That pisses her off. She didnât think sheâd stoop so low to hit a kid, but here they are. The Doppelganger really doesnât care. She IS scared. Sheâs confused and thereâs no way in hell sheâd let them take her away. THIS is her place, her world, she belongs here. The Doppelganger is breathing heavy, but she looks to still have enough energy to keep fighting. Sheâs not going down.
Deborah looks at Edward, eyebrows furrowed. âThereâs no talking to her.â She knows herself that much. âSheâs not going to listen. Weâll have to do this by force.â Deborah reaches out, placing a knuckle against the kidâs cheek just a light tap to wipe off a smudge of blood, âCâmon. Sheâs bound to get tired if sheâs up against two of us. If youâre able to encase her inâŚ.We may have a chance in sealing her away.â She wonât use her gun. Itâs placed back in its holster and she steps forward, knuckles cracking as she does so, âAlright. If you want a fight, weâll give it to ya. I can beat the living shit out of you no problem.âÂ
Her words makes the Doppelganger scoff. This is more like it. And here she comes again, ready to strike and Deborahâs ready to parry.Â
âRight,â Ed nods. Sheâd know her own doppelganger best, right? If thereâs no talking to her, he can handle a fight. Hell, thatâs what heâs used to! So he wastes no time jumping back into the fray.
He only has a few more uses of alchemy left, so he has to time his barriers carefully-- giving her less space to move around is a good way to capture her... but also a good way to make her feel cornered. And Ed knows how dangerous someone can be when theyâre backed into a corner.
âHow do you want to do this?!â He tries to cover Deborah as much as he can-- using his alchemy to try to block the doppelgangerâs path when her attention is focused on her double. âI can keep making the area smaller with alchemy, but I donât want you to get attacked, either!â
