It eventually gets better, without any sort of explanation; you just wake up one morning and you’re not as upset anymore.

The world is most beautiful at 4 AM because people are asleep and nature is wide awake.

I spend a lot of times alone. I like drinking coffee alone, going to the local bar at night and drinking a good bottle of beer alone, driving alone, working alone. I like those times when I can just be in my own element, whether its taking a bus alone or walking between classes & far buildings. Because during these times life seems so simple. I put in my earphones and look at my surroundings and for a while things doesn’t have to make sense. I can just be in that moment; where everything moves and stays still at the same time and I can just be me and everything is okay.

The most intimate thing we can do is to allow people we love most see us at our worst. At our lowest. At our weakest. True intimacy happens when nothing is perfect.

There are some people you’ll never see again. At least, not in the same way.

I feel like a part of my soul has loved you since the beginning of everything. Maybe we’re from the same star.

Find someone who makes you feel drunk when you’re sober

I won’t beg someone to love me. I learned long ago that there is no use in hopeless pleas of trying to make someone stay. I am too good to chase someone who does not know my worth and I am too wild to keep waiting for someone who doesn’t acknowledge my value. I want to be loved unconditionally. I shouldn’t have to fight so hard for it. I do not have the time to prove to someone that I am worth it. I shouldn’t have to prove any of that; I am worth more than that.
