April days of productivity - 25/30
I sometimes fall into despair thinking that I donāt really study psychology due to the online nature of my degree. Today sorting out all the papers Iāve annotated gave me a bit of a wake up call. Gosh, Iāve read so much for this degree! When things quiet down in May Iād like to go through all my annotations. I think they might give me a hint as to what to write my thesis about āŗļø

there was a time when i could waste my time living vicariously through someone elseās eyes. their life, their style, i could dive in for hours on end until midnight. my phone screen lit up against the whiteness of my roomās walls, i would watch and study how aesthetic their life seemed to be.
unfortunately i do not have the time to waste time anymore. i have to live through my own eyes, my own aesthetic, my own world.

13.04.26. šš· spring has fully arrived! and with it my first productive writing day in what feels like forever. i enjoyed some homemade carrot cake and a london fog while writing and i think that helped motivate me :)
Heading into the final stretchā¦ itās been a tough semester but I learned a lot and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Conferences had me in Toronto this spring. It's not usually a city that I enjoy but it's such a good city to work in. It makes me feel like an actual adult.

today is also the one year anniversary of fracturing my spine and it's pretty much completely healed, minus some stiffness in my shoulder muscles from standing or sitting weird. but i'm very grateful the injury wasn't worse and that i'm fine now!

overpriced energy drink + research on TB antibiotics + 10 page chem paper to write. a long day ahead, but it's a fun way to wrap up my time in undergrad.

Another day another slay except I'm the one getting slain by the conference poster. I just can't. Arrange. All the objects. Argh! No matter where I put everything I just don't like the way it looks. But there's still time, so we roll. I have to finish the last presentation (hopefully tomorrow) and then actually present it (Wednesday) + I have a big final on Friday so really, I have more urgent things to take care of. Made myself a bracelet to take my mind off academics for a bit and I'm quite happy with the result, given my absolute lack of artistic skill lol
Been pretty quiet on here these past few days. Not doing a lot; struggling to get the bare minimum done. Still being consumed by The Pitt- I am Robby & he is me. Iāll finish the show once Iām done with studying for today. For now Iām glad that I managed to get at least something doneā¦
to do: study for culstud exam (4ish days left), 1x essay outline, exercises on citation, tasks for didactics class, essay for litstud
