'Transliteration'

Wa idh ta’adhdhana rabbukum la’in shakartum la’azeedannakum wa la’in kafartum inna ‘azaabi lashadeed

'English Translation'

"And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor], but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’"

'Transliteration'

Inna Allaaha yuhibbut-tawwaabeena wa yuhibbul-mutatwahhireen

'English Translation'

"Indeed, Allaah loves those who repent and those who purify themselves."

— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

Hadith of the Day

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Every son of Aadam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent."

— (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2499, Ibn Maajah 4251)
