š 5 easy glamour incantations š
I've been using these since forever and they work incredibly! Feel free to accommodate them to what resonates with you :)
I mostly say these phrases in my mind over and over again as I'm applying a certain product, you can say them out loud as well. Playing affirmations in the background can also work really well when you're putting that intention into your makeup! ļ¼Ė¶ā²ā”āµĖ¶ļ¼
As you apply highlighter: "My essence shines through"
As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words are sweet. Everyone pays attention when I'm speaking"
As you apply lipstick/gloss/balm: "My words flow perfectly. Speaking my mind perfectly comes easy for me"
As you apply mascara: "These eyes see everyone's true essence. These eyes see through facades"
As you apply blush: "I am confident and assertive"
Remember to have fun with these! I mostly use these ones every time I'm putting on my makeup because they always work for me. However you can change them up to whatever intention you're setting for that day! Glamour magic helps me connect with my inner child and inner essence and I hope it has that effect on you as well ĖĖŹ(Ā“ā”`)ÉĖ Lmk how these go for you! ā”

cutest moment of my life šøšš
Me. My photo x_x
i remember being like 11 and asking my dad why he hunts and kills deer and he saidĀ ābecause i think theyre beautifulā and thatās just. thatās just what men are like
Yeah⦠&?
Is it any different that women seeing cute things & wanting to squish their face?
Is killing different than endearing physical contact? Local man unsure
I really like ⦠many aspects of hunting. And I think animals are beautiful. may I present
What is the point of mounting something like this sad, gross, proof that you will end a beautiful life for no good reasonā¦.Ā
when you could frame you up a trophy like the photo below !?Ā
This takes at least as much skill, and involves all the same wilderness stalking. It proves that you are both brave AND compassionate. Thereās no downside to doing this instead. Imagine you go to somebodyās home, and they have a trophy room filled with beautifully composed close up photos of wolves and deer and boar and eagles and things all over the walls, with a couple camera guns mounted up there too - on one wall is a photo of a standing bear who obviously sees the person taking the photo and itās been blown up so the bear is life size (thatās why you need that gun-barrel lens, so the quality holds up when you enlarge the pic) The person you are visiting is like, āyeah, I took all these.ā THATās impressive. A room full of dead things just means they are weird and gross and pointlessly cruel and proud of it.
My dad goes out into the woods and takes pictures all the time. He still calls itĀ āhuntingā and when he comes home, he literally says āHey, look at what i shot!ā So doing this allows not only for great photos and time with nature, but also an A+ Dad Joke.
I swear to god if I keep seeing this stupid āDurr hurr hunting badā post on my dashboard Iām going to go nuclear.
your father answered a question when you were 11 in a way which could be as quick and easy to understand as possible. ābecause they are beautifulā. many hunters do have extreme respect for their quarry - itās expensive to get the bust of a deer you hunted taxidermied by a professional, and that professional will take hours making sure itās as life like as possible.
itās true itās scummy if thatās the ONLY reason he hunted, but it almost certainly wasnāt. very few people hunt for trophies alone, and even when they do it is normally deer, which NEED to be hunted in the United States and the UK to control populations as we no longer have any predators for them. the meat from deer is usually the main drive - I canāt speak on predator hunting like bear, but I do know the taking of bears and lynxses are highly regulated and expensive. hunting is not a bad thing. not to mention the main reason is for food.
and that stupid gun-camera thing? no doubt more expensive than a license, and a gun, and paying for a bag of pheasants after a shoot. and you canāt eat photographs. wildlife photography is a lot of fun, but it isnāt for everyone, and the insinuation that āyou could just have photographs instead of gross taxidermy!ā is insulting to the Taxidermists and artists who spent years of their life learning how to best preserve an animal which will have died anyway. actually fuck that entire narrative - a room full of natural history doesnāt make you gross. I own a cabinet full of skulls from naturally found animals as well as byproducts of hunting and cleaning them myself is a time consuming, delicate task, and I do it because I have a profound love for animals and nature. I find it fascinating seeing how theyāre built and how they work, and the vast majority of people who have a collection are nature lovers who know more about the natural world than most people and certainly arenāt spitting āhunting bad!ā rhetoric.
TL;DR this post is full of clowns, hunting is necessary and tightly regulated, hunters are not cruel heartless monsters and neither are people who own taxidermy, they are by and large people putting food on plates or learning about the world. sincerely, someone who is ā"pointlessly cruel and proud of itāā
