave him more character and backstory. If you look closely on my drawings with him, you can also see his ear is chipped! From the same blitz.
I'm sure I'm not the first person who give Arthur an eyepatch, so feel free to draw him with an eyepatch too. :)

I don't have an answer to that bc I intend for him to die after the USSR collapse or the reunification lol... My 'story' (idk what to call it. Like how each person has their own version of hetalia. Headcanons? AU?) is not set in stone though, I mostly don't know what to do with it, so I just experiment with different outcomes.
