HH Main 6 w/ Someone Who Hates Endings

Alastor

Finds this behavior almost admirable

After all, he was busy being a killer on earth and now he’s busy being a killer in hell

(Even if it’s like one or two a year but he’s gotta keep appearance and keep his power status)

He does similar with books but rather than ripping out the pages he sometimes like the speculate and make up his own ending, extended from what he read on the last page

Also makes your conversations with each other that much more entertaining

Alastor may ask you about the books you’ve read and ask what it was about

And of course he asks what the ending was about knowing you don’t know

Well the true ending at least, the written ending by the author, but loves to hear what you’ve got to say about it

May even start a mini book club with you where he finishes the ending, you don’t, and he sees how close you can get

Sometimes he broadcasts these ideas and speculations over the radio as well, he’s entertained by it all and he wants to share the entertainment

And like with his radio, he loves classics when it comes to reading

But also like with his radio, he’s into the murder aspect of it all so be prepared to read a lot of murder mysteries fiction or fact

Angel Dust

Thinks an odd behavior but doesn’t question it

It’s none of his business but also he has minor concerns you do this with all forms of paper media

Such as if you try to take his magazines, be it trashy reality or an adult shop catalog, he will likely start a fight

After awhile questions it, he got curious can you blame him?

He’ll go to sit somewhere and there’s like random pieces of paper around and none of it makes sense because it’s the end of the book

When he does finally get an answer he wanted, it’s not what he expected

He then asks what happens if the last page is only like a sentence or two like you’ve essentially read the end already and the idea of the end just minus a couple words

Ever since he finds more pages lying around…

Vaggie

Like Angel Dust didn’t really ask about it

It’s not her or Charlie’s property so it’s not like she could get mad, they were your own books, and to each their own she guesses

May pick up and read whatever is left behind from your reading wondering if it sounds familiar to her at all

But also like Angel Dust will eventually ask why you have this behavior

When she learns the truth finds it almost endearing

She knows about not wanting things to end, whenever insecurities get the best of her she has similar thoughts about her and Charlie

Or about them and this hotel

So in a way she understands, but her disconnect is real life experiences over reading fiction

If she does try to intervene in anyway, which she likely won’t, she may just take the book away from you before you can tear the page out

But again this very likely won’t happen

Unless she hears you talking about the book and wants to read it herself

And she would like to know the ending please

Charlie

Is troubled by this behavior at first

Wonders if something went wrong or that you were angry about something

But when she learned about your dislike for endings she only smiled and asked why you didn’t want to know

And expanded on similar ideas of Alastor as in making up an ending or extending the ending you just read

Also asks how these cliffhangers don’t bother you at all, in her opinion that’s worse

But she doesn’t try to directly stop your behavior, she’s never told you to quit it or anything if the such

But time to time she may come up with a different solution besides tearing out pages

From things as simple as closing the book and setting it down

Or something such as giving it to someone else to read so they can also experience the book with the ending if they’d like

May try to connect with you on the level of wasting papers and the trees

(I have no idea how paper is made in hell but I’m assuming tree)

Husk

Probably asks right away besides Alastor because he wants to know what the hell you’re doing

But when you tell him he’s the less likely to care

Remember, as of now, the only reason he’s around is because of Alastor otherwise he wouldn’t be here

What you said to him, your reasoning behind tearing the last page from books does stick with him

If he ever does find himself reading something and he closes the book as he finished it will pop in his head sometimes

Sometimes questions how your behavior would work as he reads something online

Do you just deleted or close the book on your phone or do you all put destroy the device?

Niffty

Niffty takes the longest to question the behavior

She’s an odd character with a few screws loose so the actual act doesn’t catch her attention

What does catch her attention is these loose pages lying around everywhere

With her craftiness and love of fanfic (as well as cleaning like that gets under her skin most) she’s more likely to collect the pages instead

Tries to put them together at first thinking it’s all one book

But when that doesn’t work that’s when her interest in fanfic and creativity spark

She writes her own story!

Finally asks who’s doing this so she can share her story with whomever helped her

When she learned it was you, both shared her story and asked about the behavior

(Quickly took away her fanfic upon learning the truth…)

Also offered the idea of creating your own ending

HH Charlie Coming Back to Chaos

When Charlie left she thought nothing was going to happen, that everyone would be where she left them

Alastor was in his little radio studio

Vaggie cleaning up in front with the help of Niffty

Husk half asleep behind the bar

And Angel in his room trying on clothes for his night show

You were out to her knowledge so she thought after your day at work or wherever you went, and a way to liven everybody up inside she’d go and get pizza

She would’ve just sent Razzle and Dazzle but the last time she sent them out on their own the limo was filled with donuts and nothing she asked for

So by the time she got back it was a surprise she didn’t drop the pizza she got for everyone

She never knew if Husk could fly and even then it was a mystery, but somehow he managed to get up to the high support beams

It seemed to be in effort to get away from Angel and Niffty, who were under him, Niffty smiling wider and Angel all dressed up

Not dressed up in the maid outfit he was holding up towards Husk

That was the least surprising, next was Vaggie and Alastor arguing loudly

That also wasn’t surprising, but what was surprising was the annoyance visible on Alastor’s face

It took a lot to even get those bright eyes and high eyebrows to crack and twitch with anger

And as much as she’s seen Vaggie argue she still hates it

Especially with someone as dangerous as Alastor, she’d hate anything ti happen to Vaggie even if she knows Vaggie can hold her own

What she didn’t expect was you standing casually off to the side by yourself

That part wasn’t weird, she wouldn’t blame you for staying out of the chaos

What was surprising was there you stood but there you also laid, looking unconscious

And when you casually commented you thought the you on the floor was dead his shoulders sunk as she gave up already

The amount of work and effort to put everything back and try and fix broken relationships

To try and get demons to leave other demons alone, to at least act professional around one another

To not have possibly dead demons in the hotel!

She’s much rather have a limo full of donuts than deal with everything she’s about to

Nemesis & Pyramid Head w/ a Smol Friend

Nemesis

You weren’t STARS and you weren’t infected so he didn’t bother with killing you

Why you kept following him, he didn’t exactly know

At first he ignored it, continued on with his duties to eliminate his targets, make sure nothing got in his way

(Which you weren’t, you usually stayed behind him or to his side, he never felt that got in the way of his work)

It wasn’t until you got in trouble by one of the infected did he react

For some odd reason he saved you, which surprised the both of you no doubt

But from then on he made sure to keep a closer eye on you

Usually when things got too dangerous you’d run and hide some place, some place he used to not know since he didn’t care

But now he may offer aid in helping you hide in a secure location

Or depending on what the danger is, may put you on his shoulder/back to walk through

When there isn’t any issue, the streets long abandoned by now by those alive and the dead wandering wherever to amass

Nemesis tends to get a little more confused on what to do with you

Sometimes you wander and he just waits, has no idea what you’re doing but he assumes it’s for your own survival

Sometimes you don’t go far and he ends up staring at you because he assumes you need to do something

He’s not exactly meant as something to take care of another living being he’s the opposite so he doesn’t exactly know how to provide you with what even if you expressed it

If you ever need his help with things like moving barricades, breaking down doors, opening locked storages he can help

But with the whole eating thing an apple and a rat are the same thing to him, both are biodegradable and safe for consumption… to a degree…

He watches you drink water but sometimes fails to understand the water gathered in locations from rain isn’t always the safest be it infected with blood or just dirty from infrastructure

So when you run off to get those things for yourself since he’s not the greatest at it

Nemesis does enjoy watching you

Thinks you skittering about is entertaining, so careful, so cautious

It’s like having a small pet

Just one he can’t accidentally kill unless you somehow get under his feet

Pyramid Head

He had no interest in you

He was busy with other things, keeping order in Silent Hill, to pass judgement

And you had nothing for him to judge

You weren’t part of the cult church, ostracizing the other locals just for not being a part of their cult

You were someone meant to come here to face their past selves, face the decisions they made and the results of it

Really, he had no idea why you were here or how you ended up here (he doesn’t understand the concept of lost tourists lol)

You stayed away from him for a long while, tho he did notice you especially when night came and he did his routes

Watched you panic as you tried to hide from all the other monsters of Silent Hill

And for the longest time that wasn’t his problem

Until one day, if you reminded him of Alessa, that girl bullied by the terrible people of this town

Or maybe you reminded him of Vatiel, his leader and who he responds to

Whatever it was, one night as you scattered, he slowly made his way after you

He wasn’t trying to be menacing, just walking, but you still ran at first

But you got cornered and he caught up, watching as you screamed and ran back towards him from the monsters actually looking to harm you

You never did get far tho as he caught you instead, carrying you awkwardly by the waist under his arm as he worked to swing his knife with one arm

When your threat was gone he had grabbed you by the shirt, lifting you in front of his face for him to finally observe you closely

Without a word or threatening body language, he sat you back on the ground and petted your head

From then on you followed him and he went back to ignoring your presence

The only time he acknowledged you was if you were in danger or if you tried to wander too far

No building was to be entered without him and you weren’t allowed to go ahead of him and round corners

You may be new to Silent Hill but he’s not

And the dangers that linger in the shadows can be more dangerous than himself, especially if there’s many

So tho he may ignore you for the most part, he has to admit it’s nice having you around

HH Dream Demon HCs

Alastor absolutely hates this side of you

Hates his privacy being intruded and tho they’re not direct threats he has definitely threatened you

But seeing as your both demons and can’t exactly die at the hands of each other you don’t really care

Also Charlie likes you so that’s a big plus on your side and protection wise

So you’ll continue bugging the deer man until one of you dies again

And no matter how curious you are you never stay when he has a dream of his once alive self

With his mother at home, the two of them together

It feels too personal and too weird to connect with Alastor, this ruthless all killing demon

So you’re fine staying just to get on his nerves just to pop out and continue on

Husk hardly notices

Tho he does seem to have a higher tolerance to alcohol than some, that doesn’t mean he still isn’t affected by it

They mostly affect his sleep, as in if he dreams he doesn’t remember it most the time

You can use this to your advantage, but he’s not the guy to have secrets so who cares and if he does have any you’re not really interested

He’s also no used to you because he’s better at remembering where he hid extra liquor from Charlie than where any sort of sauce is

Niffty loves having you around when she sleeps!

Doesn’t mind if it’s you dropping buy to ask her where she’s stored the sauce as she’s likely rearranged seven times this week

But even if you go in just asking for that you usually stay a little longer just to chat, she likes your company and she’s much more likely than some others here

She’s got some weird dreams tho, and you assume they’re with how she died

Lot of sewing, lot of stalking

Depending on how far in the dream she is it can unsettle you

It’s even weirded when she asks for your help

You don’t visit Angel’s dreams too often

Or rather you don’t visit his nightmares

He’s always sad, always crying and even when he’s not an in the lights and performing it always turns sour

You’ve tried to help a couple times but once he realizes it’s you he gets all mad and defensive and demands you leave

Sometimes you pretend to, not comfortable leaving him alone when he’s struggling so much on the inside

Sometimes you can hear him crying to himself, or the nightmare resuming resulting in yelling and objects thrown

And even if he was arguing with you it’s better than suffering by himself

But you also don’t want to invade

It’s not the same twisted dreams Alastor has that’s practically the same as he is in the awake world

It’s much deeper than that, much more painful

Vaggie doesn’t know how to feel about you in her dreams, but she hasn’t outwardly expressed displeasure in it

Rather just asks what you’re doing and why you’re there

If you’re asking for something she’ll tell you where it is, or if you just want to chat she’ll entertain you

Sometimes she’s more personal than the others, expressing her concerns about the hotel and Charlie

How she has nightmares of the fall of the hotel and not being enough

And you try to reassure her but only she can really ease her own stress, only she can solve her inner turmoil

But you do make it easier for her

Charlie is by far the most fun to visit

She’s always entertaining and having fun when you visit

At least when she expects you or you catch up with her to announce your presence

Finds it weird you like sauce so much, but doesn’t question it, just makes sure to stock up on it for you

She may even ask you about the whole ordeal with that since she wants to get to know you

Or may even ask about your life on earth before you came to hell

But sometimes when you don’t announce your presence right away or she doesn’t sense you, you get caught up in her nightmares, her worries

She worries about the hotel failing, worries how her father and mother will perceive her if she fails, wonders how the citizens of hell will perceive her

They already think she’s a laughingstock, this would do nothing but prove them right

And though she never openly expressed these concerns to you, as she never wants to make you gloom

You make sure she knows you can come to her if she has any problems or just wants to get something off her chest

⚠️ brief mentions of SA, nothing descriptive or the such but if you know Angel Dust’s story and theories about Vaggie it’s just mentioning they have experienced it ⚠️

Truth be told I can see her doing this, especially if she learns about the trauma Val has put Angel through! And I would love to see it as a potential bonding moment for the two of them! (Minus the fighting aval idk how strong the guy is but he is an overlord and they’re not)

I know her cause of death is all speculations right now, but the popular theory seems to be she endured some type of SA, and given what Val has done to Angel I feel like this could be like the one thing that connects them. (Well not one but like the starting point.) And I feel it would be something that she wouldn’t bring up with Charlie, like one night her and Angel just go out for revenge/closure, and it really connects the two on a deeper level saying like “hey we’re not so different you and I.” I also feel if Charlie did somehow find out, it would be one of those things where she wants to be disappointed, but just can’t be or not to the level she “should” be given the fact she is running a hotel for redemption. Especially because Vaggie and Angel are making progress, and more so Angel is making progress with his emotions and being able to express them (albeit in what would constitute as illegally to the living world where the lot of them are from) as we’ve seen Charlie both try to comfort him and him reject it (Addict video) and him try to comfort Charlie but ditch that plan (pilot).

As for Vaggie if her distrust in men is do to the fact of SA, or her immediate annoyance almost hatred of Angel since the beginning, is finally turning over a new stone then Charlie can’t be super mad at Vaggie as she’s also made progress.

Please only platonic and only if you have time to do this

Alastor’s Reuniting w/ His Sister in Hell

When you and Alastor were kids it always seemed like he was getting himself into trouble

Sure he had all the girls crushing on him, but those terrible little boys were always so jealous and would often bully him

Al never said it bothered him, would just laugh and say they’ll get what they deserved

And you may not have understood what that meant exactly

But you still felt bad for your brother, it’s not like you two had the best home life and now his school life wasn’t the greatest either

And that was besides the fact you and him were mixed (Im following the idea he’s Creole and has a light brown skin tone)

You didn’t exactly partake in school, you did your best, but most your time was focusing on helping provide for your brother rather than studying

Your mom tried but it wasn’t easy due to her heritage and your father was next to useless if he was even around the guy was drunk more often than not it seemed when he was around

And things didn’t get better as the two of you grew older

Teen years were met with Alastor talking back to your father, the two of you trying to protect your mother, which resulted in him getting in altercations with your father

He got into more than enough altercations with the neighborhood boys due to the fact the ladies seemed to be drawn to him rather than them

And to your knowledge your brother didn’t have any interest in these women

Alastor was more involved in music, specifically radio, and sometimes hunting

He somehow managed to get a job in radio, how you’re not exactly sure

Sure he was a charismatic guy but he was also standoffish

You were just glad he started to find his way

Everyday for you felt like a battle to get out of bed, your body seeming to age as rapidly as your mind had to growing up

When he moved out he offered to take you with him but you stayed home with your mother, her health starting to fail her as well

By now you don’t know what happened to your father, he left just to never come back and Alastor seemed to care less than ever

As if they guy never existed

So you couldn’t bear the thought of your mother being all alone in her time of need

It wasn’t until one day when there was a knock on your door did everything change

A man stood at the door, a man you didn’t know but he wore a police uniform

You assumed it was going to be random trouble, neighbors calling about this or that just to complain and unsettle your family

What you didn’t expect was for the officer to tell you Alastor had died in a hunting accident

And what happened next you really don’t know

The next thing you remember is waking up in a hellish world where people looked like demons and animals looked like spawns of satan

You faired no better, you looked like some sort of horse or something, somehow still human, it was all just a mess (see metaphor workhorse)

You knew no one here, everyone seemed rude, and this definitely wasn’t the place that had girls wearing skirts to their ankles and men in anything but slacks and a shirt

It took weeks… months…

You felt even more loss than when you were alive and the isolation of everything was getting to you

It wasn’t until you were at work one day, managing to find some sort of work to keep from wandering, did things change once again

Getting yelled at your boss for not cooking the order right, even tho he wrote it down wrong and instead blamed you

Everything was too much and you just wanted to die again but it seems the Executioners have no interest in you so here you were… stuck for eternity

But as your boss yelled at you you heard a family voice

At first you thought it was your imagination until you saw the swagger, the confidence

There Alastor stood, smile larger than anything you’ve ever seen as he stared down your boss

And there Alastor grew in size, limbs becoming lanky and long, antlers spouting from the top of his head, teeth managing to become sharper as that smile only grew

Nothing happened besides your boss apologizing to you before running to the back room

You stood shocked, not only equally as scared but as well surprised at what was in front of you

Your brother, someone you thought you would never see again, stood in front of you

And though he looked different, even small and more human looking than whatever you just saw, he was still as charismatic yet questionable as ever

“Well dear sister, never thought I’d see you here!” He laughed “only the scum of the earth end up in a place like this!”

You had no idea what he meant, you knew this was hell, came to terms with it, but if only he knew what you did to help the two of you survive

His shock was a reassurance of his lack of knowledge

“No matter! You mustn’t stay in a place like this, not worth your time. Come with me and I’ll make sure you never work a day in your life! Not saying you didn’t do enough of that already when we were living”

He only continued to laugh, as if everything the two of you had become was a joke

You may have not understood, and may have feared the change you sensed in Alastor

Hillbilly

When he heard you declare this was rather confused

He never really had friendships so he didn’t know much about them, really didn’t think that it was going to help right now

Like to his knowledge he has a chainsaw that can cut through a lot of things like tangible things

And the lot of you don’t exactly look like friends so for all he knew you were batshit crazy

But when you pulled out the gun did his whole demeanor change like from confusion confusion to scared confusion

Because where did the ever living fuck did you find that he thought the only gun type device allowed was by the Deathslinger!

And he may be a killer but his confidence came with the chainsaw but that was close range and a gun was long range

So don’t mind him as he slowly backs away and just takes his lashing from the Entity

A scolding is much better than getting shot

Wraith

When he first heard this whole defeating him with friendship thing he thought you may actually had something

Not like, my little pony, type of having something where suddenly you have the power of magic

But rather that the lot of you got together and made a plan, not working to just survive but working to actually defeat him

So to say he was rather intrigued was a bit of an understatement like he wanted to know what the lot of you came up with

What he didn’t expect was you to actually pull out a gun

Sorta just blinked because in no way did that involve friendship no that was just straight up a gun

The way he hit that bell of his and walked off never to be seen again

Either the Entity is slacking and letting things by

Or it’s gotten sadist even towards its killers

Trapper

Was the least impress with this whole friendship idea

He was a man of business and greed, not this whole friendship thing

Watching the four of you together, thinking you could stop him, it was almost childish but of all things it was comical

This was going to be the easiest hunt for him ever!

But when he saw that gun did everything change

He wasn’t dumb he knew the power those things held

And being the killer rather than the survivor it’s easy to say he forgot what pain felt like

Even when he stepped in his bear traps with his thick boots and thick pants they didn’t do nearly what they did to the survivors

But he wasn’t exactly wearing anything protective from the waist us

And he was a rather big target

His only solution was to camp the exits with his traps and hope for the best

But now he can’t get caught setting otherwise he’s exposed to even a stray bullet

Dwight

When he first heard you declare this he thought about running

He knew this whole friendship thing was bs, they’ve been here for years and no matter how many friendships they’ve developed they’re still stuck

Yea the friendship makes it easier after going back to the campfire but it doesn’t make anything any less painful and it definitely doesn’t defeat a killer

Back home to the real world and not this hell

Similar to the Trapper couldn’t believe this bs you were trying to pull

You planning to sit down and have a tea party with the killer?

Try and act like their therapist? Try to sit down and ask what’s wrong and why they’re killing

She was about to give herself up right there and then

When you pulled that gun out tho she didn’t know what to think

Actually she did! It practically took her everything not to snatch it out of your hands and finally shoot these bastard killers!

Oh to finally be able to give them an ounce of pain they’ve been causing them all this time!

To finally be able to fight back instead of just run!

This was the better than anything any sport could provide because this has just been a terrible painful game of tag so far but now the rules are finally changing

Claudette

She was the most hopeful but in a sorta given up way

Like they’ve tried everything else maybe you had something else, maybe you finally found the answer to this hellscape

It may have no been exact science or a probable hypothesis but after everything they’ve been through it seems like all she knew before was fake or some sort of lie

What she didn’t expect was for you to pull out a gun

It made her mind draw a blank for once, she didn’t know how to react so her body just said no reaction

Can’t even begin to think where you got it, can’t even begin to think of it works

A small part of her even thought it may have been fake given their luck

But the least she could do was hope it was real

Jake

Looked at you like you were some child

Like really? You really think this is some fantasy where if you all get along things will be okay?

He was about to leave, he had better things to do than entertain this

Like actually fixing generators or looking for the trap door

But when you pulled out the gun did he decide to stay

Even tho a part of him still wanted to leave, felt it would be safer if he did like he trusted you but not enough to trust you with a possible gun in your hands

He decided to stay because he wanted to see what would happen, see if this was all some bs excuse or if it was legit

All he knew that in the end someone was getting hurt

It’s always okay to ask for a fic! If it’s long (like story telling not bulletins) I will likely post it on my AO3 and then upload the link here

Haha! Long story short! Yes, it did die for a bit but revival is on the horizon (starting to finish previous asks)

Short story long? This was my final year of uni so all my time went into that, which of course made my depression worse :( which in turn killed my inspiration. Like just this past week and a half-ish I finally did two quick characters! In like a year and a half (actual planned out things not random doodles). I’m sure any of us, writers/artists/animators/etc, all know how badly any sort of block is, and for those suffering any additional blockage (mental/physical illness either personal or someone you know, a change in your routine be it school or work, or anything that may be keeping you away) things do really pass! Sometimes it’s sucky long, sometimes it’s lucky short, but never give up your passion! <3
