My tooth fell out this weekend. My family in Japan believes when someone’s tooth falls out, it is a sign of bad luck coming. One of my friend said “ I feel disappointed today because of the actions of our President elect regarding immigration. I am an immigrant and this country is made up of people like me. This is making me sad but more the reason we have to continue to keep the faith and shine.” I was surprised because I had the same feeling. I am a first generation immigrant in the United State. We can try to spread a positive outlook and still take action. We are united. Thank you to a friend for the message.
