A Slice in the Life of Clare

After 7 years, I can see myself working as an accountant. Not so sure about what branch of accounting yet, but maybe not in the academe. I feel like I passed CPALE at my first take and I am already in Manila working for a known company. I am living in a condo located near Taguig or wherever close to the company. I think I would bring my mom and dog with me because I cannot go without them for too long, I would miss them too much. I am a mama's girl and I like to take my pet too because by that time he would be old. Also, I think I cannot travel much in the province because I will be focused on work. As for my lovelife, I feel like I would have said yes to my suitor by that time and he would already be my boyfriend. But after 7 years, I think I don't want to think about marriage yet because I want to focus on building my career. After gaining experience at the company I'm working at, I feel like I would be offered an opportunity to work abroad which I would gladly take. My dream is to travel and I hope that after 7 years, I am already a few steps closer to achieving that. But of course, the future is uncertain so for now, I am going with flow and letting the tide take me where it takes me.

A memorable experience I will never forget is when I entered a competition for 'Buwan ng Wika' for the PPOP category. Through this competition, I really got to close my seniors who are very welcoming and kind-hearted. Because of them, I had so much fun and made me want to join more competitions here at SHC in the future. I am also very glad that I took the opportunity to join because I gained new knowledge, new friends, and new experiences. I am enjoying school life so far, even though at times, yes, it can be difficult, but I do not worry so much because I have my friends with me. I feel like I can overcome anything with their presence and comfort.

I am Clarisse Anne but you can call me "Clare" for short. My friends call me that or just my first name. I cannot disclose my age for privacy reasons but I am already in college. I am pursuing Bachelor of Science in Accountancy studying at Sacred Heart College. I am the youngest in our family and the only girl from my siblings. I have 3 brothers and my mom and dad are already senior citizens. My hobbies are playing the ukulele, reading novels, mobile gaming, and playing with my pet. I have one dog and I love him so much. I also like to dance and sing, although I'm not that great at it. My favorite color is anything but make it pastel. Also, I like to watch movies and series in my free time, be it ghibli, animated, slice of life, or anything. Series that I particularly like are Gilmore Girls, Modern Family, Bridgerton, Anne With An E, and many more. I also like reading manhuas, but right now I do not have the time. I actually like the subject science, particularly the branch of chemistry and biology. Probably because of my teachers back in SHS who made the subject more fun. My favorite food is pizza and my favorite drink is milktea. Kind of common but I really love it and makes my mood happy. That's all I can think about me, for now.
