Life. It Be Like That Sometimes

So I lost my job in the end of June. Because I received a personal loan for the cost of my new dentures, I did not receive a final paycheque.

I can fight it but it will take months. And if I do, he comes after me for the denture loan. So…?

I am looking for a new job but it’s been tough. The hiring markets are difficult and I don’t have a lot of what the world considers a marketable set of skills.

My rent for July is half paid. Working with the rent bank to cover the amount due and also trying to get August rent covered. I received a cheque last week from my insurance company for partial payment of the dentures. I put it in the bank and waited. Today I got a letter that they denied the coverage and put a stop payment on the cheque so it bounced.

So now my bank is frozen. Love that for me.

I’m fucking tired dude. I’m sick of struggling. I just want a regular income and a budget and to be able to breathe instead of begging people for money every day to feed my family.

I am beyond grateful to those that have helped us and more than blessed to have people that can.

I will repay everyone. I swear I will. I just need to land on my damn feet.

Waiting for social assistance so we don’t starve in the meantime.
