Lost in the Sauce

   –> “I didn’t know that, actually. Alfredo’s a pretty interesting name, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone with that name.” He glances around the bar, checking to make sure there’s no one else who needs him. It’s only him and Alfredo at the bar, which works for him. This is a unique circumstance, Jeremiah’s pretty sure he’s entitled to a little bit of free time. “Well, yeah. When your bar tends to attract some of the pretty high profile folks,” he gestures at the Fakes gathered nearby, “you gotta keep some of the high-quality shit around.”

“High profile, for sure, but definitely not in a good way. Gotta be careful here in Los Santos, with us around.” He grins. “Those of us that keep our heads down are the smart ones... the ones that try and stay out of the public eye. Just... make sure you’re safe.”

   –> “Infinitesimal, I’m sure.” There’s a light chuckle as he slides a coaster onto the bar, then the drink of top of it. He moves, intending on going back to his computer to put his doppelganger’s order on the Fake’s tab, before hesitating and turning back to face the other. “Jeremiah. Name’s Jeremiah. Figured I should at least introduce myself.”

“Pleasure’s mine, Jeremiah.” He hums. “I’m Alfredo, but you may have already known that.” He chuckled lightly. “Everyone calls me the Sauce for a reason.” He’s gonna take the drink and sip it. “Mm. Good quality shit, right there, dude.”

Similar looks and similar tastes it seems.” He forces a light chuckle before turning to face the wall of bottles, reaching for the Jameson and opening it, pouring it out, and closing it again, then sliding it back up onto the shelf. “Fakes’ usual tab then?” He asks, turning back around to face the other.

“Mmm. Yep.” He grins. “Similar tastes? You’re kidding!” He laughs softly. “God, what are the odds I’d meet a doppleganger AND find out he and I have the same damn taste.”

“Ah, correct. I did create you, but only moved onto a more functional project that was worthy of my time. However, you can be shut down and ravaged for spare parts. Shame you’ve been littered in viruses.”
