⭐️ Upcoming Social Interactions Enhancement!! ⭐️
Big news for the Dreams & Nightmares Mod! Based on the recent poll where you overwhelmingly chose social interactions as your favorite secondary feature of the mod, I’m gearing up for some game-changing enhancements in future updates.
Currently, when Sims share their dreams, they receive somewhat generic responses – yes, these vary depending on their relationship with the target sim, but they're still not specific. That’s about to change! In future updates, each dream and nightmare will spark unique dialogues and reaction buffs/moodlets. This will bring more realism, making conversations deeply immersive.
Let me show you what I mean with an example featuring Benji and Mateusz. Mateusz recently had a wonderful dream about rescuing a stray dog:
Well, he wants to tell Benji about it...
...and so he does. Benji's reaction to the dream is not just enthusiastic but specific. He shares with Mateusz his personal thoughts and feelings about the story he just heard.
But that's not all. Each of them gets a reaction buff/moodlet expressing how they felt about this exchange. While Mateusz's response might be fairly standard, Benji's reaction is deeply personal – he reminisces about his childhood wish to adopt a puppy. And between you and me, I think he just might make that dream a reality! 🐶
As you can see, this enhancement is designed to make you feel like the Sims are having real, meaningful conversations with each other. It adds personality and a significant level of detail to the game.
Creating individual responses for each dream scenario is a huge undertaking. This update involves a meticulous revamp of hundreds of dreams and nightmares, all to create a more authentic and engaging experience. To ensure quality and attention to detail, these changes will be introduced gradually. Starting with a select group of dreams and nightmares, I'll expand the updates over time, enhancing your Sims' conversations step by step.
