big fan of whatever joker and ryuji have going on in persona 5

one of the tropes atlus lovessss using in persona is the sheer power of love being able to bring a person back to life. which implies that the characters that die permanently (with a few exceptions ie: makoto yuki) simply weren't loved enough. which is pretty fucking sad if you think about it

it also makes persona 5 royal so much more meta. maybe if you loved them enough, maybe this time, you will defy fate

If the live action persona 5 pushes through, brace yourselves for the most whitewashed Japan imaginable (if it even still takes place in Japan and not New York or something). also Hollywood does not yaoibait the way Japan knows how to yaoibait, so you gotta brace yourselves for extremely hetero shuake. thats the real nightmare
