It’s been a while Tumblr — but AKCF is still here!
We had been on Vimeo for quite a while (after sprouting up on YouTube), and as we started to make videos less often, our Pro account payments seemed irrational to continue...
One caveat came to that, however: we found that Vimeo had a fine-print policy that it would disable all but a certain amount of videos uploaded during our Pro plan, regardless of what their file size was. Of course, this was quite the load of bullshit to find out, and, with being done throwing away money at Vimeo, we knew there had to be a better place out there.
For a while, one of us has had a personal account on Vidme, a great site that puts the focus on the creators and the community. So, we knew that had to be the next place for AKCF to migrate to!
So, come check out our Vidme page at https://vid.me/akcfproductions and see what we’ve been up to! We’d have just made the URL /akcf again, but that was too short for them. :D
As life so happens, our members have been drifting from their childhood stomping grounds as driftwood in an ocean, so we make less videos than we used to. But the passion remains as our film-making (and equipment) grows!
Every once in a while we get the chance to film something, and we are always trying out new locations and expanding out horizons!
We keep moving to smaller communities and get less exposure, unfortunately, but AKCF has always been more of a personal project that we like to share with the world — offroad-downhill casterboarding set to music with the occasional inside joke (the best kind).
So, if you like experimental action sports, look no further!
