This has been driving me crazy.

Henry doesn’t “get low” because he’s unfamiliar with the song, with the dance, with this whole environment. Of course he’s going to awkwardly stand there.

Alex said this song was his childhood. So why didn’t he “get low”?

I feel like it says so much that Alex was so focused on Henry that he forgot to do the dance to one of his favorite songs. That boy was oblivious for so long; look at his eyes man.

Alex clearly fucking adores him. He likes him so much, even though he’s oblivious to the romantic tension at this point. Henry is his friend, and he likes him! He spends the whole night with him!

They’re in their own little world chatting on the couch, he leaves the girl he was with to go get him involved when he’s standing off by the bar, and as soon as Henry leaves, he follows, despite being the host and most popular person there.

All he really cares about is if Henry is having fun.

He starts grinning and continuing to look at Henry after he sees him “dancing”. He’s happy that Henry is enjoying the party. It is so fucking cute.
