She’s heard small conversations in town about these shrines that supposedly belonged to the farm Gods of these islands. You were granted favors, or possibly good luck or even fortune if you made an offering. She isn’t very keen on offering something for free, especially to someone she isn’t sure that deserves her benevolence.
Seraphina has heard of the popularity polls; they’re posted everywhere like useless propaganda with this “election” taking place. It seems the God of Water has some groupies; perhaps it would be in her best interest to seek this God out and see what makes him so popular.
The princess carries a ruby ring in her grasp, approaching the water God’s shrine. She can’t lie how the tanks of water above her head make her nervous, but she keeps a calm demeanor, placing the ring on the pedestal before the shrine.
