Remember that Nancy Drew reboot we got all psyched about earlier this year? Well, apparently, this week CBS execs reviewed the pilot episode and passed on the series completely. Why? Oh, I’m sure these white guys had something to say.

There is absolutely no reason for women to compete with one another or have any animosity between each other, which is something that I have seen a lot— especially in the entertainment industry. So I do everything in my power to stop that and to encourage support, friendship, and empowerment among all of the women that I meet.

The other thing it does is kind of puts together that kind of creepy guy with for example a bi woman who only wants to date other women because of shared understanding or whatever reasons people have for only wanting to date other people within the same oppressed group. She would then be described as a homoromantic bisexual as if that was anywhere similar to “heteroromantic bisexual” dude, even though they’re totally separate situations with completely different motivations.
