What if What if the humans in pokemon are pokemon too. Here's my theory, meowth in the anime can't battle but he can talk and it's the same with detective pikachu, he can't battle but he can talk, so, what if humans in the past were able to battle like other pokemon but suddenly one human learned how to talk and he make all the others talk and seeing how you can't do both things (battle and talk) they decided to just talk and evolved like that(Darwinism) that would explain how in the ancient times there was no distinction between pokemon and humans that they even would get married and have families. Maybe I didn't explained myself clearly but this was a random thought in the morning when I was asleep
