"Jus' a solid block?" And now he's giggling, which is more than likely a sign that he likes the other. Oh, boy. "I'd love to see it, this block of heart. Oh, are we? Good." He grinned, but his expression turned into a more thoughtful one when he realized it was his turn to name a fact. "Oh, um...Huh. When I was 'bou' 19 or so, I was doin' this real intricate piercin', right? Real nice lady, but I didn't think she was gonna make it through the whole thing. It was real intense, in her defense. Right before the last piercing was put in, she fainted and woke up with a mighty fear of piercings, which sure was a problem. A day later, I had a client freak out so bad during a tattoo that they had to go to the hospital. That was when I decided I'd never get anything done, myself."

How what? [Kieran kept his face somewhat innocent, but he couldn’t help the gleam in his eye.] Surely you can think of a few ways. Moonlit walks can easily turn into tumbles, and simple conversation can lead to some heated lip locking. All it takes is some initiative and lust.

Daniel smiled, nudging his arm gently. “Well… My parents were pretty chill about… Parenting in general. I mean— they were great but they had their own personal problems and so I’d ask for certain things and they’d just wave their hand for me to leave and say ‘sure.’ It started out as the Chinese symbol for books but then I changed my mind halfway through and I was like ‘I don’t know what to do with thiiiisss.’ and the dude was like, ‘well, I can turn it into a heart,’ and voila.”

Allen knew the feeling of being waved off by parents. Not that he'd bring it up. he was happy, wasn't he? And, happy people shouldn't focus on things that weren't happy. That was the number one rule of being happy. He nudged Daniel's arm right back in a way he hoped would come off as reassuring. He laughed at the story, pressing his face briefly against Daniel's. "That's... wow, that's great. Is it a good heart, at least?"

This whole innocence thing is kind of adorable. I should start a calender and see how long it lasts. [He grinned again at the shiver.] Anything can be, and this place doesn’t have a dull moment. The exciting part is something you’ve got t’strive for and easier to achieve if you’re willing to get a little dirty along the way. [Kieran smirked, waiting for the reaction.]
