Okay so I know this is old news and i’m late to the game here but I’m pissed off. I was just told by an anti-brony that Derpy, my favorite pony, was “fixed” in the Season 2 episode “The Last Round Up” and he was happy becauf of this change saying she is offensive and hurts the people she stereotypes…. Um. Hello. Im one of those people. Heres a little back story. 1) I was born with a speech inpedamint. For the first 5 or 6 year of my life i could speak but no one would ever understand me. I ended up reverting to what most people with a speaking problem do, i screamed and threw a fit until they guess the right answer. It took years of speak classes to get me where i needed to be. 2) i have crossed eyes. I was born with normal vision that slowly turned into my eyes crossing to look perminatly at my nose. Just like derpys. My glasses are the strongest they can be and only when i wear them do my eyes stay straight but if i dont concentrate or focus to hard they cross again. 3) I was born with blonde hair, weak bones and fragile skin. I was made fun of alot for constantly falling or hurting something. I always sick due to my severe allergies or a wound or infection. People laughed and treated me like i was 2 just because i was different then them. I still get hurt easy, i have to carry a parasol on sunny days.

So heres my rant. I DONT GET WHY SHE IS OFFENSIVE. Shes derpy. Im just like her and i actually at first didn’t notice she was mentally disabled or whatever you wanna call it. I thought “awwww shes adorable. Best pony already.” So someone, whom she should offend in every place, she made laugh and come to love her. Cencoring her and taking her from the show, changing her name and her voice…. That offends me more then the first derpy!! That you want to shelter and keep us hidden from the world so you normal perfect people can walk around like we aren’t even alive. My nickname is Derpy. I wear a derpy lanyard and dog tag around my neck everywhere i go. When people get mad, i tell them everything and then say, “she is just like me. So if she offends you then i must offend you.” If derpy is so offensive for being handy capped, why isnt scootaloo censored?? She is a disabled pegasis who is treated normally even though she cant fly. Or how about Snails?? Who is just as stupid as derpy?? How is when he crosses his eyes and goes “hehe i like pudding” not more offensive then derpy who cant help her eyes and says “i like muffins.” Is it because she is a girl? What makes her the odd pony out?? My sister is mentally disabled, where we can never fully be normal and she was the one who showed me derpy. I didnt even know what the show was until this 6 year old little girl handed me her tablet and said “Look! Thats derpy! Shes cute huh?’ The only reason i can see for people getting offended about depry is that you wanna complain about something all the time!! Its not fans of the show that complain about her and want her band, ITS THE ANTI BRONIES THAT WANT TO FIND A REASON. Why cant we all agree to just like different things? Why does my joy and happiness offend you but that person over there who is just like me but for this one thing any different? The show teaches kids about loving and caring for your friends and one another. The fans are amazing and talented and wonderfully nice people.

I think im done now. Sorry to waist your time. This post isnt to cause a problem so please dont comment and try to start a fight. This was just to get it off my chest and tell my opinion as someone who should be offended but isnt.
