okay, first of all, i miss you too—like, a stupid amount. it’s been way too long, and i’m officially calling us out for letting life get in the way. but yeah, you’re not wrong; life has been full-on lately. between work, traveling, and trying to carve out time for myself, it’s been nonstop. the good news is that i am going to peru soon and i can’t wait to see my family! how are you, big bro?

alright, what do we think about the sudden wave of look-alike contests that are popping up around the world? there's been one for timothee chalamet, zayn malik, jeremy allen white, paul mescal, and so on. not gonna lie, i'm a little obsessed with them. they're weird, yes, but it's also kind of hilarious to watch. some of the contestants are just ... no. don't know what they were thinking or who lied to them but yikes. think having one centered around you would weird you out? let me know while i go make posters for an oliver jackson-cohen look-alike contest in my bedroom next saturday.

They are pretty weird, and it'd be trippy as fuck to see a crowd of people that're your literal twin, all gathered in one spot, especially since they say never to meet your doppelganger—some shit about bad luck, or one of you not making it out alive—either way... trippy. you hit the nail on the head—gotta avoid that burnout. oh my god, it’s like disney has some kind of magic hold on kids. you can’t get them to move once it’s on. netflix is my kryptonite too. i start a show thinking, “i’ll just watch one episode,” and before i know it, it’s 3 a.m. i’m deep into three different series, and work the next morning is a struggle. i can see sakura with that attitude. feisty kids are the best, even though i know it’s hard not to crack up when they’re being little rebels. the finger thing? priceless. she learned from the best, clearly! it’s gotta be impossible not to laugh, even when you’re trying to lay down the law. you know we’re about to go all out when we finally link up. those days will be lost to partying, and i am so down for that. but honestly, your protectiveness means the world to me. even though i try to be strong and keep my guard up, knowing you’re looking out for me gives me so much peace of mind. you’ve been through all the ups and downs in this industry, and the fact that you’ve got my back through it all? i can’t thank you enough for that. i really mean it.
