But I will say that his defense attorney failed him greatly. An all white jury is not a jury of his peers and again before you come at me talking about racism or whatever you don't understand and you will never understand if you're not black what it means to have a fear. A genuine fear for your life when you are approached by aggressive white people. I never know what their intent is.. me personally if they came at me, I would have swung on them. It's a shame that most kids don't fight instead of pull out guns and knives, but that's neither here nor there and the terribly sad thing about it is at the end of the day, two families are ruined. One young man has lost his life literally and the other young man has lost his life through incarceration. Where were the coaches? There's a lot more accountability that needs to be there again. I'm not saying that he should have been innocent because again he took someone's life so there must be consequences. But first degree murder that indicates that he went there with the intent to kill and that is not what happened. This is is two 17-year-old boys with hair on their nuts and neither one of them wanting to back down. They should have just duked it out and called it a day. But here we are …while Rick Chow runs free. THAT was first degree murder because he actually chased someone down and shot them in the back. He had the intent to kill. SEE THE DIFFERENCE
